Chapter 49 - The Assassin with No Cursed Energy

"No cursed energy. No restrictions. No honor. No equal."

—Jujutsu Black File: Codename "Sorcerer Killer"

Flashback: Tokyo's Hidden Ward, 15 Years Ago

Akashi's world twisted, all washed out like a dream, like someone dropped a watercolor in a puddle. Everything looked faded, ancient, except for the cursed signatures. Those pulsed, sharp and alive, like a fresh cut.

And then, right there—Toji Fushiguro.

Dude looked like trouble in a human form. Hair slicked back, eyes half-closed like he just rolled outta bed, but actually? He noticed everything. Black jacket hanging loose, sword sheath tossed across his back like he barely cared. This Guy practically radiated a AURA like how to say..mmmm..yeah I got it, It's like .."don't mess with me." unless you have a death wish.....

Underground Auction — Curse Dealer's Den

Stone halls packed with creeps hawking curses and relics. Toji just ghosted through, nobody the wiser. No cursed energy, so their spooky radars couldn't even ping him.

He stopped at a glass orb, the thing buzzing with some tracking sigil—locked onto the Star Plasma Vessel. One nod. Deal done.

"Time to collect," he mumbled, barely moving his lips.

Meanwhile — Amanai Riko's Hideout

Gojo Satoru, upside-down on a hotel couch, Infinity flickering around his head like some cosmic hula hoop. Geto Suguru, arms folded, staring out the window like he was auditioning for a moody indie film.

"Two attacks in three hours," Geto muttered. "Both amateur. Are they Baiting us?"

Riko, probably bored out of her mind, whacked Gojo with a cushion. "Why do I need to merge with this Tengen guy anyway?"

Gojo just grinned. "Ask the higher-ups. They love sticking people to stuff. Especially ideas."

Akashi's Memory-Walking

Akashi hovered at the edge, not just watching, he's feeling. Gojo's cursed energy? Wild, untamed, like static in a thunderstorm. Geto's? Smooth and cold, slithering like a snake in a wine glass.

"They weren't gods yet…" Akashi whispered. "Just kids."

Then something new crept in. Made the hair on his neck stand up.

Assault Begins — Toji's First Strike

Sky outside turned black, fast as thanos snapped his finger.

A cursed centipede crashed through the ceiling—immediately exploded into red mist.

Toji was there. Blades out. Totally chill.

He Didn't say a single word. He Didn't actually need to.

He's Already inside Gojo's Infinity. Guy moved so fast, Gojo's technique lagged behind. Slice—! Gojo dodged by a hair. Still, sword nicked his cheek.

"Wait—what?" Gojo blinked, blood on his fingers.

"You're not a curse user—" "But you still—"

Toji grinned, wider now. "You talk too much."

Battle — Gojo vs. Toji (Round 1)

Gojo's energy flared, reverse cursed energy crackling like a busted power line.

Toji? Already gone.

Knife zipped out of nowhere. Gojo blocked. For a second, pure rage in his eyes—Akashi had never seen that before.

Toji snatched a whipblade, sent it flying. Split Soul Katana sliced right through Gojo's defenses, grazed his ribs.

Gojo staggered.

Geto jumped in, dropped a Tamamo-no-Mae shikigami.

Toji flipped off the ceiling, twisted, and—CRACK—!

Riko dropped dead, out cold. One nerve shot. Precise as hell.

"Target secured," Toji muttered. "Now for cleanup."

Akashi's Mind Splits

Everything in Akashi's head went white-hot, like the cursed memory yanked him deeper. Suddenly he was in the room, right there as Toji raised his blade for the kill.

Akashi was frozen. Couldn't move. Could barely breathe.

"You were real," he whispered, voice shaking. "The only one they feared."

Toji turned. For half a heartbeat, he looked right at Akashi.

No way. It's Just a memory. Right?

Except, yeah, it felt real.

Backlash – Exit from Memory

Akashi snapped back as the scroll slammed shut, blood dripping from his nose. He Dropped to one knee, head spinning like he'd just drowned with cheap sake.

"This isn't a memory scroll," he gasped. "It's a cursed recording. Bounded up in death and regret."

He wiped his nose, eyes burning.

Something back there and somewhere in all that carnage is tied to him. Spiral Cult glyphs? Ancient mercs with connections to Toji's arms dealer?

Whatever it was, fate had its claws in deep.

Final Page of the Scroll (Finally Shows Itself)

A blazing sigil burned through the paper.

SPIRAL ORDER: SHINREI ZERO

A name: Sealed Glyph - Namazu no Kami: 1st Vessel Attempt.

"What the hell is this…?"
