Chapter 1 - First of many, First of few

Rosin came crashing down on the planet making a crater of immense size, causing a shockwave that eradicated multiple species of plants and animals causing mass extinctions. Tsunamis started to form as volcanic activity started to increase and the skies grew dark from smoke, purple lighting stretched across the sky and islands were ravaged by waves and swallowed by the oceans. Rosin, a gelatinous humanoid, with a somehow chiseled jaw line and of turquoise hue, laid at the bottom of the newly formed crater. Its left arm leaking out whatever substance laid beneath its thick translucent skin. It stared up at the universe with only one eye because the left side of its head was almost completely gone, the chunks either evaporated as it broke through the atmosphere or lay splattered across the crater floor. Felix another humanoid creature with light brown skin, elvish facial features, deep purple eyes and long white breaded hair teleported in front of Rosin, looking down at it as it started get up and slowly healing its wound and regenerating the left side of its head.

"So, I'm guessing I finally passed this time?" Felix said with a grin exposing his shark like teeth.

"Now what makes you think that?" Rosin replied speaking with a southern drawl.

"Because half your head is scattered around our feet, and you said once I was to able shatter your skin I would be done with my training. Then you would officially transfer the title of Grimm Reaper to me." Felix stated with enthusiasm as the grin on his face grew wider and wider. Rosin, now fully healed, started looking around then held out its tentacle like arm with the palm facing the smoke covered sky. Three glowing orbs came out of its palm and floated up to the sky and get sweep away by the strong winds being taken to other location on the planet. It then looked at Felix and asked. "You remember our first fight in Sylinonet?"

"Yeah, the one where you took a dive after beating the shit out of me." Felix Replied as his grin slowly faded.

"You had it since then" Rosin stated as he started stretching.

Felixs grin now completely gone and replaced with a look of confusion and annoyance " What the fuck have I been doing th.." Felixs question was cut short by Rosins answer " There are a lot of strange and powerful beings out in the universe and about one fourth of them want the title you possess. Back then you were far too weak to even put up a fight against the weakest of them. I wasn't going to just throw you to the wolves so, I trained you."

"oh" Felix replied being humbled by Rosins words.

"Don't feel bad your black magic is truly something special and even back then I knew that you had the ability to become even stronger than myself." Rosin said to reinsure Felix.

The grin on Felix's face grew back even wider now than before as he materialized a pure black butterfly knife and started flipping it around, the blade so sharp it seemed to slice through the air itself. "Nervous?" Rosin asked as he watched Felix twirl and spin his knife faster and faster.

"Just a little bit, I've been waiting for this day to come ever since we first met, and now it's finally happened I'm officially the Grimm Reaper!" Felix exclaimed as he swung his knife close, and it dematerialized.

"Well technically you already had the title for about 10,000 years but I'm glad you're happy." Rosin said with a grin.

"I'm GlAd YoU'rE hApPy." Felix mocked Rosin rolling his eyes, his face lit up a bright turquoise as Rosin start glowing.

"Oh it seems like my probes have found suitable places to take root. So have you thought about what you want to do now that your training is complete?" Rosin asked as it slowly started to sink into the ground.

Felix then pointed up to the completely blacked out sky as a bolt of lightning came down striking his fingertip. "You see that planet, I'm going there." he exclaimed.

Rossie looked up. "Thought as much, I'm sure you'll have a fun time. I won't keep you waiting, but just one word of advice. There are abominations in this universe that neither want nor need a title. It would be best to avoid them, or better yet, befriend the monsters." Rosin said with stern look on his face.

"well do!" Felix exclaimed as he threw up two fingers in the peace sign "See ya!" was his last words to Rosin as he teleported off the planet. Rosin stared up to where Felix had pointed at. "Like a month to the flame, just like the old man said. Oh well, I'm sure he won't get burned." Rosin thought to itself as it then rapidly sunk into the planet becoming completely submerged.

With a loud thumping boom Felix teleported into a trunk of a Grand Black Zylonlimice tree causing the wood to be shot out at an extremely high viscosity laying waste to the flora and fauna in the surrounding area, and one very unfortunate humanoid who was passing by. Felix taking a step in the newly formed rubble that lay before him, thought to himself. "That wasn't there befo..." as he collapsed onto the floor completely exhausted from his battle with Rosin. Just before he started to lose consciousness, he saw what seemed to be a puddle of blood moving to the shredded remains of the humanoid. Seeing this sent Felix into a state of fear and curiosity for he did not sense any life forms greater than a common animal in this area of the planet and he wondered in the brief moments that he was awake. "Have I encountered an abomination already... I wonder if we can be friends?"

