Chapter 17 - Chapter 17 Home

Back to home

I reach to my city with Noah I go home

"I am back home" I say

Both my parents stepped outside with serious expressions as I approached the house.

"you are not picking up our calls. where are you?" Dad asked, eyes sharp.

I scratched my head, avoiding his gaze. "I… went on a journey. To gain knowledge. Mmm…"

Without waiting for a reply, I walked past them into the house. But I could tell—they knew I was hiding something.

Inside, the house was as it had always been. Even the parents' bedroom looked untouched… like nothing had ever happened.

"Oh, and I brought a rabbit," I said casually, pointing to the white fur ball hopping near the door. "He's my pet now."

Luckily, there were no images of me during the battle with Kai. The footage had been shot from too far away—my face was barely visible. I was safe, for now.

The Next Morning

Today was a holiday. Sunday

I walked down to the local restaurant, slipping into the familiar rhythm of work. Cleaning tables, taking orders, serving customers—it was peaceful, almost surreal after everything that had happened.

Then a voice broke the routine.

"Hi… are you sam?" I asked, glancing at the boy sitting at the corner table.

He looked shocked. I usually ignored him, but today, for the first time, I spoke.

"Hi," he replied cautiously.

I finished my shift and stepped outside. That's when Noah appeared silently beside me. He gave me a small nod, then gestured for me to follow.

We walked through the quiet streets until he led me to an ATM. I entered behind him, and Noah handed me a card.

It was Aelira's.

He then typed in a password without a word.

The screen flickered… and my eyes widened.

The account balance was—

When I looked at the ATM screen, my eyes widened.

Over a 2 billion dollars.

No wonder she could afford such expensive things.

I stared at the card, then at Noah.

"…I'll use this money to help people," I whispered. "And starting now, I'm done with part-time jobs."

The Next Morning – Monday

I walked through the school gates. Everyone stared.

My hair was styled differently. My once dark eyes now blue. I didn't look like the same person.

One boy, the one who always asked questions I used to ignore, cautiously approached me.

"You… you usually ignore me, but…"

"If you have a doubt, I'll help you solve it," I said with a soft smile. "Ask after class."

He blinked in shock.

Today felt different. Something had changed in me.

I sat in class, eyes on the window, lost in thought. When the teacher entered, everyone stood up—except me.

Oliver doing training with kan he also now controlling his ultimate form but what jack doing

"Kian," a familiar voice said, firm and commanding. "Do I have to tell you personally?"

I turned.

My heart nearly jumped.

"Jack…?"

He was our teacher now.

"Next time, don't make me remind you," Jack said, walking to the board.

Ones upon a time jack trying to kill me

Jack is my teacher now he didn't get any other school or collage

Class began. A boy tossed a paper plane toward a girl across the room. Without even turning fully, Jack snapped his fingers and threw a piece of chalk—it struck the boy's forehead perfectly.

"Focus," Jack said calmly.

Later, I raised my hand. "Sir, may I go to the washroom?"

"Go," Jack nodded.

I stepped into the corridor, letting the cool air brush against my face.

That's when I saw her.

A girl walking alone. Long dark hair. Gentle steps. Familiar presence.

"Aelira…?"

She turned, confused.

"How… how do you know my name?" she asked, blinking.

I froze.

This was her. The real Aelira.

She wasn't a clone. She was reborn—just as Master Kan said.

"I found you," I whispered to myself.

My wife… from a past life.

I clenched my fists. I wouldn't let her die again. Never.

I smile and say "did you like tea".

There are only five years left… to save the world.
