The Cheng Family doesn't have rules about not speaking during meals, but Cheng and his father, along with Cheng Jinyun, aren't talkative people.
So at the dining table, it was mostly Lin Xiang and Aunt Cheng who occasionally chatted.

"I heard from Ah Yun that you plan to open a small restaurant? Didn't he already transfer Quanfu Building to your name? Why do you still want to open a restaurant on your own?"

"Opening a small restaurant is a shared wish of my mom and me. I'm currently studying at university in Beijing, and my mom wants to stay here with me. If she doesn't have something to do, I'm afraid she'll overthink things and become idle and wasted. Moreover, we have experience running a stall back in Mianyang Town, so opening a small restaurant is a piece of cake for us."