Side Note: The Black Brobdingnagian Forest. This colossal forest gets its name from two undeniable facts. The first is that every tree in the forest belongs to the Black Zylan family of trees. This is a species of tree that grows all black from its roots to it fruit and flowers. The level of darkness varies between the types of Black Zylan trees, the darkest being the Gilouns Swamp Tree. The second fact is that the forest is roughly 40 million square miles, which makes it the biggest forest on the planet Giagin. The forest has many different kinds of ecosystems and biomes each with its own unique flora and fauna.

Felix woke up in what appeared to be a country style kitchen. As he got up and looked around, he noticed all the cabinets were decorated with small animals doing different activities like swinging, fishing and having picnics. Before he could get a better look at his surroundings, he heard foot steps coming from a staircase behind him. He jumped turning around to see a tall lean man, with the facial features of a Nordic Viking, snow white eyes and silver hair that ended in a shade of light purple with streaks of blonde, and a fire red beard walking down.

"Oh, you're awake." The man said as he walked past Felix, pulled out a chair at the granite table in the middle of the kitchen and sat down staring out the window above the sink. Felix then walked over to the other side of the table and sat in the chair opposite of him, as he did he noticed the window but not what was on the other side due to his rush to get answers. Felix quickly sat down, looked the man in the eyes and asked. "How did you know I was going to be there. I checked the area to make sure no one was around for miles and... and why can't I sense your aura now?" With a look of perplexity in his face.

The man shrugged and said "Hey, my name is Jeryme... And that's how you introduce yourself to someone you met for the girst time, well hopefully you won't have killed them and then pass out before hand. And to answer your question, I don't know, I never had an aura for as long as I can remember. So, it's my turn to ask a question. Where did you come from?"

Felix looked at Jeryme with a stronger look of confusion than before. He then looked around and started to take in the immense size of not only the room he was in but also the size of the staircase Jeryme walked down. What really displayed the true depth of the mansion was the staircase, it seemed to stretch endlessly up with hallways on both side of it, with a new floor starting about every fifteen feet. Each hallway was lavishly decorated and had more and more intricate chandeliers as the floors ascended. Felix then turned around to look at the decorations that adorned the cabinets and made eye contact with a wooden statue of a frog in overalls sitting on a stump fishing. After a couple of seconds, he looks back at Jeryme.

"I came here from a planet about three million light years in that direction." Felix said as he pointed up "Oh wait my bad, it was actually in that direction." He said as he made a slight adjustment to his point that was unnoticeable by the human eye. "Has it really been three days?" he whispered to himself as he started to look at the next wooden statue. This one was of a racoon in overalls sitting in a rocking chair with a jug of moonshine.

"3 million!? how long did it take you to crash here?" Jeremy quickly asked

" I didn't crash, I teleported into a tree... it wasn't here the last time I was here so when I got here it displaced the material of the tree and sent it flying in every direction which is how you "died". And it didn't take any time at all it was instantaneous." Felix said as he moved on to the next statue of a cat in a farmer's hat and overalls with a piece of wheat in his mouth, selling fish at a self-made market stand.

" You what? No, that isn't possible nothing can move instantaneously between two points. You must be confused from crashing into the planet." Jeryme said looking at Felix as if he needed to be taken to a hospital. He then pulled out a folded-up piece of paper out of a pouch that was slung over his shoulder, and a pin out of his pocket, unfolded it, and stared writing and drawing out the parts he would need for a CAT scan machine. As he did that Felix started to look at another statue, becoming increasingly annoyed at what he saw. It was a fox and rabbit sitting on a blanket having a picnic, but they were both in overalls.

Just as Jeryme was finishing up what he was writing, Felix, with a look of pure frustration, focused on the last statute of an otter tubing down a river and the only thing Felix can think was. "Why the fuck is it wearing overalls, why not a swimsuit or something". Felix then turned to asked why, but before he could Jeryme reached his hand over his paper and turned it into an actual CAT scan machine. Sending it smashing through the table as it crashed to the floor. Seeing this Felix realized that Jeryme was an Alchemist and also realized he created the mansion and everything it. Felix then switched up his question and yelled. "Why did you make them all have overalls?!" As he reached out and grabbed Jeryme, and before Jeryme could answer he was teleported with Felix to the planet Felix had just came from.

They stood on a platform made of made of black magic as the ground beneath the shook and fissure opened with magma oozing out. Purple lighting ripped across the blacked sky and winds tore trees from the ground. Felix looked down to the crater he made by hitting Rosin to the planets surface and saw a turquoise glow coming from the cracks where they last stood talking.

