"Welcome to the infirmary dude." Rex grumbled as Koji, fresh off of his own Game of Darkness against the stage magician Pandora, ended up with a bed next to the mutt.
To say that the disco man looked worse for wear was an understatement. His body was riddled with bullet grazes as proof of the torture he went through to free his friends and girlfriends. So here he was, being treated by the ever reliable Ayukawa-sensei, as well as Junko and Momoe who stayed by his side.
"Welp, I better get used to these sights." Koji chuckled.
"Mou~ even after all that, you still have time to joke?" Rika pouted.
"Hey, we just had life or death Duels for two days straight. Pardon us for laughing in the face of death." The mutt groaned.
"What matters is that they're safe." Misawa said. "I'd say they earned this rest."
"Yeah, and with the Duel Monster Spirit Festival coming up soon, it's gonna be a good way to let off some steam." Kuromu agreed.
"That is if they allow us to…" Sho groaned.
"Given that there's only one Seven Star member left, I don't think they'll take immediate action." Asuka assured the Roid Duelist.
"Eh, I'm not worried about it." Judai shrugged off. "We earned our way to having fun! So I say we go for it!"
"Let's hope I can get out of this cast before the day shows up." The mutt pointed out.
"We have plenty of time." Jun nodded. "Besides, it takes a lot of planning before the day of, anyways."
"Plus, we'll be meeting all of our Duel Spirits in person too." Kuromu added.
"Eh?! That's actually a thing?! Duel Monster spirits actually showing up?!" Sho gawked.
"I mean yeah, why do you think it's called th-" Rex's confused expression soon turned smug as he looked at Sho. "Ohohohoho~ I think I know why."
"Huh?" The Roid Duelist looked at the mutt confused.
"Aw~ pining for a taken woman." Rika sighed.
"What are you talking about?"
"Dude, we saw you back at Kagurazaka's duel. We know." Koji said.
"Eh? EH?! EHHHHHHHHHHH?!" Sho cried out.
"Hmhmhmhmhm…" Ryo chuckled.
"Nii-san, what are you laughing about?!" Sho cried out in dismay.
"It's all right, buddy. All of us have card crushes at some point. You're not the first and won't be the last." Kuromu smiled. "Trust me, I would know."
Judai, Jun, and Rex gave him a shocked expression. "I'm sorry, what?" They asked in unison.
"What?" Kuromu looked confused, before giving a dry look. "Oh, like you three don't have any."
"I mean, Black Magician Girl is cute…" Jun said.
Rex merely shrugged, "Didn't have one."
"Yeah, because a girl already caught your eye." Koji said before getting smacked at the sides, "Oh, it's on, hound dog!" He growled as he grabbed a crutch and smacked the mutt's plastered leg, making him yelp.
"Hey, no fighting!" Junko and Momoe pouted as the disco fan and mutt smacked each other's injuries back and forth.
"What about you Judai? Did you have anyone special?" Misawa asked.
"I… I…" Judai began to trail off in an uncharacteristic manner, his smile becoming more mournful as he tried to say something.
"Judai?" Rika looked at him concerned as the words began to echo in the Elemental HERO Duelist's head.
"Judai? Where are you?"
"Judai. Oi, Judai." Kuromu called out, trying to snapping him out of it.
"Judai, don't leave me!"
"Judai!" Everyone called out in a shared shout, finally getting the Elemental HERO Duelist to snap out of it.
"H-Huh? What?" He asked.
"You alright?" Fubuki asked. "You looked distracted."
"Uh… sorry, just…" Judai said sheepishly, before deciding to dodge the question, "A-Anyways, what about you Kuro, who was your card crush?"
"Silent Magician." Asuka smirked knowingly, making Kuromu flinch.
"Called it! Pay up, losers!" Jun laughed.
"Yeah yeah, I'll get you the money after I get out of this cast." Rex groaned.
"O-Oi…" Kuromu muttered.
"It is true, is it not?" A familiar voice chuckled in amusement, as the spellcaster in question showed up.
"S-Shizuka-sensei…" Kuromu looked away with a blush.
"Wow, say her name and she appears." The mutt noted before looking at Koji, "Yo Koji, you see her now? I mean, you can talk to the Boogie Knights so…"
"Yeah, and she lookin' fine~" Koji smiled in appreciation.
"Hey, you got us, remember?" Junko and Momoe reminded their boyfriend.
"Hehe, busted!" Ojama Yellow snickered with his brothers.
