The remaining guard looked at Aiden with disbelief—and determination.
"This gate means everything to me," he said, removing his chest armor."I won't let anyone through."
"MY DREAM WAS TO FIGHT SOMEONE AS STRONG AS YOU" The knight laughed maniacly.
He charged. This time, faster. His blade aimed precisely.
Aiden dodged low, trying to strike—but missed.
A sharp movement from the knight nearly landed another hit, grazing Aiden's side again.
He backed away, breathing harder.
But something clicked.
Aiden adjusted his stance. Then, a clean sweep kick caught the knight off balance.
But the knight stood up immediatly.
They clashed—strikes exchanged, steps danced in rhythm. The knight gave it everything he had, but Aiden's movements were sharper now—more calculated.
But suddenly, the knight pierced his chest.
"Oh so this is the end, it's was nice meeting you' The knight said
But When he tried pulling it out, he couldn't, its was stuck
Aiden laughed. Then said "You fell right in my trap"
This is all just a trick. I left my chest opened intentionialy
With swift motion, Aiden clutched the sword in his chest.
And then pulled it out, "Now that's the sword is in my grasp, you have no weapon to defend yourself".
Aiden stabbed the knight with his own sword.
"I didn't come to fight… but I won't back down," Aiden said.
The knight, chest heaving, dropped to one knee.
Silence followed. Only the wind remained.
The gate loomed behind them.Still shut.But something told Aiden—this was only the beginning.