"You fucking hypocrite." Felix said to himself as he rose his hand and a small part of the platform chipped off and fell into the cracks in the crater. "Well, this might work out better for me, as long as he doesn't notice." He said to himself again.

Jeryme looked out at the catastrophe riddled planet in pure awe and wonderment. He saw tornados ravaging across the lands and hurricane's decimating the coastal regions, causing massive floods to cover hundreds of miles of what use to be forests and deserts. He then looked back at Felix and asked. "Hey how did you know three days had passed?"

"I was Tracking something on this planet, and I noticed it aura advanced three days in the planets rotation." Felix replied as he grabbed Jeryme's arm and teleported them back to the kitchen. Jeryme then sat in his chair and put his hand on the CAT scan machine and turned it into a purple, black and silver marbled stone table. Felix walked over to his chair and sat back down as well.

"I've thought I've seen it all in my seven thousand years of life I never knew instant travel was possible, and to experience it is a completely different feeling." Jeryme stated as he sat smiling looking out the window. Felix then made a coin out of black magic and started spinning it on the table.

"Well for you and ever one else, yeah, its instant." As Felix was explaining the coin started traveling back and forth instantly blinking in front of them. "But for me, I get taken to a dark hallway and have to travel in it until I reach the end." the coin stopped in front of Felix and started rolling towards Jeryme then rolled back to Felix and then rolled back to Jeryme but at halve the speed. "But it takes about twice as long to travel through the dark hallways than it does to travel outside of it. When I First got this ability, in the two years I had been looking for Rosin I had aged about five." Felix said as the coin dematerialized.

Jeryme looked at Felix with pure wonder in his eyes as he asked "How did you get that power and who is Rosin?"

Felix chuckled as he said, "I got punched in the face and Rosin is my third teacher, the Grimm Reaper before me."

Wh.. What!?" Jeryme stammered as he squinted his eyes in disbelief. "So, the myths about the Grimm Reaper are true, and.. and you're the current one? What about Beelzebub and Yahweh? Are they real as well? Do you know them? What are they like?" Jeryme blurted out in rapid succession as he stood up slamming his hands on the table. He then took a second to compose himself and started walking toward the window looking out of it.

Felix watched him walk over to the window before answering his questions. " Yeah, and yeah they're real, or at least Rosin says so. I haven't met them or anything like that yet. Though ya know, you're the first alchemist I've ever met." Hearing this Jeremy sighed and rolled his eyes already starting to disbelieve what he was just told. Felix then stood up and started walking over to the window adding. " Rosin only told me a few things about Alchemists, and one of them was that if they are strong enough I should give them some of my bones." As he finished his sentence, he finally looked outside taking in the view from the window, and realized that they were no longer on the forest floor but now on a cliffside towering over the forest. The trees turned into an ocean of pitch-black water. The wind blew through the trees causing them to sway and resemble crashing waves as they flowed and crashed into each other. The birds looked as if they were jumping fish as they would raise above and then dip back below the tree line. He could see the hundreds of thousands of miles of Forest that sat before him and the vast lavender plains that lined the forest's border. Felix then turned to Jeryme and asked in a tone of pure astonishment "You made a cliff?"

"Yeah." Jeryme calmly replied. " Terraforming is just advanced alchemy." He said as he reached his hand out touching the window. Within a few seconds, the molecules that made up the air started to change into H2O. Water then started to pour out of the outside pane of the window. After a few seconds it was surging out and crashing down to the forest floor and flooding the land around it as it crawled back up the cliff. The wildlife that was swept away by the water didn't drown but instead started to mutate into aquatic versions of themselves. Some animals that had strong auras transformed into advanced predators. The shrubs and bushes turned into multicolor coral reefs. Small trees keep their trunks, but their branches turned almost tentacle-like and start swaying in the water with long hair-like spines covering them. The larger trees grow bigger and become gigantic versions of the Black Mangrove Trees in the swamp biomes of the forest.

Felix stared in amazement as what was once flat forest land was now a mansion on a cliff that stretched to the heavens above a sprawling crystal-clear lake, and it was all created by the whim of one person. Then suddenly and to the surprise of Jeryme, causing the water to stop flowing for half a second, Felix violently reached into his chest, snapped off two of his ribs and pulled them out. He then handed them to Jeryme, locking eyes with him as he exclaimed "Fuck! That hurt more than I thought it would." And then he slowly waddled back to his chair and started to stitch up his wound with black magic thread and replace the bones he lost with black magic as well. Jeryme stared at Felix bewildered about what just happened as he walked back to his chair, causing the outpour of water to decrease as he lost focus.

