Chapter 108 - Chapter 108 - Villain's Theater! Painting the Events in His Favor! (I)

Jasmine raised her small, delicate hands, and a profound energy exploded around her like a storm. The Heavenly Poison Pearl trembled violently as layers of the spatial seal ignited, resisting her force. She gathered everything into a single attack—the most powerful one she could unleash at that moment—and struck the barrier with all the strength she still had left.

BAM!

The space inside the Heavenly Poison Pearl shook as if it had been struck by a divine hammer.

But the barrier… did not crack.

Not even a scratch.

The profound energy she had mobilized dissipated into useless sparks.

She fell to her knees in the void, gasping for breath, her face as pale as melted wax. Cold beads of sweat trickled down her forehead.

That damned Absolute God-Slaying Poison!

Anyone poisoned by it could not use their full strength, or the poison would react violently. The more power one mobilized, the more devastating the backlash would be—and that was exactly what had just happened. In that instant, the poison unleashed an overwhelming reaction within her spiritual body… consuming, all at once, several months of careful purification. Even though she was inside the [Heavenly Poison Pearl], which helped contain the poison and purify it, preventing her from suffering truly mortal agony, it was still…

Excruciatingly painful.

Even so, she tried again.

And again.

And again.

Each strike was weaker than the previous one.

Until finally, she simply stopped, her hands falling limply at her sides. If she continued, the residual poison would consume her from the inside out—it was her limit! Her face was morbidly pale at that moment…

So she could only watch helplessly at everything happening outside.

Her small body trembled with fury and powerlessness as she floated; her blood-red hair rippled around her as though submerged in invisible water. The murderous intent radiating from her was so dense that the very space inside the pearl seemed to bend.

If she could get out now… if she could touch Fen Juechen even for a single second…

She would burn him to ashes.

Not because Yun Che was good or deserved salvation. But because, despite everything—despite being an incorrigible pervert, despite being selfish, despite often being unbearable—he was still her disciple. And because, somewhere very deep in the heart she had always denied possessing, he reminded her of her older brother… the one who had ended up dying.

She didn't want to feel that pain again.

The opponent gave Yun Che no time at all to think or react.

First came the severing of his left arm.

She saw the blood spray in a perfect arc. She heard Yun Che's guttural scream tear through the air. Her tiny fists clenched so hard that her nails dug into her palms, but no sound escaped her—only a faint, trembling, almost inaudible sigh.

"No…"

Then came the second arm.

She bit her lip hard as the nightmare continued before her eyes, as Fen Juechen slowly crushed his legs, like someone crushing an insect.

She watched as the first golden pill was forced down his throat… as Yun Che's body convulsed, changed, became a woman… as every single Divine Legacy of her disciple was ripped away—even the Evil God Legacy that she herself had bestowed upon him!

Jasmine's stomach churned.

"You idiot… you complete idiot…" she murmured, her voice trembling. "Why… why did you let him live back then? Why didn't you kill him when you had the chance? Why… why do you always have to be so… so stupid…"

The tears finally escaped, tracing shining lines down her pale face.

What could she do in that situation?

Her mind was completely lost as countless questions raced through it and chaotic emotions overwhelmed her heart…

But she quickly snapped out of her stupor when the space in front of Fen Juechen rippled.

A man appeared. He wore dark robes that seemed to absorb the surrounding light. The figure was tall, imposing, and elegant in an almost unreal way. His black hair fell loose all the way down his back, framing a face of transcendental beauty—as if the gods themselves had sculpted every feature with the sole purpose of achieving absolute perfection. He looked like an immortal descended directly from the heavens: features flawless as celestial jade, eyes deep as a starry abyss, and a chilling presence that crushed the soul. It wasn't merely beauty—it was a perfection that made even her heart waver for a dangerously long instant…

Jasmine felt the air catch in her throat. Her mind went completely blank at the sight of such a beautiful man…

And then he moved casually, as though swatting away a fly.

His right hand rose in a lazy, almost careless gesture.

And struck Fen Juechen square in the center of the chest.

There was no sound of impact. No explosion. Just… a dry crack.

Fen Juechen flew backward as though he had been hit by an entire planet. His body collided against the spatial barrier he himself had raised, shattering it like fragile glass. Blood sprayed from his mouth as he slid downward, falling to his knees, chest caved in, his dead eyes finally showing something: pure shock.

He tried to speak.

He couldn't.

The beautiful immortal didn't even glance at him.

His deep black eyes turned directly toward Yun Che—or rather, toward the broken young woman on the ground. He walked toward her in slow steps, golden stars shining in the open palm of his right hand.

The golden light enveloped Yun Che's mutilated body. The stumps of his arms began to bubble with flesh and bone regenerating in real time—muscles, tendons, skin, everything reconstructed in seconds. The crushed legs reformed, bones realigning with soft cracks, flesh returning to its place as though time itself were being rewound.

Jasmine felt her heart stop.

"Im… impossible…"

What kind of profound art was that!? She recognized that it belonged to the Profound Element of Light, but she had never heard of a profound art so heaven-defying that it could heal anyone to perfect condition in an instant!

After doing so, the immortal turned.

His black eyes met Fen Juechen, who was struggling to rise, coughing blood, body trembling.

The murderous intent emanating from the immortal was so dense, so absolute, that even the surrounding space seemed to bend and scream.

His gaze descended upon Fen Juechen.

When he spoke, his voice was low, cold, and utterly authoritative.

"Who are you…"

The silence became suffocating.

He took a step forward, and the very space seemed to sink beneath his feet.

"And how dare you… do this in my territory…"

His hand fell onto Fen Juechen's shoulder.

