Ahh kid, you slept for a very long time and scared mi a little but I'm happy you are fine... phew...
Let mi introduce you to Lydia she take care of you till pa comes.
Little flower, what is your name said the lady as she leaned forward caressing her hair, you were knocked up for almost two days. Don`t worry we are almost at shore you`d be fine, we`d report to the magistrate, at the mean time you`d stay with me.
A few more days passes and no sign of her father, few days turns into weeks and her search for her father continued, soon she became part of Lydia`s house, her constant worry for her father and questioning of her father`s whereabout was fruitless even Lydia didnt have a reply, she took her to the shores every week and rare times they meet the captain.
Soon after, the denial to leave for her home, she became the towns people of this community .
About two years later, the days ran fast and months, though everything happened inexplicable she still holds her father's memory like yesterday, becoming part of Patton's family, she was the second child with a younger brother Matt, Olivia a pretty ambitious lady, well read and strived for higher heights while Drae was simply not interested, Olivia looked just like Mrs Lydia a beautiful highborn woman who married for love, Mr Patton the royale cobbler, beautiful ginger hair, freckles and pale skin, Drae was a recognised beauty but also the opposite of her sister.. Olivia simply had no opinion about her as far as she does not stand in her way. The Patton's were kind and the lived in a better neighbourhood than where she came from
Drae , Drae , get inside with your sisters it's already late, we do not want the night to meet us.
After a few more minutes they settled in and had supper.
The community took a corner turn after five years, allot of rummored activities a laughable joke some people said only till foreigners moved in great fleets to this land was it up some believable, the magistrate has had a great plate to collect this information from the ears of the dwellers but there's no smoke without fire.
Soon the kingdom turned back ships barred their borders and soldiers patrols were tight, every district had a quarters, spreading this rumours like wild fire, this only pumped their suspicion, after months and years they adminstration laid a decree banning the tale of such rumours.
They set of curfews, patrolling and availablity of patrol barracks, the screams etc.
The administration was detailed, calming their people's with stories of bandits and rapers and of all sorts of wild animal tales they could convert, with the meticulous way things were done people stopped talking.
Drae never cared of such nonsense, she loved to read and fish in the river, she helped her father at work most times and most times she snuck to the district quarters to watch the men fight. She was very quiet sometimes thought to be mute, she never let her old habits die, most times her parents were invited to the magistrate house to address her not so lady like behaviour.
Sone they gave up on her as no matter the scolding, she just never stopped climbing and sneaking around.
They day slowly grew dark and Mr Patton returned from one of the Lord's house with jubilee, he had delivered a month's worth if work to the Lord's house but this excitement carried more than just excitement
