Chapter 9 - Chapter 9 Under the Table Rules

"I'm very sorry, Aki Tomoya, but your application to establish a club has not been approved!"

The student responsible for handling club procedures looked at Aki Tomoya with an apologetic expression. It would have been fine if he had come earlier that morning.

But just a short while ago, a sudden notice came from the principal's office. Looking at it now, it's likely that a student who wanted to start a club discovered someone else had the same idea and took a shortcut.

If it were someone incredibly upright, they might have rejected such an arrangement and simply helped Aki Tomoya with the procedures in order.

However, that outcome would only involve a little more trouble, and then the principal would remove you, and then the other party's procedures would still be completed.

Moreover, not everyone is so rigid about principles, and there's no need to be. Although the school requires that clubs of the same direction cannot be created, it doesn't enforce it strictly.

This means that as long as the name and definition deviate slightly, then even if they are actually doing the same type of thing, it is permissible.

For example, the Painting Club and the Art Club. The things they do are not entirely the same, but they overlap in many areas, and many of their members even participate in the same competitions.

However, because the direction and various conditions they declared to the school when they were established were not the same, the school agreed at that time. Even if it later became clear that they were exploiting a loophole, the school did not make any changes.

After all, being able to exploit loopholes within the rules is your ability. Since you found one, there's no need for us to block it off.

Because it's better to be a little muddled; who knows if such a need will arise in the future? Those who design rules never completely block them off.

Whether it's for flexibility when encountering future problems or for a future relative to use a back door.

After all, forcibly disbanding existing clubs to allow one's juniors to establish new ones would be a bit too overbearing.

But if it's like now, where there have already been similar actions, then even if the principal's or someone else's relative comes to establish a similar club, it will be completely ignored.

Because basically anyone can do it, as long as they're not completely clueless.

However, it's clear that both Qianshu Lian and Aki Tomoya seem to care, which is why Qianshu Lian chose to cut in line directly.

"Why?"

Aki Tomoya's expression instantly changed, and he asked with a hint of panic.

"I clearly remember that there are no game development clubs or even similar clubs in the school!"

Aki Tomoya had carefully researched Soubu High School. In its early years, the school's atmosphere was relatively strict, and it generally rejected entertainment clubs of this kind.

It wasn't until later, due to the declining birthrate, that it merged with some other schools, gradually expanding in size, and only then did the school's atmosphere undergo a drastic reversal.

It began to become more open-minded. Not to mention clubs for game production, there were even idol clubs and mahjong clubs.

However, the senior who established the game club had graduated many years ago, and unfortunately, there were no successors afterward, so the game club was forced to be abolished.

In the several years since he entered this school, there had been no successor. Why did a guy suddenly appear in the same year as him?

"I know you're in a hurry, but don't rush!" Seeing Aki Tomoya's anxious look, the senior quickly advised him.

"Although the Game Club has already been established, it's not impossible for you to establish your own club. For example, you could create something like a GG Club."

As soon as the senior spoke, Aki Tomoya instantly understood his intention. The so-called GG Club was an abbreviation.

The full name should be GalGame, which originally meant beautiful girl games, but later, with its development, it completely evolved into a game genre that both men and women could play.

It just so happened that he wanted to create this type of game, so using the abbreviation was perfectly fine.

Aki Tomoya was a bit reluctant, but his circumstances ultimately didn't allow him to do other things. After some thought, he still agreed to the senior's arrangement.

Seeing this, the senior secretly breathed a sigh of relief. Although it wouldn't be a big deal even if he hadn't persuaded him, the senior still wanted to minimize trouble.

Looking at his appearance, it could basically be concluded that he was not someone who could always control his emotions. If he lost control and started shouting here, it would also be troublesome.

And it was impossible to fully explain the matter behind it; wouldn't that directly reveal the potential transactions behind the scenes? Then he would be the one taking the blame, wouldn't he?

Fortunately, this guy was relatively easy to fool, and his goal was achieved, so he naturally wouldn't cause a scene here.

"Okay, then, please fill out this application form and give me the relevant materials, and the club registration process will be complete!"

The senior happily handed the club application form to Aki Tomoya and didn't consider it done until he saw him write "GG Club" as the club name.

"Oh, and if your club wants to avoid being abolished, it's best to find the minimum required number of members within one month!"

After collecting the application form and materials, the kind senior immediately reminded him. This was because many students who create new clubs are usually on their own.

So, in reality, it wasn't strange for him to come alone. However, the nature of the club he was creating still had the potential to result in not gathering enough members.

After all, if it's about playing games, the Arcade Club next door is a large club. Although funding might not be abundant, there's no shortage of members.

But for a game club, whether it's coding or related plot planning, those all require a certain level of specialized knowledge.

For high school students, while it's not entirely impossible, such individuals are extremely rare. Moreover, there's also the Game Club established by Qianshu Lian.

The already scarce human resources now had another competitor, making the chances of him gathering enough members even smaller.

While it wasn't impossible to have friends or others help fill in, they wouldn't help you make games. This means that if he truly couldn't gather enough people, then this venture couldn't be expanded.

Then the establishment of this new club would truly just be his delusion.
