"Alright, everyone. Take your seats," Iruka sensei instructed everyone as he stepped onto the teaching platform.
Everyone obeyed and soon sat on their seats. The previous noise died down.
"Alright, first of all. Congratulations to everyone for becoming a Genin. As you all are aware that as Genins, you would now be able to participate in D and C-level missions while being accompanied by your teacher, who's going to be of Jonin level."
Iruka sensei said and lifted the clipboard he was holding in his hand.
"Now I'll be calling out your three-man team, so raise your hand and say 'yes' after the names of all three members from your team have been called, understand?"
"Yes, sir!" The whole class responded in unison.
Iruka nodded, hearing it and then began calling out names one by one.
"Team 1 would be...Albert Chou, Mia Takahara, and Oda Kagura,"
"Yes, sir!" The team responded to their names.
Sasuke glanced at the three people he had never seen or heard about. It was not only them.
From Team 1 to Team 6 were all the classmates Sasuke had never read about in the manga or seen in the anime.
He glanced at all of them with an interested expression on his face.
'Who knows, there might just be a hidden talent hiding among them,' Sasuke thought to himself.
"..Now Team 7...It's Haruno Sakura, Uchiha Sasuke, and Naruto Uzumaki."
"Yes, sir!" the three of them replied in unison and sat down on their seats.
While Iruka sensei was announcing the next team, Sakura was busy gawking at Sasuke with enamoured eyes.
'We are in the same team! Bingo!' She was dancing in her mind with excitement as various fantasies started playing in there.
'Yes! Sakura is in the same team as me! I can finally get closer to her, though I hate the fact that Sasuke is in my team as well,' Naruto snorted his nose when he looked at Sasuke, who was still maintaining his cool pose.
His gaze then fell upon Sakura, who was looking towards Sasuke with loving eyes.
'Just you wait! I'll teach you a lesson during the lunch break!' Naruto clenched his fists in anger.
Meanwhile, Sasuke was keeping an eye on Naruto from the corner of his eye.
Seeing him glaring towards him, he knew what was coming for him in the afternoon.
'Looks like he'll try to subdue me again,' Sasuke thought to himself as the image of Sasuke being bound by Naruto in a toilet appeared in his mind.
'I'm sorry, Naruto, but I have no intention of experiencing that,' Sasuke firmly set his mind and thought of a counterattack.
Soon, Iruka sensei had finished with the team allocation, and after lecturing them about other specific details, he wished them all luck and left the class.
The moment he left, Sasuke stood up and walked out of the classroom.
"Sasu-" Sakura wanted to ask him to eat lunch with her, but hesitated at the last second, and by then Sasuke had left the classroom.
She sighed in disappointment, but from the corner of her eye, she saw Naruto going in the same direction in which Sasuke had gone with a grin on his face.
A furrow formed on her face, seeing this, and she decided to follow after him.
'He won't dare to make trouble for Sasuke, right? If he does, I'll make sure to beat him in patties!'
Sakura fumed internally and entered the corridor to follow after Naruto.
Sasuke soon reached the first floor and walked towards a secluded direction. It was only after five minutes that he stopped and turned around.
"I know you've been following me, Naruto. Come out!" Sasuke shouted.
Gritting his teeth in frustration, Naruto came out of the wooden pillar where he was hiding.
"Tch," Naruto clicked his tongue and said, "You found me, it's not fun now."
"Why were you following me?" Sasuke asked.
"Hah? Why can't I follow you? Is there a rule that says that I can't?" Not wanting to reveal his earlier intentions, Naruto started an argument.
Seeing through his motive, Sasuke decided to corner him, "You wanted to trap me, didn't you?"
While he asked this, he walked a few steps towards him to pressure him.
"W-what rubbish are you talking about?" Naruto hesitated and averted his eyes.
Seeing this, Sasuke walked even closer while saying, "Not only that...you wanted to take my disguise afterwards and seek Sakura out...didn't you?"
Naruto's eyes widened in shock as he took a few steps back. However, he lost his balance and fell on his butt the next moment.
"H-how did you know about it?" Naruto asked in disbelief. He couldn't figure out how Sasuke was able to figure out his plan, which he had just made up earlier.
'Naruto wanted to disguise himself as Sasuke and meet me?!' Sakura, who had been hiding behind the staircase, was shocked when she heard this. She clenched her hands in anger as hatred towards Naruto flashed in her eyes.
"Give up," Sasuke said plainly.
"H-huh? What do you mean?" Naruto asked in a confused manner, as this was not the answer he was looking for.
"Give up on Sakura. I know you like her, but it's clear as day that she doesn't like you. So stop bothering her," Sasuke advised with goodwill.
'Bro Hinata is already head over heels for you, if the two of you get together earlier, then it would not need to go through such emotional torments,' this was the reasoning Sasuke had in mind.
However, Naruto didn't see this as goodwill but a blatant intrusion into his personal affairs.
"Who the hell are you to tell me to give up on her?!" Naruto roared in anger and rushed towards Sasuke with the clear intention of hitting him.
Seeing this, Sasuke first panicked, but he soon realised that his body was able to quickly react to Naruto's attack, and he did exactly so.
A kick landed right on Naruto's left cheek, and the next moment, his body slapped against the wall on the other side.
'Whoa, this body is so powerful!' Sasuke exclaimed at the result.
Argh!
Naruto groaned and fell down on the ground in pain. However, before he could recover his bearing, Sasuke grabbed his hand from behind and, while putting it in a locked position, sat over Naruto's back.
ARGHH!
"G-Get off me, you bastard!" Naruto managed to mumble out of his mouth in pain.
However, Sasuke just ignored his words.
"You asked who the hell I am to tell you to give up on Sakura, right? I'll answer that question of yours then. I'm the person who's going to marry Sakura in the future."
Sasuke declared with the clear intention of making Naruto give up on Sakura here and then.
Meanwhile, Sakura, who had been secretly peeking at the fight which was going on between Naruto and Sasuke, was stunned by Sasuke's sudden declaration.
'M-maryy me?!!!'
Her whole face turned tomato red the very next moment, and her mind blanked out completely a few seconds later, overloaded with the images of her and Sasuke marrying each other.
