> Boss's POV
I saw him.
The boy with shy eyes and secondhand shoes.
Sea.
He didn't belong here. Not in my school, not walking on the marble floors my father built, not breathing the same air as me.
But he did.
Because of that damn scholarship.
I watched him the whole day. From the moment he walked into the hallway like he was trying to disappear… to the way he smiled at Van — my best friend's boyfriend.
I hated it.
I hated how soft he looked. I hated that I noticed. I hated that the more I stared, the more I wanted to break something.
Or maybe break him.
"Why do you keep staring at him?" Nick asked.
I didn't answer.
I just clenched my jaw and looked away, pretending his name didn't taste too good on my tongue.
But that boy...
He's a problem.
And problems?
I don't ignore them.
I own them.
And Sea... he just became mine.
