It was about five minutes later when Shen Yi walked back into the villa. Jiang Qi was still sitting at the same place as if nothing had changed since Shen Yi left.
Shen Yi took a slow breath before walking toward him. A small smile appeared on his lips, but it didn't reach his eyes. It was the kind of smile one wore to hide exhaustion. He sat down beside Jiang Qi again.
"Are you fine?" he asked Jiang Qi quietly.
Jiang Qi didn't move for a few seconds even after the question and only looked at Shen Yi with unreadable eyes. Then he picked up his tablet from the table and began typing. After a moment, he turned it around for Shen Yi to see.
It said: 'You didn't tell me who he was.'
Shen Yi pressed his lips together, his eyes dropping for a second. Then he looked up again and answered softly, "He's your friend and business partner."
