Without pressing the call button, Sean Lockwood looked in shock at Carter Lockwood, who was blatantly lying with his eyes wide open.
"Uncle!"
He called out incredulously.
"I didn't see her kick anyone."
Carter looked at the girl next to Serena Sullivan, making it clear.
Zoe Quinn jumped down by herself, and it had nothing to do with Serena Sullivan.

Anna Morgan nodded repeatedly, how come she hadn't thought to say that!
After she spoke, she turned and gave Carter a smile.
Carter felt a warmth in his heart, Anna's smile made him think his lie was well worth it.

To make Anna happy, Carter added another sentence.
"I know you like Miss Quinn, but you can't just falsely accuse people."
This was completely the posture of a senior lecturing a junior.
