Chapter 168 - The Third Type of Perpetual Motion Machine and the Second Type of Star Particle

"I heard you left with Lord Su Mo. Since you and Miss Saber are both here, doesn't that mean Lord Su Mo is also here?"

Seeing that everyone had quieted down, March 7th asked.

"That's right, that's right! Where is Father? Also, could you be Stepmom Number Three that Father found outside?" Stelle also asked curiously.

"?"

Hearing Stelle's audacious words, Seele's eyes widened.

Lord Su Mo has a daughter this big? And what does she mean by 'stepmom'?

With a smack, March 7th patted Stelle on the head.

"Ahaha, don't mind her! Stelle's head has a few screws loose. She often spouts nonsense, so please don't mind it... But speaking of which, do you really have no relationship with Lord Su Mo?"

After explaining, March 7th asked in a seemingly casual tone.

"Of course not." Seele immediately shook her head. "I owe Lord Su Mo a great deal of kindness. Right now, it's mainly a debtor-creditor relationship. As for other relationships, not yet..."

As she spoke, she muttered under her breath, "At least, not yet."

"Hmm? What do you mean by 'for now'?" March 7th's eyes widened, and she instinctively became nervous.

"Ahem!"

Seele avoided her, Bronya, and Stelle's probing gazes, picked up Cocolia, and walked towards the back.

"Lord Su Mo is just behind. He seems to be discussing something with Miss Herta. Let's go over now."

"Hey! Miss Seele! You still haven't explained what 'at least not yet' means!"

Seele's figure fled as fast as a rabbit. March 7th immediately chased after her, seemingly intending to get to the bottom of it.

Watching Stelle cheer and dash off shouting "Daddy," and Bronya chasing after Seele's back, Dan Heng shook his head speechlessly and brought up the rear of the group.

Not long after, after crossing the deserted snowy path, the group quickly found Su Mo.

There was no need for Seele to lead the way, nor for Artoria to activate her Master Radar. The sound of their discussion was impossible to hide in the quiet snowy plains.

"The basic structural model of the Stellaron has been analyzed, but I haven't figured out the internal core structure yet. It has the characteristics of both a material body and an energy body simultaneously. What kind of magical substance is this?"

The Herta puppet handed the experimental results she had just obtained to Su Mo, then looked curiously at his records.

As a Stellaron, an aggregate of primordial Imaginary Energy that could adapt to the energy of various Paths and frequencies, the basic material unit that composed it was even more mysterious than its physical model.

At least, in her previous research, she had never been able to truly unravel the secrets of the Stellaron.

Even now that she had the model, she only knew what the internal structure of the Stellaron looked like, not what substance it was made of.

If Su Mo wanted to mass-produce Stellarons, no matter what method he used, he had to know the basic material unit that composed them.

And from the looks of it, he seemed to have solved this problem from the very beginning?

"Star Particles."

Facing Herta, Su Mo revealed the results of his research without any concealment.

This was the result he had obtained from exploring the nature of the Stellaron on Stelle that day.

"To be precise, it's the second type of Star Particle. This particle has a triple structure simultaneously. It is a material body, an energy body, and a stellar body."

"A stellar body?"

Hearing Su Mo say this, Herta showed a very interested expression.

This was something she had never heard of before. With Su Mo, she always seemed to be able to find research points that interested her.

"It's a spiritual structure used to regulate the operation of Imaginary Energy, existing between a pure information body and an energy body, responsible for the expression and transmission of concepts," Su Mo briefly introduced.

For Herta, this was enough.

"It sounds a lot like Memokeepers! I've done research in this area!"

As a genius renowned throughout the galaxy, she had also dealt with the Garden of Recollection and had thus mastered the use of Memoria and the encapsulation technology of Light Cones.

Hearing Su Mo's words, she felt that Memokeepers were very similar to the stellar bodies he described. The principle of Memoria was to express pure information-body memories through Memokeepers, and Light Cones could even directly weave memories into specific energy circulation cycles to be used as weapons.

"Come to think of it, the structural characteristics of a Stellaron do seem very similar to Memokeepers. Could this thing be related to Fuli, the Aeon of Remembrance?" Herta asked curiously.

Although she didn't know why the Aeon of Destruction pursued Stellarons, through the combination of her and Su Mo's research, they had already completely ruled out the possibility that Stellarons were creations of the Aeon of Destruction.