"Wha.. What do u want me to do with these?" he asked as he looked at the bones that were covered in a deep red and thick blood that pooled in the palm of his hand. The sight of the blood made him turn to the sink and start to wash off the bones and his hand. " You're an alchemist make something cool out of them." Felix replied with a tone that implied Jeryme should have already known the answer to that question. "But like... what?" Jeremy asked as he was now vigorously trying to scrub the blood off his hand "And why is your blood so damn sticky!?" He added as he was finally able to clean his hands and the bones of blood. "Is your blood not sticky?" Felix asked feeling a little self-conscious by the second question " And I don't know, something cool, it doesn't have to be useful I just want to see what u can do with it." Felix stated as he finished sowing up his wound. Jeremy then started walking to his chair putting the bones on the table and sitting down. "Something is coming." He said as his head shot up and eyes darted to the window." I know, whatever it is it'll be here in about ten minutes." Felix said as he started to examine the other wooden carvings on the cabinets. Jeremy looked confused at the statement " How can u tell? Does it have to do with what u said earlier on that other planet, tracking aura?" He asked.

"Yeah." Felix answered and then followed up by saying. "There are multiple tiers of aura detection. The first is basic aura detection, you have the ability to detect aura but can't feel where it's coming from. The second tier, which I'm guessing you are in, allows you to get at least a sense of direction of where the aura is coming from. You can also feel it becoming stronger or weaker as it gets closer or further away from you. The Third tier, where my abilities currently stand, lets you pinpoint the location of most creatures aura as long as they are in your detection range. And the last tier lets you completely replace your five senses with arua detection, a very useful skill or at least I thought so until I met you."

Jeremy looked at Felix as if he just made all that up on the spot and skeptically asked "Really?" Felix rolled his eyes saying "Just watch the window" as he teleported away. Jeremy stared out the window and soon noticed a small dot that appeared to be growing. He then realized it wasn't growing, it was just coming closer at very high speeds. Before he knew it the being was about to crash into the mansion but moments before that happened Felix teleported in front of it stopping it. The shock wave caused by the impact blew out the window and its frame resulting in Jeremy getting blasted back to the staircase and sent both small and large chunks of shrapnel ripping through him, killing him again.

Before Felix could turn around to check on Jeremy, the behemoth clasped his hands together over his head and brought them down onto Felix sending him careening into the water below. As Felix sunk to the bottom of the lake he gazed up at the thing and a smile started to form exposing his shark-like teeth. He then made a small platform of black magic about the same size as a dime and using that as a jumping point he propelled himself upwards. He rocketed out of the water punching into the creature breaking through the skin and shattering the lower front teeth as he grabbed its lower jaw. He then did a flip spinning in the air dragging the behemoth behind him before launching it to the shoreline of the newly formed lake. He then turned around while standing on another small platform he made platform and saw Jeremys' body lifelessly sprawled out on the staircase half shredded. The blood that had been splattered all over the walls and floor had already started slowly returning to his body.

Felix let out a small chuckle saying under his breath. " Ya really need to stop being so skeptical." He then turned back around and launched himself in the direction he sent the behemoth flying, stopping above him and looking down as the creature looked up with a grin on his face as he oozed a deep midnight blue blood out of his jaw. "That was a good one." He bellowed. Blood sprayed out his wound as he did. In a moment of silence, Felix felt a sense of calm as the sounds of the crashing waves echoed along the shoreline. Then the blood slowly stopped leaking down from the creatures wound and it started to speak again. "It would be a shame not to trade names with such a discernible warrior. My name is Gilliat Sysion of the Lechuron Mountain Tribe. Last of my kind." Gilliat then stared up at Felix for a moment before Felix spoke.

"Oh.. Umm ok, my name is Felix no last name and I can't really remember the name of my kind it's been so long, but I am the last of them I know that." Felix said as he broke eye contact with Gilliat and started scouring his mind for the name of his kind. Gilliat took a deep breath in and sighed "What a sh." "Keirin!" Felix abruptly yelled. "I just remembered, yeah it's Keiren." Upon hearing this Gilliat's smile grew wide ripping across his face. His eyes became big and shined in the sunlight. This is when Felix finally took in what his opponent looked like. Gilliat was big at least three times the size of Felix with a slender build, but his arms and legs were almost the same size as his body. Felix couldn't tell if he had a neck or not because his head seemed to flow seamlessly into his body. His skin was Oxford blue, and his eye were completely black speckled with small shining dots resembling the sky on a moonless night.

