Chapter 1 - JACK AND LISA JOURNEY

The story of the Siblings: Jack and Liza's Journey

 Part 1

Jack and Liza had always been inseparable. As siblings, they shared everything—joy, sorrow, and the unbreakable bond of family. But one fateful night changed their lives forever.

Their parents, travelers and merchants, had been returning from a distant city when their caravan was ambushed in the dark forests of Ravendale. No one survived.

The villagers spoke in hushed tones of a bandit attack, but others whispered of something darker—an ancient curse that haunted those woods.

Jack, only 14, and Liza, just 10, were left alone in the world. With no home, no relatives, and no one willing to take them in, they were forced to survive on their own.

The streets of their town, once filled with laughter, became a harsh battleground. They scavenged for food, slept in abandoned houses, and relied on each other to endure the cruelty of fate.

But Jack refused to let despair consume them. "We will find out the truth," he told Liza one night as they sat by a small fire under an old bridge. "We will avenge our parents."

 Part 2

Liza, though frightened, believed in her brother's strength. "But how?" she asked.

Jack clenched his fists. "We will start by finding those who were with them that night. Someone must know something."

Their journey took them to Ravendale, the last place their parents had been seen alive. The village was eerie, the air thick with fear. The innkeeper, an old man with sorrowful eyes, hesitated before speaking. "Your parents... they were not just attacked. They were hunted."

"Hunted?" Liza whispered.

The old man nodded. "There is an evil in those woods. A creature—neither man nor beast—seeks out travelers. Your parents tried to escape, but none ever do.

Jack and Liza exchanged a glance. This was more than just a simple attack. It was something far worse. And if no one else would stop it, then they would.

Armed with nothing but courage and determination, the siblings prepared for the most dangerous journey of their lives. They would face the darkness that had stolen their family—and they would not stop until they found justice.

Jack and Liza stood at the edge of the dark Ravendale forest. The trees loomed above them like silent giants, their twisted branches clawing at the sky. The whispers of the wind carried something unsettling—something that made the hairs on their arms stand.
