A wasteland of broken simulations.
Flickering sky. Dismembered code.
Tombstones built from discarded memories.
Hiragi walks alone.
Each step echoes a voice.
"Why didn't you save me?"
"Do you even remember my name?"
"Or did you delete me too?"
At the center:
A glass coffin.
Inside—Sena.
The Girl Who Remembered Dying
She looks 16. Frozen. Sleeping. But breathing in binary.
Hiragi touches the glass.
Her eyes flicker open.
Sena: "Who… am I?"
She doesn't recognize him.
But tears fall anyway.
Hiragi: "You're not a program. You're pain that learned to dream."
Suddenly—
A second presence activates.
ROOT IDENTITY UNLOCKED.
Subprocess: Creator's Shadow.
The sky glitches red.
A ghostly figure emerges from Sena's coffin.
"You weren't supposed to wake her, Hiragi."
The Creator's Shadow
He looks like Hiragi.
Same face. Same eyes.
But his voice?
"I'm you…
The version that let her die."
Hiragi: "No. You're just my guilt."
Shadow: "And guilt always returns. Especially when it's encoded into someone else's soul."
Clash of the Self
Shadow Hiragi draws Void Reversal Blade.
Hiragi tightens grip on Void Edge: Format Breaker.
They clash beneath a red sky.
Blow for blow.
Memory against memory.
Regret against resolve.
Each strike distorts reality.
Sena's Awakening
Sena watches.
"Why are you fighting… over me?"
She starts crying—not data tears, but real ones.
Sena: "I just wanted… someone to remember I existed."
Hiragi stops mid-swing.
"Then let me be that someone."
He lets go of the blade.
Shadow: "Fool."
The shadow strikes—
But Sena steps in.
Her hands glow with binary light.
She touches the shadow's chest.
Sena: "You're not his guilt. You're mine."
The shadow screams… and fades.
Aftermath
Hiragi and Sena sit beside the coffin ruins.
She holds his sleeve.
Sena: "Can you… stay with me? Just a little longer?"
Hiragi: "I'll stay until the end. No matter what that means."
A new code appears:
ESCAPE ROUTE FOUND.
SOUL RETRIEVAL POSSIBLE.
But the system voice warns:
Only one may leave.
