The two men are sternfully looking at him.
Cliffdon confused asks, "But I have done nothing wrong."
The inspector comes inside the apartment without a hesitation. "Yes I know that." He says.
"This apartment is pretty old, isn't it." As he checks the dust on the table with is right hand index finger.
The other man comes inside, and starts inspecting the house. Cliffdon is completely confused and thinks what's going on.
Cliffdon with curiosity on his mind asks the inspector. "What's the meaning of this."
He replies, "You might be in a deep danger."
"Danger?" Cliffdon replies.
"Yes, and I know that you are hiding something." Seriously looks at him.
"Hiding? What to you mean? I am not hiding anything." Cliffdon panics.
"So, what's this then." The other man comes out from his room, holding his personal diary on his hand.
"I was tortured and threatened, wanted to move away from the kingdom. At last it says that I would take my own life." The man says as he smiles.
The inspector looks at him and smiles.
"So, what to you think? Are you telling the truth or you are hiding something from us."
"Uh.. what should I even tell. I don't remember anything that is readen inside the diary." Cliffdon says as he sits on the chair worried.
The inspector and the other man looks at eachother and then the inspector says,
"That means we have to take you under custody, that's the only option left."
Cliffdon after hearing it gets shocked and stands up, he say, "But I have a sister. If I go she will be left alone."
The inspector again with the same smile says, "Don't worry, you sister will be in our protection."
"But.."
"Let's not waste time and get going." After that the man puts a handcuff on Cliffdons hand's and they start going.
They come out of the apartment and there was a huge horse cart waiting for them.
What the f**k is going on. Am I going to jail.
Cliffdon thinks.
As they were about to go inside, they notice someone. It was an old lady struggling to carry her large bag.
The man who was holding Cliffdon, goes near the helpless lady and offers her to carry her bag.
The inspector who was already inside the cart was looking at something else. Cliffdon who sees the opportunity starts running.
He runs as fast as he can, hitting on multiple people and crashing on different objects.
He takes a narrow pathway through the buildings and keeps on going.
As he looks behine, he is relieved to find no one following him. He stops and takes a deep sigh, he thinks (I need to hide.)
He starts walking slowly. As he walks he feels uneasy, his heart starts beating heavily and he fells like throwing up.
He falls on the ground, help... He thinks.
His body starts shacking, there is nothing he can do. As his eyes are about to close, he sees a man looking at him from far and then he faints.
Cliffdon opens his eyes.
Ah... He says.
Cliffdon wonders where am I? He was standing.
Not on the floor nor on platform, but he was standing at the edge of a narrow rock. He panics, and looks down there were lots sharp rocks pointing at him.
He starts breathing heavily and starts felling scared. Suddenly, the rocks starts getting destroyed. Cliffdon panics, it was going down, and before he could do anything he falls.
He was falling, he was going to get destroyed by the sharp rock, and as he was about to hit it..
Time stops.
"...."
"What's going on." He says.
He is now trapped in a very unusual world.
The sky is purple and the moon is dark.
Lots of rocks are there on the floor, and nothing could be seen from far.
Cliffdon wonders around, suddenly he fells someone's presence from behind. He looks, his eyes are shocked and he is curious.
It was Hiroshi Arisawa, his original body standing behind. "W..ait.." Cliffdon shivers.
Suddenly he starts getting memories of something.
The body of a 23 year old Japanese man, With long hair and sharp eyes, living in Tokyo with both of his parents. Dropped out of highschool and socially bullied. Arisawa who is completely fed up of it, always stays calm and now works as a security guard. One day during his night shift he finds a robber stealing a bag from a woman, unable to stay calm he starts chasing him.
He chases him for a long time and after that the robber stops as the road was finished.
The robber panics and takes out a sharp knife from his hoodie, and before he could to anything the robber stabs him nine times on his stomach.
Arisawa falls on the ground, the robber runs away leaving him behine, and before he could say anything his eyes are closed.
What was that? Cliffdon is breathing heavily,
he is still in that same purple place. He is holding something. What is this? He checks, a knife.
The same knife which he was holding when he came to that world. His hands starts shacking and it starts moving. The knife starts coming closer to his neck, he could do nothing. He trys hard but he can't, and before he could to anything, he cuts himself.
Cliffdon wakes up screaming.
He looks he was in his own apartment lying on his sofa.
What was that? He questioned.
"You are finally awake." The inspector steps in.
Cliffdon confused asks, "What are you doing here, and what's going on."
"Inspector Hangson used his Divine power Nightmare, to check if you were lying." The man suddenly appears out of nowhere.
"And I think you have passed the test." Inspector Hangson says.
"What to you mean by Divine power." Cliffdon asks.
"You will find out soon." As inspector Hangson gives a smirk.
"For now we will be leaving, but the fact remains the same you are in danger." Inspector Hangson says.
"We will be keeping an eye on you. But for now, here." Inspector Hangson gives a card on Cliffdons hand and says, "This is our base location, it's the safest place for you. We will be waiting."
And after that both of them leave.
Cliffdon stays quite, for a moment and says,
"Today was a crazy day."
Next day comes, Sara goes to school. Cliffdon after finishing everything decides to visit the place once. He gets ready and goes out. It was a one hour walk, pretty far from his apartment. He takes lots of narrow path and reaches a place. He is shock to see that the place was that one library located on the slums.
He goes inside and sees the man waiting for him. "Uh.. is this.."
"I was waiting for you." The man replies.
"Follow me." The man says.
Cliffdon confused decides to follow the old man anyways. The man takes him to a room, it was not like a room. It was like a small cabinet used to give things.
Cliffdon worried asks, "Uh.. what are we doing?"
The man with a smile replies, "wanna see a magic." The room starts shacking for some seconds and then it stops.
The door opens, and then the man says,
"Now you may go, young man."
Cliffdon goes out it was a big clean room, flowers were kept on pots and there was a big counter there. A young lady was in charge, she was sleeping.
Cliffdon goes near her and says,
"um.. excuse me miss."
The woman suprised with the sudden encounter, wakes up in a panic and says,
"Ahh! I am sorry sir I'll get back to work.."
Cliffdon is suprised, so is the woman.
She takes a sigh and says, "How can I help you Mister."
"Um.. I was actually called by your inspector." Cliffdon says.
"Inspector.. oh, yes you must be Mr. Williams." The woman says.
"Come, follow me." She starts leading the the way. She opens a very large door and Cliffdon starts following her.
The place was huge, it was like a huge auditorium. Lots of people were walking.
What place is this? Cliffdon thinks.
Finally they reach the place, the woman says that this is the inspectors room and tells him to go inside.
He says ok, and then the woman leaves. Cliffdon nervously knocks at the door.
A familiar voice tells him to come inside.
Cliffdon slowly opens the door and as he looks, the inspector was sitting on the chair leaning on the table. He smiles and says,
"Welcome, Mr. Williams. To our secret place."
