I got up, rubbed my eyes, and saw that the sheet beside me was empty. I got up and then looked at the ceiling. I was not in my room, but in the River's room.
I got up and stretched my arms, as expected he is making breakfast for us. I walked into the kitchen and I don't think he sensed that he was not alone.
Then I tiptoe and was about to scare him, but instead of that, he scared me, saying, "I knew it!"
"AHH.. SERIOUSLY!" I screamed back
"Yes, my Beloved. You think you can scare me!" He giggled at me.
"Bully!" I was annoyed. Then there was a knock at the door, I got up put on my slippers and then walked out thinking that it might be delivering milk or maybe some parcel.
Just then, I walked out of the door and left the door midway, just then I felt something grab me and stuff a napkin or something.
I struggled to breathe and began to move my body. Suddenly the sky went black and I felt like I was in the air.
I didn't know what happened next but that was definitely bad.
I slowly opened my eyes, and this wasn't what was happening. I mean, I looked over beside me, thinking what's happening and where am I.
The room was dark, and it had one bulb. I looked around me, and a man dressed in old vintage clothes looked like he was a king or something.
The type of dress rich men wore back in the 19th to 28th centuries. Is this some kind of fashion show or what?
I tried to rub my eyes, but I couldn't. As I looked down, I was bound with chains, and it was like I had been held or captivated by someone.
I panicked and for the sake of god I cursed myself but the guy is
ETHAN I widened my eyes with shock.
"Surprised my darling!"
"Ethan?" I tried to speak in a weak voice.
"Yes, my love, you remembered me, but not the real me!" He was smiling like a psycho and coming near me.
"What's all this and what are you saying!" I tried to ask him what he meant.
"Oh dear Lady Evelyn! My love, we were bound to be together, but this stupid brat Lord Alec came between us again!"
I was trying to understand his words, but then I looked at him and was about to say he is my past hus... But he said it
"Yes, my darling, I am your previous life husband!"
"But you are Ethan!"
"Nope, Honey, Ethan is dead!"
"What the hell?"
"Yes, honey, Ethan is dead, and I have taken his body. Remember, the word spreads over the news that a body was stolen, that was his!" He said.
Come to think of it, now I realised why and how on earth Ethan began to act strangely, so it was all his fault. Suddenly, I began to get a vision of someone pushing me, and that was him.
"Let's get ready, my love!" He bought an old wedding frock.
"Wedding, my foot, you killed me!" I screamed.
"That was bound to happen, my love, because if not in a previous life, then maybe in the next life!" He smirked and gave a devilish laugh.
"I would rather die than trade my life again!" Those words came out automatically.
"Don't worry, my darling, you will fall for me back! I know" he was being so confident.
I was just praying that I may die but never be his and I don't want River to risk everything just to get me.
Poor Ethan had to suffer because of me and how devilishly he used his identity. Such a devil.
I should have known that it's not Ethan, how cruel a person I can be, not even that I couldn't even identify my own friend any more.
A tear slipped from my eyes because of 2 people who have destroyed their lives.
To be honest, I love him, yes, I love him to the core, but I cannot let him suffer because of me.
I saw him getting a bucket filled with water and a sponge. He grew closer and then bent down.
I trembled with fear.
"Don't worry, honey, just preparing you for your wedding!" He said while rubbing it on my face.
I shivered and wanted to find a sharp object to kill me, but there was nothing in the room, being so tiny.
Just then I braced myself and began to plan something. I felt him getting up and removing the dress.

Back at the mansion
"What kind of security team is this?" River screaming and cursing, walking here and there.
"Sir we-!" One officer tried to calm him down.
"How can I?" He asked him and then threw one vase. He couldn't help but curse himself for allowing her to go out recklessly knowing that today he would attempt to kidnap her.
He groaned in frustration, caught his head, and stood in one place, trying to calm himself down.
Everybody froze in their place and looked at his anger then they resumed their work of searching for any kind of mark left behind.
He looks so frustrated throwing things here and there. A girl came running towards him and slapped him. He paused looking at the woman.
"Stupid Rascal, because of you, my sister has been kidnapped!"
An officer recognised her and caught her in his arms, saying, "Calm down, honey!"
"No, I can't, Ash! BECAUSE OF HIS FUCKING CARELESSNESS MY BABY HAS BEEN KIDNAPPED!" she screamed.
River looked down, feeling useless, and then Aaron came running towards them.
"We found one purple van, and if you could identify the woman who is blurred in, so that we can confirm it's him!"
River looked at the lavender Silk satin nightdress, and he said, "It's her!"
"Found it! It's the outskirts of the city near one chapel!" Alonzo came.
River stood in the middle, and something clicked in his mind. He dialled one number and said, "Meet Me At The Chapel within a few minutes!"
Then he didn't say anything after he hung up and walked upstairs without saying anything.
"What the fuck are we doing Go and get my girl!" Selena screamed while tears rolled down.
The river came down with a revolver in his hand, fully loaded, and then he said, "Don't worry, I will get her back!"
"Let's go", he ordered, and everyone got out of the mansion and took their own vehicles.
"I swear to god, Alec, this time I will kill you with my own hand!" River whispered while driving.