Gilliat then spoke in a calm deep voice but even then you could still hear the undertone of excitement bubbling up. " Around 700 years ago I came across the ruins of an ancient city, but it wasn't by chance. You see I was looking for something, a book that was said to be written thousands of years before the collapse of this civilization. When I first got there was in awe of how advanced the technology was. I didn't think an ancient people could be so advanced, it was truly a wonderful learning experience. I visited many cities of this fallen civilization and gathered information on where the book might be. I meet a few beings that were on the same path as me, and it almost always... It always ended in death." Gilliat paused and for a brief instant, Felix could see a look of regret crawling across his face and in his eyes. "Even when it didn't need to.. The Phiesion Museum of Art and Literature is where I found it safeguarded in a fragile glass box. At the back of the book is where I found what I've been searching for. A story of an unnamed Keiren that fought an angel glowing of a turquoise hue and won. And I knew that that could only mean one thing, there was a new Grimm Reaper, a Keiren." Gilliat stated as he stared up at Felix as if he was proof of his life's work to be true.

Hearing this Felix scratched the back of his head and kick his foot slightly "I didn't think I'd meet a fan so soon." Felix said bashfully, he then looked off to the lake and focused on the sound of waves as the reality of the situation was sinking in, that this could be the end of everything. A sense of dread washed over him. Crashing harder and harder against him as the waves did the shore. His eyes slowly grew pitch black as the trees in the surrounding forest grew darker. It even appeared that the light in the area started to fade. He then turned to face Gilliat who was smiling even wider than before. "Whenever you're ready," Felix spoke in a somber, cold tone. Gilliat nodded his head and bellowed "Felix, I challenge you for the holy title of Grimm Reaper!" With a nervous smile on his face and in a low, grave tone Felix spoke. "I Accept."

