"This..."

Murrue's heart sank. Though she had been prepared for him to set conditions, she hadn't expected him to demand the Strike's combat data.

Uzumi, noting her hesitation, spoke up. "I can give you time to consider, Captain Ramius. In the meantime, we will perform repairs on the Archangel, but... it will be repairs and nothing more."

Murrue knew that Orb had already made a significant concession. "Thank you very much, Mr. Uzumi."

Uzumi nodded to her, his sharp, tiger-like eyes narrowing slightly as he continued. "Through drone footage, I saw that your ship appears to have another Mobile Suit. ZAFT has given it the codename 'Wolf.' That machine shouldn't be one of the five G-series units from your military's original plan, correct?"

Murrue subconsciously looked to Mikazuki, who was sitting to her left. Mikazuki gave her a slight nod.

"Yes. That machine is the personal unit of the Mobile Suit pilot beside me, Mikazuki Augus. He comes from..."

"The ace of Tekkadan's First Combat Squad, Mikazuki Augus. The machine he pilots is the Barbatos."

Before Murrue could finish, a voice interrupted her, the sound of heavy footsteps echoing through the meeting room.

Mikazuki's pupils contracted. He snapped his gaze toward the door where a burly, serious-looking young man with thick eyebrows was slowly walking in.

Murrue's mouth hung open slightly in surprise. Then, she heard the screech of a chair being pushed back Mikazuki had stood up, his brow furrowed as he stared at the newcomer.

The young man walked up to Mikazuki, looking down at the much shorter boy. He spoke slowly. "It's been a long time, Mikazuki."

Natarle and the other two officers clearly saw that the coat this young man wore was the same style as Mikazuki's, right down to the red emblem on the back.

"Akihiro Altland?"

"Yeah."

Mikazuki's furrowed brow relaxed, replaced by a genuine smile. Opposite him, Akihiro's face broke into a similar expression.

The two raised their hands simultaneously, hooking their thumbs together as their wide palms gripped each other tightly.

"Good to see you're still alive."

"You too."

No complex words were needed; their reunion was simple and brief.

However, the four onlookers could feel the weight behind those few words and the deep brotherhood they shared. This was Tekkadan no false pretenses, only the sincere bond of family. Even those simple words were enough to illustrate the ties between them.

Murrue smiled at Mikazuki, truly happy that he had found a companion.

Releasing his hand, Mikazuki asked, "By the way, I heard rumors while I was out in the desert that you had been spotted. How did you get here?"

Mikazuki wasn't just asking how he got to Orb; he was asking how Akihiro had arrived in this world.

"Ah, it's a long story. Representative Uzumi?" Akihiro looked toward the leader.

Uzumi smiled and nodded. "Go on. Have a good talk with your comrade."

He then stood and addressed Murrue and the others. "Captain Ramius, you should also take the time to carefully consider my suggestion. As for the Barbatos... rest assured, Orb has no designs on that machine.

I only mentioned it earlier because I wanted to confirm if this boy was the person Akihiro was looking for. However, while I've told you to consider it, I hope you can give me an answer quickly. As you know, ZAFT won't believe any of our official statements."

Murrue gave Uzumi a military salute. "Understood. We will return and discuss it, then give you an answer shortly."

"Then I shall take my leave. Please, make yourselves at home."

Uzumi departed. Although he had officially resigned from his position as Chief Representative due to the incident at Heliopolis and the manufacturing of the Gundams, he remained the actual controller of Orb. Currently, the nation could not function without his leadership.

"Mika, let's go. I'll take you somewhere and tell you my story on the way."

"Okay." Mikazuki turned to Murrue, who smiled and nodded.

"No problem."

Mikazuki gave Murrue a small smile, then turned to follow his friend. "Let's go."

Following Akihiro, Mikazuki gradually gained a general understanding of how his brother had ended up there.

Akihiro's arrival had been very similar to his own. He had simply woken up to find himself in an unfamiliar land specifically, the African desert where the Desert Tiger and Desert Dawn were active.

His machine, the Gundam Gusion, had appeared in the desert with him.

However, unlike the Barbatos, the Gusion wasn't equipped with various armaments. Other than having many more functions than before, it was identical to the original Gusion. Naturally, it also lacked a Transition Device.

Akihiro had appeared in this world a bit earlier than Mikazuki, about two months ago.

At that time, Akihiro had saved Sahib Ashman while he was being pursued by ZAFT forces. After receiving supplies and help from Desert Dawn, he left the African desert and made his way to Orb on his own.

After hiding the Gusion in a remote mountain range in Orb, he entered the city. He had unintentionally revealed his incredible combat skills,

which caught the eye of the passing Uzumi. Uzumi brought him in to serve as a personal bodyguard, and through their time together, Uzumi learned of Tekkadan's existence.

However, Uzumi had been unable to find any organization by that name, and at first, he had been suspicious of Akihiro's origins.

But Uzumi trusted his own judgment of character. He felt that Akihiro was not a man with ulterior motives; the young man's gaze was far too clear for that. He allowed Akihiro to move the Gusion to a private base, and except for Uzumi's closest confidants, no one knew the Gusion existed.

That remained the case until today, when the appearance of the Archangel and the Barbatos allowed Uzumi to learn from Akihiro that these were his family members.
