Chapter 19 - Chapter 19 Kael Arrangement

At Spandine's insistence, Babs had no choice but to say:

"Sorry, I can't make the decision about this request. If you want to enter the headquarters, you first need to inform the recruitment office. Admiral Zephyr has now been turned into an Instructor and is responsible for the recruitment and training of new recruits."

When he heard Zephyr's name, Spandine's arrogance also faded. He knew that Zephyr was, in his own words, very "d****," extremely difficult to talk to, and completely clueless about how to adapt.

Spandine was still quite conscious. He dared to show off his power under the guise of the World Government in front of Rear Admiral Babs of the Marines, but with Zephyr, that wasn't the case.

He secretly glanced at Kael and saw no sign of dissatisfaction on Kael's face there was even a smile on it.

According to Spandine, there were only two possibilities for this behavior.

One was that Kael was extremely cunning and could perfectly control his emotions even if he fell out with Babs.

The other was that Kael didn't take Babs seriously at all. He relied too much on the power of his family.

Although Kael gave him a very different feeling compared to other Celestial Dragons, he still preferred the second possibility.

Because the members of the Fegalando family could do whatever they wanted!

When he thought of the Fegalando family, Spandine's fear of Zephyr suddenly disappeared.

Yes, isn't Zephyr just an ordinary Marine Admiral? In front of a member of the Fegalando family what is even the current Marine Marshal Kong?

Thinking of the attitude of Holy Alexandra toward Kael made Spandine stand up even straighter. He raised his eyebrows, pointed at Babs, and said:

"Mr. Kael wants to go to the Marines. This is an honor for you. Don't be shameless. You just said Zephyr, right? Come on, give me the phone wiretap device. I'll tell him personally. I want to see the face of the World Government."

Babs didn't expect that Spandine would dare to be so arrogant after hearing Zephyr's name, but once the words left his mouth, he got so nervous that he really wanted to reach for the phone snail on his arm.

Kael suddenly reached out and grabbed his arm.

"No need. I still have to complete the procedures. I only want you to take me and my friends to the headquarters."

While speaking, he nodded to Spandine, which immediately caused the slightly uneasy Spandine to burst into tears.

This was a step back for Babs, and he wasn't that ignorant. He immediately accepted and said he would safely take Kael and the others to Marine Headquarters.

The bear glanced nervously at the cross hanging on the central wall of the church.

Kael understood what he meant. He called Spandine over and whispered something in his ear. Spandine nodded like garlic.

After finishing the matter, Kael gave Ivan a firm pat on the shoulder, then called Berro and Ginny, and followed Babs out of the church where he had lived for six years.

Ivan stayed silent for a while, then suddenly rushed out of the church.

He shouted toward the fading figures of Kael and the others:

"Kael, thank you! And Big Bear and Ginny-chan! Please take care of yourselves!!"

Hearing Ivan's shouting from behind, Kael didn't turn around, but a smile appeared at the corner of his mouth.

He comforted the crying Ginny beside him, turned to the bear, and said:

"Berro, are you worried about those old people?"

Berro was stunned for a moment and thought to himself that he was Kael's oldest brother and always understood what he was thinking.

"Yes… they're all old and can't work heavy jobs. If something happens to their health, they won't have money to go to a doctor…"

Kael stood still, looked into the bear's eyes, and sincerely said:

"Berro, there are many people in the world like those old folks. You can't look after all of them. Their suffering isn't your fault, and you don't need to feel guilty about it."

Berro quietly nodded. He understood what Kael meant, but he had been with those old folks for a long time. He didn't want to leave them like that.

Kael dropped his serious expression and said with a smile:

"Don't worry, Berro. I've made my own arrangements for those old people."

"Eh?"

At that time in the church, the priests and nobles of the Sol Kingdom were standing in front of Spandine with their heads bowed like elementary school students.

You could say Spandine's face changed like in Sichuan Opera. Compared to the person in front of Kael, this was a completely different man.

He had a cigar in his mouth, was pacing back and forth in front of the ministers, opened his mouth, and said:

"You're all complete trash. You can't even manage a country this small properly. There are so many old people who don't even have money for treatment?"

The two suited men behind him looked at each other in confusion. Judging by Spandine, this guy was just a scumbag who wanted to be promoted and get rich. When did he start caring about people's livelihood?

One of the ministers said in a weak voice:

"Lord Spandine, actually, we don't want this either. All of this is done by King Beckley. He keeps raising taxes so much that-"

"Enough! I don't want to listen to your nonsense anymore. If Beckley is incompetent, let's find another king!"

"What?!"

Under the disbelieving gazes of all the ministers, Spandine took another puff and lightly said:

"I heard the previous king's name was Bulldog. He was a very good man! Let him ascend the throne again!"

"But the change of the king in a franchise country has to be reported to Mariejois. I don't know, Lord Spandine…"

"Hmph! Do you still have to say that? Do I look like someone who doesn't know the rules?"

After saying this, everyone there except Spandine cursed in their hearts, but no one dared to say a word.

Spandine also knew what he said wasn't very convincing. In fact, he didn't have the authority.

But since he dared to make such a decision, it was naturally because he had confidence and that confidence came from Kael.

Because everything Kael told him was this. When he thought of Kael, a fanatic expression appeared on Spandine's face. He threw away his cigar and wiped his ashy fingers on a priest's clothes.

"Let me tell you, these are Lord Kael's wishes. He is God, and his words are commands! Just carry them out obediently there's no need to worry about the rest!"

After saying this, Spandine waved his hand and left accompanied by the two suited men.
