Location: Hololive HQ, Top Floor Meeting Room – 8:14 PM
The sky outside had taken on a warm orange hue, the sun dipping low behind Tokyo's skyline. Inside the sleek, softly lit meeting room, five women sat around a polished oval table. The atmosphere was thick with tension—not the bad kind, but the kind that always brewed when something big was about to begin.
A-chan stood near the front, arms crossed and eyes scanning a digital board behind her. Her tone was cool, analytical.
A-chan: "We've put this decision off for too long. We need to choose someone to take on the role of Leader of Talent Managers. Hololive is expanding faster than ever, and one mistake could compromise everything we've built."
She taps a key. A 3D diagram pops up, labeled: Responsibilities, Requirements, Protocol Access.
Woman #1: "What are the exact qualifications again? I know we mentioned high intelligence, but what else?"
A-chan: "They need to manage multiple talents without bias, adapt to unpredictable scenarios, and handle confidential operations. Not to mention… they must be emotionally detached, logical under pressure, and resistant to 'idol infatuation syndrome.'"
Woman #2: "Ah yes, the 'gets too attached and ruins everything' syndrome."
They chuckle briefly.
A-chan: "This is a position of absolute authority. Whoever gets it will have full access to Hololive's classified systems, schedules, and emergency override codes. It can't be someone weak-willed or unstable."
Woman #3: "So basically… a genius who won't simp?"
A-chan:Deadpan "Exactly."
She flicks through dozens of files—resumes, performance reports, even livestream snippets of potential candidates.
Woman #1: "What about Shigure Ui?"
Woman #2: "Already managing two teams. Burnout risk."
Woman #3: "How about AZKi? She's chill and smart."
A-chan: "She's a talent, not a manager. This role must be external to the idol hierarchy."
After nearly an hour of sifting, silence begins to settle in. The projected board shows "CANDIDATES: 0."
Woman #2: "Maybe we're aiming too high. Maybe the perfect candidate just doesn't exist."
Everyone looks to A-chan, who's remained unusually quiet. Her gaze drifts toward the setting sun, casting a long shadow across the floor. Then, without turning around, she speaks.
A-chan: "...If a girl can't have that role—"
She turns, a strange gleam in her glasses.
A-chan: "—then a boy does."
Silence fills the room.
Woman #3: "Wait… what?"
A-chan:Turning back to the screen with a smirk "Tomorrow, we begin our search."
