Well, for one am glad that we nailed it with the theory of the events, but honestly it's easier said than done.
Today we finally published our first chapter.
Damn, it sure needs some refinement, but now that it's out there, the anxiety has cooled off, replaced with a mild anticipation for feedback to flood in, while secretly dreading the idea that possibly there might not be any feedback at all or that it might take too long & revive our anxiety afresh. After all, it's only one chapter, alot of people probably might not even bother reading it & they'd maybe wait for the book to accumulate some size, but I'm content either way since feedback is bound to eventually come as we keep producing & publishing the work.