Felix rocketed himself at Gilliat causing a sonic boom to echo through the forest and even more waves started to form in the lake nearby. In the time it took him to reach Gilliat, he had already formed a staff out of black magic in his right hand and was getting ready to strike at Gilliat's head. But before he could even swing, Gilliat reached out with a black Magic-coated hand, grabbed Felix, and began squeezing him. A loud crunch rang out as more than half the bones in his body snapped simultaneously. Before Felix could even start repairing himself he was getting slammed into the ground over and over again making small craters in the area circling Gilliat. He was then thrown deeper into the forest crashing into and demolishing the trees in his path, but before he hit the floor Felix had already repaired his broken bones and damaged organs. He was then skimming across the forest floor like a stone skipping across water. As he was spinning rapidly bounding across the floor he was able to see Gilliat above him in the sky barrelling toward him. In a brief moment, Felix was able to make eye contact with Galliat and saw a look of disappointment sprawled across his face. For some odd reason, this made Felix feel ashamed as Rosin's words echoed in his head. "Your black magic is truly something special." Though that may seem like an insignificant thing to say coming from Rosin those words truly held a heavy weight. And in that moment on he no longer felt dread, he no longer felt sorrowor and, he no longer felt shame. He only felt determined not only to keep his title and prove Rosin was right but, to also give Gilliat the fight a contender for the holy title deserves. Felix dug his hand into the ground stopping his trajectory instantly, he then launched himself off the ground upwards into Gilliat's stomach. Felix formed a sledgehammer in his hand and slammed it into Gilliat's ribs sending the behemoth soaring down to the ground. As Gilliat hit the ground Felix was already there ready to grab his leg and throw deeper into the forest, in a similar fashion to how he did it to Felix earlier. As Gilliat bounced off the floor Felix leaped forward toward him, grabbed him by the eye socket, and tried to slam him into the ground. But before Gilliat hit the floor he put his hands out above his head stopping it from being slammed into the forest floor. He then pushed himself up and back on his feet while Felix was still holding on. He reached out, grabbed Felix, and pulled him off, but Felix didn't let go and Gilliat's skin was ripped off as he threw Felix onto the ground. As he bounced off the floor Gilliat grabbed a skinny tree and ripped it out of the ground, coated it with black magic, and swung into Felix like a baseball. Sending him back into the ground a little further into the forest. Felix shot a pole into the ground to stop himself and quickly got on his feet and composed himself as Gilliat came charging at him, fists covered in black magic. Felix made another staff as Gilliat leaped at him, almost resembling a gorilla as he slammed both his fists down on Felix. He was able to block the attack with his staff, but before he was able to counter Gilliat started throwing rapid punches. Felix was able to block them at first but Gilliat's speed kept increasing, and more and more swings were starting to connect. Soon Gilliat was landing the majority of his punches and Felix dematerialized the staff and made a sphere shield surrounding him. Felix could only think "Holy Fuck!" before Gilliat shattered the shield and started wailing on Felix, beating his body into the ground about 15 feet. Gilliat then grabbed him and threw him up into the atmosphere yelling,"I'll make this legendary!", and ripped a very large tree out the ground, coated it in black magic, and rocketed himself into the atmosphere faster than he threw Felix. Just as Felix was starting to slow down Gilliat appeared behind him smacking him with the tree and sending him careening back down towards the planet. Gilliat then made a platform and used it to propel himself back down at an even faster speed than Felix was launched, landing back in the forest waiting to catch Felix. As Felix came plummeting to the planet he thought back on a memory with Rosin about 8,000 thousand years ago. "When someone challenges you, you can't refuse. If you do that is considered forfeiting and your title will be transferred. The same thing will happen if you accept the challenge and try to flee. So you can't just teleport away. So no teleporting, ok Felix?" Rosin said to Felix as they stood in an open field scattered with yellow, blue, pink, and purple flowers that stretches miles out in any direction. "Ok, but what if I use it as a strategic move, not to run away?" Felix ask as he lied down in the field. "I dunno. You'll have to figure that out when the time comes." As that moment flashed in his mind he knew that this was the time to find out. He steadied his body and made a new staff that was taller than he was. He held it with both hands and steadied the tip that was below him with his feet compressing his body tight to the staff to reduce drag and increase his speed. Felix was now about the reach Gilliat when Gilliat swung out his hand attempting to catch Felix but Felix slipped through Gilliat's fingers teleportong just as he was closing in on him. There he stood in the dark hallway that stretched endlessly before him. This space that was normally a place of peace and tranquillity that separated him from the rest of the universe, this most sacred of places, now felt like when he first started using it and he was on edge unsure of what awaited in the shadows, what lurked just beyond his footsteps. He took a deep breath in, and moved forward. He then reappeared passing Gillats hand keeping his momentum.Seeing this Gilliat formed a shield covering the front of his neck to stop the staff from ripping through his flesh. But Felix didn't aim for his neck instead slightly to the right of it. When Gilliat didn't feel the staff make contact he quickly tried to swing his arm around to catch Felix as he fell behind him. But the moments right before the end of the staff passed Gilliat's throat a scythe blade shot out. The part of the staff that Felix was holding threaded into his hands and feet to keep him attached to it as the scythe's blade cut through the shield on Gilliat's throat, and then completely through his neck. Felix came crashing into the ground behind the behemoth, stopping himself by stabbing the staff into the ground. Gilliat, with a look of pure befuddlement, made a thin covering to completely wrap around his neck. He then turned to face Felix and sat down.

Felix panted as he leaned up against his scythe, staring at Gilliat. The black in his eyes began to fade and started to shine a deep purple as the light of the setting sun was cast over the forest. As the black in his eyes faded away so did the darkness that was infecting the surrounding area. Felix looked ragged with both his left arm and leg dislocated and his body looking like a lumpy pile of clay. Within the second his arm and leg started to twitch and shake sporadically, and his body looked as if things were frantically crawling around inside of him. This was him mending his broken body back together, reconnecting the broken and shattered bones, and stitching up his organs. He dematerialized his scythe when he was done repairing himself walked over to Gilliat and sat down.

Felix stared at Gilliat for a few seconds before a small rectangular pouch materialized in front of Felix and dropped into his hand. He then pinched the top of the pouch pushing both corners close together popping open the top and turning it upside down. A blunt slid out of the pouch and into his other hand. He looked down at his hand and started to shake the pouch a little until small flimsy see-through orange color lighter falls out and lands next to the blunt as the pouch disappears. In one fluid motion, Felix pushed the blunt up to his middle and pointer finger with his thumb as he raised it to his lips dropping the lighter into his other hand and lighting the blunt. He took a drag of the blunt as the cherry burned bright. "How did you know I was here?" He asked as the smoke trailed out of the corners of his mouth. He then looked down at the blunt as if he was questioning his next move, took another drag then reached out his hand offering the blunt to Gilliat.

Gilliat smiled as he reached out and took the blunt. As he inhale he looked up, gazing at the sky as the clouds rolled by and a look of nostalgia washed over his face. He then blew the smoke out from his nose as he adjusted his eyes back onto Felix and answered the question as he passed the blunt back to Felix. "I have, what I like to call, a divine sense of this world. It lets me see the location of anyone I find of interest." Upon hearing this Felix understood that Gilliat's divine sense of this world and his third-tier aura detection were one in the same. "That guy who was to the left of you before you came here, who is he?" Felix quickly asked before taking another drag. "Ah, young Marshell Rel." Gilliat replied, "He does have a special Aura that consumes his being, and it seems I wasn't the only one to notice." He added.

