Sebastian finally shifted slightly, the smallest motion, a subtle step that drew just enough attention to show he was still there, still engaged, still calculating. Lucian's eyes followed him, sharp and amused, noting every detail with the precision of a predator and the playfulness of a provocateur.
"You see," Lucian said, lowering his voice until it was a private conversation, "I notice everything. Every glance, every twitch, every hesitation. And you, Sebastian, are… very telling."
