The doctors stood frozen behind the queen's bed, their faces heavy with helplessness.
The king's voice thundered through the chamber, "Why did you become doctors if you don't even know how to treat her?"
His words echoed, sharp with grief and fury.
No one answered. The only sound was the queen's shallow, rasping breath.
Just then, a guard from the throne room entered, bowed quickly, and said, "Your Majesty… the newcomers… they say they can save the queen. They request to speak with you."
The king's eyes flared with a flicker of hope. "Bring them here. Now!" he ordered without hesitation.
Moments later, the strange family was led into the queen's chamber. The man, still trembling, stepped forward. Behind him stood his wife and three children — their eyes glowing with something ancient, something unknowable.
The king looked at him sharply. "You said you can save her. Do it. And if you're lying—"
"We're not," the man interrupted gently. "But… our way is not your way. If we do this, things will change."
Torn between fear and hope, the king hesitated—but still, he asked them to save his wife.