"Tell me about him, what can he do... and what is he looking for?" Felix asked, but before Gilliat could answer Felix started pointing to his face to show off his smoke trick. He then started to push the smoke out his mouth causing it to split into separate streams of smoke as he inhaled it through his nose. Gilliat smiled and nodded his head in approval. "He came to work under under Ron. He wan" Gilliat was interrupted by Felix's sudden outburst "His name is Ron!? Really? Is he your boss too? Do you also work for Ron!?" This made Gilliat laugh and cough causing the smoke to be blown out of the black magic patch he had around his neck. "Yes he was, I did, but then I found you and I no longer needed his assistance. You see Ron, Marshell and I were looking for the Holy Titles of God, Devil, and Grimm Reaper. Since the three are unnaturally drawn to each other it isn't uncommon to have groups like ours. And to answer your earlier questions Marshell controls diamond but, just the solid form for now and he is looking for the Devil." Gilliat stated as he passed back the blunt.

Felix took a puff and then asked. "So, who were the other three in the room? Start with the two that were behind you." "The one that was closest to me is Ron and the Woman to his side is Rebbecca." Gilliat paused for a brief second as a look of grimace and dread washed over his face "She is a terrifying creature. A being who cares not for titles for they are below her. How Ron came to obtain her loyalty is beyond my comprehension. But her Aura divination is the weakest out of all of us and she won't know you're here unless you get too close." Gilliat said as the look of grimace and dread faded from his face. "And Zabeth, he's an abomination who denies his potential. He may be a fool, but he is not one to be underestimated. He is a being of pure malice. We have two more members, but they are of little importance as they hold no significance."

Felix thought about the words aura divination and figured it was a better thing to say than # tier aura detection and decided to start saying that from now on. He then passed the blunt back to Gilliat and noted. "They may hold no weight, but they still can interfere with my plans. where are they? I know their aura but after they left a few hours ago so I can't pinpoint them." Gilliat paused before hitting the blunt and looked at Felix "You lost track of them?" he asked as he then raised the blunt back to his lips. "Yes, I lost them, I can only pinpoint about five people at a time and if they are close to others, I can use how their auras interact to get a good sense of their exact location too. See what you call your divine sense of this world, I and the people I've met so far, call third-tier aura detection." Felix clarified and then inquired. "How many people can you see at once?" Gilliat started pointing to his mouth the show Felix his trick and as he exhaled a 3D image of what looked to be a city sitting on top of a bridge. The smoke image was remarkably detailed and of a pretty large size. "Everything living thing on this planet." He declared answering Felix's question.

"Holy shit!" Felix exclaimed in pure awe at both the answer and the image that floated in front of him. Hearing this made Gilliat chuckle, and it blew away the end part of the side closest to him. "Oh well, that part wasn't important anyway." Gilliat said as four pinpoints popped up on the map "This one," He said as he pointed to a marker on a tall building that towered over the other giant skyscrapers." this is where HQ is, The Faltourus Hotel. This is where Ron and Rebbecca normally are. Zabeth," He then pointed to the marker that was under the surface of the bridge near one of its legs. "Is normally round here. The undergrounds are home to the Akreska a race that would best be described as a humanoid cats. They, like my people, have been here since before the river under the bridge existed. They lived in this forest and outnumbered both my species and the Elkinen. But they were divided, and as the millennia passed that division led to their downfall and now they are seen as simple-minded servants. Because they are seen in that way most of the underground is unchecked so Zabeth can do what he wants whenever he wants. The two people who don't matter are here over in the Kubi Hanno shopping district." He then pointed to the checkpoint close to the part of the image that got blown away. "It's out of the way so you don't have to worry about it. And finally, here. "He then pointed at a marker placed on a small building in between the shopping district and the Faltourus Hotel. "This is where Marshell normally at. It's called the Oriemon Pub."

Felix looked at him slightly annoyed "Ok cool," he said quickly "but how did you do that?!" He asked and pointed at the 3D smoke image that floated in front of him, annoyed at the fact that it had to be asked about and wasn't explained first. Gilliat laughed and more smoke came bursting through the patch as he bellowed. This moment brought back a memory that he hadn't thought of in some time. The person who sat in front of him was no longer Felix and they were no longer in the forest. They sat in the ruins of an advanced civilization in front of a small fire. The person who now sat in front of Gilliat was one of his oldest and closest friends. The annoyed look on his friend's face went away as he was handed the blunt, Gilliat smiled and went on to explain how his trick worked as he basked in the bliss of one of his fondest memories.

