Killian could feel the angry throbbing in his chest, and he left the jail cell; the air was frigidly cold. He didn't turn back, but he turned to the guard with a demand in his voice, "Give him a blanket."
The guard raised his brow. "What? Prisoners aren't meant to have special treatment."
Killian gave him a cold expression. "Do as I say."
The guard opened his mouth as if to argue, but looking at the stern man's face, he nodded, "Alright."
He turned and left the area until he came back in a few minutes with a blanket in his arms, and he entered the cell. Killian watched him throw the blanket at the chained man, and he turned away and exited the cell.
He knew there was a meeting about discussions of what to do about Sonny. The man had lived in the sect for many years, but no one had figured out how he remained under the radar.
