He then shot a glare at Karthus.
"Just finish your turn already. Quit dragging it out."
"Tch. Pathetic insect, flailing to the end."
Karthus revealed another card.
"I activate the Spell Card [Mind Trust]!"
[Tribute 1 Level 2 or higher monster on your field; add 1 Tuner from your Graveyard to your hand with a Level equal to or less than half of the Tributed monster.]
"Thanks to my earlier effects, [Uni-Zombie] is now Level 5!"
"I Tribute it and retrieve [Plaguespreader Zombie] from my Graveyard to my hand."
[Uni-Zombie] vanished in a flash, and a card appeared in Karthus's hand.
[Plaguespreader Zombie] was a card known for its Graveyard effect.
But he didn't plan to use that now. The key was fixing his board's vulnerability.
"I end my turn."
Karthus scoffed, not taking Kai seriously at all.
As long as [King of the Skull Servants] survived this turn, the next turn would be Kai's doom.
[The Lady in Wight] stayed in Defense Position, shielding him from damage.
"Then it's my turn! Draw!"
Seeing his card, Kai smiled.
"Time to dismantle your pile of rotten bones!"
Silver light shimmered across his body, and his presence suddenly intensified.
Marina's eyes widened—it was the blessing of a Card Spirit!
Hope rekindled in the hearts of the others. After all, who really wanted to die? Right?
"I activate the effect of [Cyber Dragon] in my hand."
"If only my opponent controls a monster, I can Special Summon it from my hand."
"Come forth! [Cyber Dragon]!"
A silver mechanical dragon emerged in a flash.

"Heh, if Dueling was only about raw ATK, Cyber Dragons would still be Tier 1."