As he finished up his explanation his friend started to speak but just as the words were about to come out of his mouth the memory started to fade away. Gilliat watched as the fire that sat before him faded into the forest floor and the illusion had finally stopped. Felix watched him as he gazed upon the ground with a tortured look in his eye and a joyous smile stretching across his face. "Hey, you know I can patch you up right, sew everything back together and you don't have to die you can become a.."Felix said before he was interrupted by Gilliat. "I've made numerous decisions to get here." He said calmly. "Some good and some not so much, but there are a handful of decisions that would turn into regrets if I accepted anything less than the title of Grimm Reaper... The weight of those decisions were starting to weigh on me, as my hopes of your existence started to falter... I want to give you something... As a way to say thank you for proving to me that all my decisions had meaning." Gilliat lifted his hand up and pointed at the massive block of black magic that eclipsed the two of them. "Be careful it's going to decompress after it's transferred." He added before Felix stretched out his hand. Even though it was Felix who was speaking Gilliat heard his old friend say. "You didn't have to but I'm not one to refuse a gift. No takesses backeses."

The cube above them started growing as it decompressed until it was about double the mass it was at first. The very second it finished growing it start to shrink as Felix started compressing it until it was the size of an eighteen-foot-long 4"x6" plank. Apon seeing this Gilliat let out a small sigh and murmured. "Truly terrifying." As the light finally drained from his eyes and the patch around his neck dematerialized. Felix looked at the plank and split it into two pieces, the smaller one being six feet long. He then looked at the longer piece took a hit of the blunt and blew out a crude 3D image of a scythe before dematerialized it only leaving the smaller plank. He then turned it into a shovel and started digging Gilliat's grave.

Jeremy came walking up soon after Felix had finished filling the grave and was in the process of making the tombstone that reads. "Here lies Gilliat. He died with no regrets. ??-??. The first of many & the first of few." Felix placed the tombstone on the ground as Jeremy asked. "you alright? Looked pretty hectic coming up here, a bunch of you size craters." Felix then materializes another small rectangle pouch pinches open the top flips it to get the blunt out, and then starts shaking it tell the lighter comes out too. Lights the blunt, takes a drag, and speaks. "Yeah. Cities that way." While pointing behind him with one hand and handing Jeremy the blunt with the other. Jeremy grabbed the blunt shrugged his shoulders and then took hits as they started walking toward the city. As they were walking Jeremy tapped Felixs' shoulder and pointed at his face showing off his smoke rings.

Felix sat in a dark small dark room void of any light. He thought back on his fight with Gilliat, it reminded him of day when he was just starting his journey and how for the third time he felt the over encompassing pressure of death dragging him down but unlike the first two times he didn't get the since of peaceful bliss, only a dreading fear of failure and hunger to survive that still rashished his every nerve. A small light lit up his face as he lit the tip of his blunt and the room he had created to rest in peace started to deteriorate. On the outside Jerhyme watched as the black sphere started shooting out smoke as the holes opened wider and wider untill it was just a ball of smoke, trails dancing in the wind as it shrunk. Felix stood in the clearing still smoking and looked apon the valley that laid beneath him. The winding rivers that stretched from mountain to mountain. The vast plains that swirled in the wind as if the grass was a crashing wave ripping through the lands. And on the far edge of the valley sat a small Forrest nothing like the one the pair had left a few days ago. Felix turns to Jerhyme and ask. "How long was I in there?" "About 1 1/2 days." Jerhyme replies. "I wasn't sure what was happening, you just kind of stopped and then boom you were in that sphere. So I made camp." He added as he pointed behind him showing off his steam punk style wood cabin. Felix eyes light up seeing the bizarre and fascinating cabin but soon dimmed as he saw in the front garden there was a myriad of small woodland critters all doing various activities but all in the same set of overalls and hats. He quickly turned around no longer fascinated by the cabin and started walking in the direction of the forrest. As he was walking down the slope his eyes locked onto a deer like creature drinking at the banks of one of the rivers and within seconds of its nose touching the water a large cuddle fish type of creature springs out and snatches it into the water. Felix jumped in surprise and turn to Jerhyme exclaiming. "Did you see..." as he trips and rolled down the long slope. Jeryme laughing walked down following him."Yeah I saw it." He struggled to get out between his laughing.
