Chapter 9 - Origin Body

Astra felt his body being immersed in a relaxing sensation, every part of him changing. The transformation lasted several minutes before finally stopping.

Then he began to notice the changes within him. The first thing to note was his strength, as despite having the body of a baby, he felt as strong and full of energy as an 8-year-old boy.

Among his other most notable changes was his intelligence. He could now say that, if in his past life his intelligence was 1 and then upon rebirth it was close to 100, then after integrating the Origin Body his intelligence was close to 1000.

While it was a huge change, it didn't feel out of place; rather, it was like having maximum control over his mind. He could easily utilize his full capacity or keep it at a low level without any problem.

"System, show me the details of the Origin Body."

[Immediately.]

[Name: Origin Body

Rarity: Origin

Type: Physical

Description: The highest physical form conceived in the cosmos, a unique creation forged directly from the absolute core of the Origin. It is neither an evolution nor a blessing, but a supreme state that represents the ideal of physical existence, free of imperfections, limits, or restrictions. Its mere presence resonates with the laws of the universe, forcing them to adapt rather than imposing their restrictions.

It is considered one of the forms of existence closest to the Origin itself.

Innate Subcomponents:

— Origin Eyes (Evolvable): Allows one to see through all things, including laws, the soul, and space-time. Currently, it allows one to see through mana, illusions, and the bodies of creatures.

— Origin Blood: Contains innate primordial laws; any wound caused by this blood can break contracts, seals, and even destinies. Additionally, it is a great tonic for cultivators, helping them break through. It also works as a medicine that heals wounds.

— Origin Blood Essence.

— True Immortality: The wielder cannot die from physical, temporal, or energetic causes. Only the Origin can nullify their existence.

— Complete Freedom from Cultivation Rules: Can advance without techniques, without external energy, without needing to overcome tribulations or meet universal requirements.

Abilities:

— Passive Cultivation: Automatically absorbs and transforms Origin Energy (primordial mana) without the need for techniques.

— Perpetual Evolution: The body constantly improves automatically, breaking through its own limits without external intervention.

— Bloodline Transmission: Through the Origin Blood Essence, the host can grant pseudo-origin aptitude to other beings.

— Boundless Comprehension: Can understand almost everything at a glance, no matter how complex.

- Hidden Abilities: (??? – Special conditions required to reveal)

Special Condition:

Only one wielder of the Origin Body can exist in the entire cosmos. If an attempt is made to replicate, the Origin itself will either prevent it or automatically destroy the replica.]

Astra's mind held only one word:

Shocking!

Speechless, Astra struggled to find the words to describe what he'd just read. Even without the system, he was certain he could reach incredible heights with the Origin Body alone. The Origin Body is equivalent to having another extremely high-level cheat.

Astra began to study each feature in detail; the more he understood things, the more shocked he became.

Understanding that the system had mentioned "the rest," he came to the conclusion that he already had part of the Origin Body in him when he was born. This should be the reason for his ability to see mana and his intelligence.

Seeing his high physical level, he could now understand why the talent tests he's been given aren't yielding positive results. He's simply in a different category.

He was very excited about what the future held for him; he couldn't wait to see where he could go.

Eager to shift his focus and calm his racing thoughts, he turned his attention back to the system.

The system's interface was simple but elegant, composed of gold, black, and a few hints of purple. He discovered he could control it at will with his thoughts, both opening and closing it.

He'd previously wondered if anyone else could see it, but Lois apparently hadn't noticed, so he got his answer.

[If the host wants, they can make the screen visible to anyone.]

"Yes?" He found it strange, considering how most systems were always hidden from others, even from those their hosts trusted. But then seeing the True Immortality feature, he realized it didn't matter.

He already had his place at the top secured; the important thing now was to enjoy the process.

Exploring the system's interface, Astra noticed the modules and functions it comprised:

Status

Backpack

Shop

Quests

Information

Status allowed him to view his information, as well as the information of others and any items he wanted.

Curious, he decided to test it. He saw Lois sitting in a chair near him, reading a book. He proceeded to use the system.

[Name: Lois

Age: 45

Race: Human

Occupation: Servant/Assassin

Cultivation Level: Intermediate Convergence

Actual Combat Level: Advanced Convergence

Physique: None

Talent: High

Affinity: Dark, Wind

Techniques: Chant of the Darkcloak

Skills: Shadowstep, Spire of Silence, Shadow Dagger, Dark Clone, Air Blade, Whirlwind Slash

Artifacts: Dagger of Darkness]

After seeing Lois's condition, Astra was a little stunned. Although he could deduce many things from what he could read, he still lacked a lot of information to fully understand this world.

He still didn't know what the Convergence Realm meant, nor how strong it was, but assuming Lois was a maid, it shouldn't be that strong, or at least that's what he thought.

Something that surprised him was the assassin profession. He was a little scared to think she might come after him, but after seeing the condition of some other maids who passed through the door, he realized that almost all of them had that job.

Thus, he breathed a sigh of relief.

He turned once more to the system, curious to examine Lois's full status.

What he saw next left him a little shocked.
