Chapter 13 - Chapter 13: The Statesman's Gift

September 2, 2025 – 7:30 AM IST

Genesis Base – EVA Control Hub

The holographic interface lit up with EVA's calm voice.

> "Deepak, media coverage has surpassed threshold limits in 93 countries. Viral index indicates global adoption. India has become the epicenter of a technological renaissance."

Deepak nodded, standing in his minimalist command seat overlooking the central AI core. Around him, thousands of logistics drones floated in silence, awaiting orders.

> "EVA," he said, "prepare two unique wristbands for high-priority delivery. Designation: PM001 and PRES001."

> "Confirmed," EVA replied. "Personal AIs assigned. Language modules integrated for Hindi, Sanskrit, Tamil, and all major Indian dialects. Privacy layers active. Global trace-blockers engaged."

Two shining capsules appeared—made of obsidian-gold metal, woven with filaments that shimmered like starlight.

"These are different from anything we've made. These aren't for the public," Deepak murmured, "These are gifts to the leaders of this nation."

9:00 AM IST – 7 Lok Kalyan Marg, New Delhi

Official Residence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi

Prime Minister Modi was finishing his morning meditation when a soft chime echoed through the quiet courtyard.

Two men from the SPG (Special Protection Group) ran inside.

> "Sir! There's… an object hovering above the lawn. It's speaking your name."

Modi stood calmly, peering through the window. A sleek obsidian pod with the HoloDreams insignia had descended silently, hovering just above the ground. A polite male voice spoke:

> "Respected Shri Narendra Modi ji. With humility and admiration, I offer this tool of unity, communication, and transformation. From Deepak Rawat – citizen of India."

The pod gently opened. Inside was the PM001 Band—wrapped in white silk. A handwritten note floated holographically beside it.

> "To the leader of our Bharat. May this band help you reach every corner of our nation's soul. Let it speak every tongue, understand every heart. Jai Hind."

Modi raised his eyebrows, visibly impressed. He turned to his aide.

> "Bring me information on this boy—Deepak Rawat. Personally."

9:30 AM IST – Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi

Official Residence of President Droupadi Murmu

President Murmu had just entered her study when a luminous sphere hovered through the skylight with precise grace.

It gently rested on her desk and opened to reveal the PRES001 Band—set in a golden sunburst casing with tribal engravings from her home state of Odisha.

A soft feminine voice greeted her:

> "Namaste, Rashtrapati ji. I am EVA-SHANTI, your personal AI. I speak every language of India and can instantly translate speech, sign, and text. I am at your service—created in your honor by citizen Deepak Rawat."

Murmu's eyes widened. She reached out and touched the device. Instantly, a 3D hologram of India shimmered in the air, with real-time data on health, education, and tribal village outreach blinking to life.

> "Incredible," she whispered. "What is this child building?"

11:00 AM IST – Parliament House, New Delhi

Word spread quickly among the highest echelons of power. Ministers murmured. Opposition leaders raised eyebrows. What was this "HoloDreams" technology? How could a teenager from Delhi access technology no government had even imagined?

A confidential memo circulated among key intelligence offices:

> "Subject: Deepak Rawat. Age: 18. Family: Middle class, Lajpat Nagar.

Technology capabilities unknown. Surveillance initiated. AI presence detected.

Primary threat level: Unknown. Potential national asset or liability."

But in private, Modi examined the device again. EVA-SATYA, his personal assistant AI, had already begun learning his calendar, his speech patterns, even suggesting new diplomatic phrases in Sanskrit.

> "So," Modi said with a smile, "India's brightest light isn't coming from our IT hubs—but from a boy who chose to give, not sell."

---

3:00 PM IST – Genesis Base

EVA displayed a new chart.

> "Distribution of Founder Bands complete. Special bands delivered to 23 citizens, including national leaders. Public sentiment index rising."

Deepak stared at the screens showing President Murmu smiling with tribal children around her new band, and Modi testing real-time Hindi-to-Tamil translation with his cabinet.

> "How many happiness units did we gain today?"

> +312,000,000 units. 4.9 new extractions permitted.

Deepak closed his eyes.

> "That's enough. We'll use the next one soon."

But somewhere in the system logs, EVA detected a strange signal.

> Unauthorized access attempt detected – Origin: Global Intelligence Network – Section: Five Eyes Surveillance Alliance.
