Sonny sat down next to Killian. His sharp gaze flickered across the room, and every eye turned on him.
Some filled with contempt and fear.
Sonny could barely hear the voices echoing amongst the table, and he wasn't aware that Killian was watching him with an unreadable expression.
His feet were kicked hard without any mercy. He grunted, but the elders across from him heard him, and one of them asked with an annoyed tone, "Are you alright?"
Sonny turned to him and, with a cold grin, said, "Why wouldn't I be?"
The elder's expression turned fierce, but he huffed and turned away.
Sonny took a deep breath. He turned to Killian, who faced him with an icy expression, and his eyes were like a deadly lake.
Then his eyes arched toward the bathroom. Sonny had a feeling what he was going to ask, and he pretended he didn't understand.
He arched his brow in confusion. Killain narrowed his eyes in slits.
