Felicity Sterling's face flushed red, and tears uncontrollably rolled from her eyes, "I will never like you."
Spoiled since childhood, Felicity Sterling could hardly endure such "humiliation" from Ethan Grant in public.
"Good!" Mrs. Sterling steadied herself, suppressing her anger. She stabilized her posture and laughed sinisterly.
"Mr. Grant, you truly are deeply devoted to Miss Sullivan!"
"Then I wish Mr. Grant and Miss Sullivan a long life together!"
As Mrs. Sterling spoke, her overbearing smile made everyone feel uncomfortable.
"Mrs. Preston, could you lead us to the main hall for a meal?"
Mrs. Sterling then addressed Mrs. Preston.
"Of course." Mrs. Preston smiled, choosing to overlook the earlier incident, "Mrs. Sterling, right this way."
Mrs. Sterling led Felicity Sterling away from the garden, followed gradually by the other noblewomen.
As they left, they deliberately glanced at Serena Sullivan a couple of times.
