In light of the joyous tidings and the celebrated resolution of the recent matter, Mara extended to me an invitation to return to our native town, to partake in the unveiling of both the newly restored artworks and her own exquisite creations.
Upon our arrival from the railway station, we did not try to seek out accommodations. Rather, we proceeded forthwith to the gallery. We arrived in due time, and after a brief interval of contemplation and speeches, the three esteemed artworks were at last revealed. Casting my eyes upon my sister to behold her reaction, I discerned a countenance hidden with pride and delight at the magnificent spectacle before her.
Then, to our great delight, the assembly turned towards her, bestowing upon her a resounding applause for her steadfast dedication. She had become quite abashed at this sudden admiration, whilst laughing in the face of such attention. I, on the contrary, enjoyed every moment of it.