The crack that followed was grotesque.

Fen Juechen's scream came out distorted and bestial as his body shook violently, as though not only his shoulder but his very soul was being crushed. Amid spasms of pain, he finally broke…

"I… I came for revenge… against that trash… Yun Che… he destroyed everything I had… I just wanted… to make him suffer…"

The immortal frowned. A deep scowl marred his perfect face.

"Revenge?" He repeated calmly, while an expression of disgust appeared on his beautiful face. "And why involve the innocent? Using that Divine Burial Mist… Though it is not fatal, you planned to leave all my subjects, foster parents, and wife unconscious? Just for desiring that, you are condemned to die by my hand… But before that, you must have the antidote, correct? If you do and I don't need to refine it, I will grant you a swift death…"

Without saying anything more, Fen Juechen's spatial ring flew straight into his palm.

He opened the ring with a thought.

Several objects floated out: Yun Che's severed arms, the Azure Primordial Dragon Legacy, the Divine Phoenix Legacy, the Evil God's Immortal Blood, the Samsara Mirror… and a small vial of silvery liquid.

The antidote to the Divine Burial Mist.

The immortal did not hesitate.

With a flick of his wrist, the vial was hurled with overwhelming force.

The dome covering the Illusory Demon Imperial City exploded like glass under divine impact, spatial fragments scattering in all directions. Jasmine's eyes widened completely. With her current strength, she hadn't even been able to scratch that barrier… and he shattered it like paper.

When the vial struck the ground, a mist spread instantly across the entire city.

A silver mist spread instantly, covering the whole Illusory Demon Imperial City.

At the same time, she felt all the city's inhabitants awakening. Familiar presences quickly appeared in her perception: Yun Che's parents… and beside them… Xia Qingyue and Feng Xue'er?

Jasmine had no time to process it.

The man turned his attention back to the spatial ring, making Yun Che's arms float out. But in that very instant, a faint glow lit up in his hand.

Her pupils contracted to their limit.

Another Heavenly Poison Pearl!?

Before any thought could form, Yun Che's pearl was violently pulled and merged with the man's in a single flash—they fused.

In the instant of fusion, Jasmine felt an overwhelming wave sweep through her soul.

The Heavenly Profound Treasure… had changed masters!? It had completely acknowledged the Immortal as its legitimate owner!? And worse, she felt the spiritual bond forming.

Exactly as it had when she first met Yun Che and used his blood to establish that bond. This meant… if he died, she would die too!

Her heart sank even further when she realized another change. The barrier sealing the [Heavenly Poison Pearl]'s dimension had been "broken" during the process—or more precisely, transformed. It was no longer an absolute prison. Now it seemed more like a lock preventing her from leaving without the new master's permission. She only noticed the difference because her spiritual sense, with extreme sensitivity, detected the subtle alteration in the seal's structure.

…It made sense.

After all, the Immortal had become the master of the Heavenly Treasure in a far more complete way than her former disciple…

But that wasn't all.

Jasmine turned toward Hong'er, who slept peacefully on the bed Yun Che had given her. Even while asleep, it was possible to see a seal forming on her body, exactly in the same place where it had appeared when she first formed the contract with Yun Che.

Only this time…

The contract Jasmine had always believed unbreakable was being undone.

And in its place, a new bond—far more complex and profound—was being sealed with the Immortal.

At the same time, the [Samsara Mirror] that Fen Juechen had stolen floated by itself to the immortal's neck. The necklace wrapped itself there on its own, as though recognizing its true owner. The man tried to remove it, but the mirror did not budge.

He frowned.

But he had no time to even speak, because next the Azure Primordial Dragon Legacy, the Divine Phoenix Legacy, and the Evil God's Immortal Blood were all drawn into his body and fused!

"…!!!!!!" Jasmine's eyes widened as she watched the absurdity unfold before her.

Earlier, when Fen Juechen revealed pills capable of stealing Divine Legacies, she had already been deeply incredulous. Still, her concern for Yun Che had prevailed in her shaken heart.

But now… all of Yun Che's legacies were being drawn to that immortal.

Why?

How was this happening?

Jasmine felt her heart sink. In all her existence, with all the knowledge and experience she possessed, she had never seen—nor even heard of—anything like this…

It was as though all of Yun Che's luck, every opportunity the fate had granted him, was now being stripped away. As though destiny itself had changed hands… and chosen someone it deemed more "qualified".

But it still wasn't over.

In that instant, because of the forced fusion of all those Divine Legacies, the Immortal was compelled to fall unconscious. Yet before he could touch the ground, the Little Demon Empress appeared and gently caught him.

Meanwhile, Fen Juechen seized the opportunity to grab the fallen spatial ring… and fled quickly.

The Little Demon Empress cast a gaze filled with hatred at the retreating man and even considered pursuing him. However, when she lowered her eyes to the Immortal in her arms, her cold pupils wavered; concern, genuine affection, and love.

It was a look Jasmine had never seen before on the Ruler of the Illusory Demon Realm. Though she had met her only a few times, Jasmine was absolutely certain: that look could only be directed at Yun Ren Zu, her supposed husband.

The supreme genius of profound energy in the history of the Illusory Demon Realm.

The number one doctor under the heavens.

The one who had reached the Divine Profound Realm and who, above all, possessed absolute beauty…

He truly lived up to his reputation; beautiful like a true immortal.

Deep down, Jasmine firmly believed he could even be compared… to the woman who killed her brother and who was considered the most beautiful in the entire Primordial Chaos.

She shook her head, forcing herself to push those chaotic thoughts away.

What mattered now was one single thing.

What was she going to do in the face of this absurd situation?
