"Glyphs don't just hold cursed energy… they hold blood. Lineage. Truths we buried because they terrified us."
—Kento Nanami, classified mission log (fished out after the fact)
Kyoto – Western Seal Vault
The tomb at Kyoto Jujutsu High finally gave up its secrets. Cracked open, bone-snap sharp, after decades of silence. Inside? All those forbidden spiral glyphs, locked away since the last time things went really sideways—the Glyph Rebellion. That got so bad, a whole generation almost blinked out.
Now, one scroll's lit up like a flare. Blood red.
Principal Gakuganji? Dude's hand shakes as he stares at it.
"Call Gojo ," he mutters, voice all gravel. "And Yaga right now.. and tell them the Spiralborn Rite's are started."
Tokyo Jujutsu High — Infirmary Wing
Nobara's out cold, hooked up to an IV drip pumping reverse cursed energy. The wound from that glyphborn freak cut way deeper than anyone guessed.
Akashi's camped out at her bedside, knuckles still showing dragon-scale that's fading slow.
"Should've got there faster," he mutters, self-loathing heavy as bricks.
Yuji's leaning on the wall, arms crossed.
"You saved her. That's what counts."
Akashi just stares at the floor.
Under Nobara's skin, a glyph that left by the hybrid's talon that glows faint, keeping tempo with her heart.
Elsewhere — The Spiral Sanctum
Bunch of masked mother fucker weirdos in a circle, blood swirling in a spiral basin.
The High Spiral Priest cranks up the drama:
"Twelve vessels. Twelve glyphs. Twelve awakenings."
The ritual's live now.
Out across the Japan, twelve poor souls they must be descendants or just unlucky enough to have spiral blood into their bloodline that start waking up to glyphs inside them.
Some'll make it and some won't. Forever....
And one? They're betting that one will either become a new Warden…
Or set off the Spiral Reckoning. No pressure.
Tokyo Subway – Abandoned Line 9 (Spiral Gate Site)
Akashi's back at the Spiral Gate. The glyphs burn, silent but screaming.
Megumi and Yuji hang back, giving him space. He can feel the worry. But more than that—trust.
He kneels by the main glyph. His name's still there, flickering.
"Ryuunosuke… Son of Fire…"
He traces the glyph's core. Something shifts. The gate stirs, but doesn't open.
His cursed energy flares, sucked right in.
"The glyphs don't just read energy," he mutters. "They read who you are."
Kyoto – First Glyph Awakening
Some random second-year at Kyoto Jujutsu High. Not special, not famous.
He screams in his sleep as glyphs carve themselves into his chest, burning.
He doesn't make it.
Tokyo Jujutsu High — Later That Night
Yaga's pacing, Gojo's slouched by a pillar, blindfold all crooked.
"It's started huh," Gojo says, grin sharp. "Spiralborn Rite and They're forcing the awakenings."
"Akashi might be the key," Yaga mutters. "But they're poking at the edges, too."
Gojo shrugs, cocky as ever.
"If they think Akashi's gonna help, they don't know him like I do."
"Then push him more, The Past whatever wall he thinks he's got."
"He doesn't have a wall," Gojo says, quieter. " And That's what freaks them out."
Dream — Akashi's Memory Spiral
He's in a burning battlefield. Ashes are everywhere, falling like dirty snow.
His mom shows up—not the dying version, the living one.
"They'll come for you," she says, smoothing his hair. "They will say you're doomed to repeat the fire."
"I'm not," Akashi whispers. "I'm rewriting it."
Behind her: a spiral of golden light. A door.
"Then wake up, Ryuunosuke," she grins. "And burn the right names."
Next Morning — Training Ground Theatre..
Akashi, shirtless, under a waterfall spiked with cursed energy with both hands together, breathing deep. Reverse cursed energy running through all of him, keeping it together.
Yuji and Megumi just watched him...
"He didn't sleep," Megumi says. "He's been doing the glyph training, internal stuff."
Yuji cracks his neck.
"We're here for him, no matter what he turns into."
"Even if he's worse than Sukuna?"
Yuji hesitates.
"If it comes to that… I'll stop him."
But honestly? They both know Akashi's not breaking.
He's spiral-forged. Tougher than whatever's coming.
Somewhere Unknown:who knows;) — Spiral Cult Codex Room
In a black vault, lined with cursed memory stones, one fired up. That's Shows Akashi's at seven and accidentally killing his first curse.
The Spiral High Priest grins behind his mask, loving the drama.
"His memories are waking," he says.
"You think he'll join us?" a cultist pipes up.
"No choice. When the twelfth glyph finishes…"
He lifts a burnt, twisted the glyph-core then....
"…we stick the final spiral in his soul."
