After finishing the dumplings, Ge Yuanyi urged Lin Xiang to hurry home.
"You saw earlier, I have other roommates in my dorm, so I won't be scared at night. After I finish registration tomorrow, I'll officially start classes, so you don't have to go out of your way to check on me. If there's anything I can't handle, I'll reach out to you."
"After all, you're my good friend, I won't be shy with you."
"It's best if you think that way."
Lin Xiang paid for the dumplings, "Then I'll head back first. When you have a break this Friday, come over to my place, alright?"
After saying goodbye to Lin Xiang, Ge Yuanyi returned to her dorm.
She took off her shoes, ready to lie down for a nap, when her roommate from the next bed sat right down on her bed, as if not noticing her slightly tired look, and asked matter-of-factly, "Ge Yuanyi, the girl who came with you earlier, she's your friend, right?"
"Yeah. She's a student at Huaqing University."