Rather than being the Cancer of All Worlds, it was more like an abused energy source itself. The Stellaron itself had no destructive properties. The reason it always caused disasters was purely due to the shadow of human nature.

"No, it should be unrelated."

"Star Particles are just a conventional structure for expressing information concepts. Like energy bodies and material bodies, they are a fundamental structure of the universe and are unrelated to the Aeons."

"As for the Memokeepers you mentioned, I've seen them a few times in your office. From a conclusive standpoint, they do indeed fall into the category of Star Particles, but they should belong to the third type of Star Particle."

As he spoke, Su Mo opened his palm, and a blank Memoria appeared in his hand.

In the days he spent researching with Herta, he had dabbled in the powers of various Paths, naturally including the Aeon of Remembrance.

Herta's research was completely open to him, so many of the powers Herta had studied, Su Mo could easily reproduce in his own way, and had even optimized and improved them several times.

Let alone Memoria, the current Su Mo could easily hand-craft Light Cones.

For him, who had long since mastered Star Particles and could hand-craft gods, these technologies were almost effortless.

"The third type of Star Particle?"

Herta poked the Memoria in Su Mo's hand and asked curiously, "What's the classification standard for this? I remember you just said that the Stellaron is composed of the second type of Star Particle?"

No wonder my research on Stellarons using the methods for Memokeepers completely failed. So the two structures are so different.

"Star Particles are a structure that exists between an information body and an energy body, responsible for expressing information and concepts."

To Herta's confusion, Su Mo patiently explained.

"However, just like the rich and diverse material and energy bodies, stellar bodies also have various structural differences. Broadly, I have classified them based on their degree of interference with energy bodies."

"The third type of Star Particle obtains energy from the surrounding environmental information and ensures material self-circulation through energy input. This energy absorption method can be seen as a perpetual motion machine of the third kind. It draws energy from the star chart itself and, in principle, does not strictly violate the laws of thermodynamics."

If one considered the entropy reduction in matter, a perpetual motion machine of the third kind would be declared an unrealizable scientific fantasy. But considering the conversion of energy and matter, and Poincaré recurrence, a perpetual motion machine of the third kind was not absolutely impossible, it just might require the resources of the entire universe.

"I understand what you mean."

Hearing Su Mo's introduction, Herta immediately drew inferences.

"So, the second type of Star Particle is a perpetual motion machine of the second kind that violates the second law of thermodynamics and can utilize energy with 100% efficiency and repeatedly?"

"You could put it that way." Su Mo nodded. "Just like the source of an Aeon's power, if one can completely master this structure, one can obtain a perpetual motion machine with an upper limit equal to the total heat of the universe."

If Maxwell's demon could be established and a perpetual motion machine of the second kind could become a reality, interstellar civilization would never suffer an energy crisis again.

Even the conclusion that the universe will inevitably be destroyed could very well be reversed.

After all, if even entropy reduction could be violated, then the Aeon of Destruction, who accelerates entropy reduction, would have no reason to exist.

Of course, due to power limitations, even the existence of a small number of second-type Star Particles was not enough to truly reverse the fate of the universe.

For now, this structure was just a toy for the Aeons.

"If we follow your classification, then not only the Stellaron, but even the essence of an Aeon's power, the Path, would also be composed of the second type of Star Particle?"

With Herta's intelligence, she could see the other conclusions hidden behind this speculation at a glance.

If Su Mo's guess was true, then the entries about Aeons would no longer be abstract philosophical incarnations. Their fundamental existence structure could even be analyzed.

If that could really be done, then the Aeons would no longer be high and mighty gods, but would be considered a special type of life, just like those native gods on planets.

This was a historic discovery that could shake the entire galaxy, even more shocking than Su Mo's previous talk of creating an Aeon.

"Theoretically, yes. It hasn't been verified yet."

Su Mo gave a very humble answer.

He had once analyzed the essence of gods and obtained the third type of Star Particle by analyzing myths.

If the Aeons were, as he speculated, the result of the transmutation of native gods, then the structural difference between the two might be the difference between the third and second types of Star Particle.

"..."

Herta fell silent.

Although it wasn't the first time, she once again felt the gap in talent.

You haven't even started creating an Aeon, and you've already stripped them bare?

Not only have you analyzed their origins clearly, but you've even figured out their existential structure?

After a few seconds of silence, she finally composed herself and looked up again.

"Then what about the first type of Star Particle? Don't tell me you've already invented a perpetual motion machine of the first kind!"