"No need to feel ashamed, my apprentice." Silent Magician giggled softly. "To this day, I am still quite flattered."
"It's not like that's a bad thing." Urataros affirmed.
"Yeah, she's great." Bestrouli agreed.
"I certainly don't need to hear that from you, Urataros…" Kuromu grumbled.
"Great, there's two of them…" Rex groaned in agreement.
*BONG! BONG!*
"Oi, enough of this lovey-dovey crap, Ero-Kame! Ero-Toriyaro!" Momotaros snapped after smacking the two.
"Omelet?" The Foodon asked as, alongside Minerva, the pair were curious.
"W-When you're older." Rika hastily said. "A-Anyways, everyone, why don't we all head out? I'm sure a certain disco man needs his rest and would like some time alone."
"I'd leave too, but…" the mutt motioned towards his current state, shrugging afterwards.
"Gotcha. Oi, Manjoume." Judai said to Jun.
"Yeah yeah, I got it." The ace waved off before they wheeled Rex's gunnery out of the way.
"Whoa, whoa, dudes, slow down!" Rex cried out.
"You run faster than this! You'll be fine!" Jun said, as they moved along, much to Ayukawa's annoyance and went after them. The rest of the group followed suit, leaving Koji with Junko and Momoe.
"Heh, never a dull moment with those guys." The disco fan chuckled. He suddenly felt weight on either side of him as Junko and Momoe had laid next to him. "Uh… girls?" He blinked in confusion.
"You don't mind this… do you?" Junko asked, looking up at him.
"Well no, bu-"
He was interrupted by a kiss from Momoe. To say he was shocked was an understatement. His mind felt like exploding from the moment his lips touched hers. Before long, he was kissing Momoe back. The moment he broke the kiss, however, Junko turned his head and kissed him next. The three then just cuddled, happy to still be alive and still be together.
Planning for the Duel Monsters Spirit Festival was now underway. Samejima and his board of directors have all gathered at the conference room, including the Dorm headmasters. They were to discuss how this year's Duel Monster Spirit Festival is to be conducted. After all the craziness that has happened these past few days, the school definitely needed this.
"So, what's the plan for this year's festival?" The principal asked the board. He turned to Daitokuji. "Daitokuji-sensei, I'm sure your students have something fun for the others?"
"Well it seems that music has been on the rise lately-nya…" the Osiris Red dorm leader mused. "I've been in discussions with Kadoya-san, and he believes that a concert would be perfect for our dorm to sponsor-nya."
"A concert you say?" Samejima mused, before looking at Tsukasa, "Do you think Kaiba-san will approve of this?"
"I think he'd care less of what we do nowadays." Tsukasa shrugged. "But not to worry, I've got… "sponsors" that will pay for the show."
"Ah yes, your other colleagues. Much appreciated from them." Samejima chuckled weakly.
"Given the top fashionistas are finally looking at Dueling as less kid's stuff and actual art, about time." Instructor Chronos sighed.
"There's also something that the students want to see." Tsukasa said.
"And what would that be?" Samejima asked before the dimensional Rider whispered what it was into the principal's ears. The principal perked up and nodded, "I think this could be Osiris Red's best project yet. Very well. I'll let you handle that particular project at your discretion."
"Trust me. If there's one thing I've seen Osiris Red can do well, it's the wildest of ideas." Tsukasa chuckled.
"Alright, and what about you Kabeyama-sensei? What will the Ra Yellows be doing?" Samejima asked.
"My students will be handling the food stalls this year as always." Kabeyama answered. "Miss Ryuzaki from Obelisk has been especially helpful with the food as of late. I couldn't pass up the chance to have her help at the stalls this year and cook up some delicious meals for the students to enjoy."
"And you Ayukawa-sensei? Any ideas from you?" Samejima asked the nurse, "Given how everyone's chimed in on their ideas, it's only fair to hear from you."
"I suppose that Obelisk Blue can handle the Cosplay Contest this year. It's normally the Osiris Red students that do that, but since Kadoya-san proposed the concert and this second mystery project, I can step in for the Cosplay Contest." she offered.
"Very well, I think that should be all." the principal stated with a smile.
"I'll get in contact with my colleagues." Tsukasa said, before leaving the conference room and pulling out his cell phone to make some calls.
"Hm? Chou Eiyuu Sai?" Kuromu blinked as he and the others were having a meeting at the Osiris Red cafeteria, Tsukasa being at the head of this meeting. Rex had finally gotten out of the cast after a couple more days of recovering and was currently doing a lap around the school. Meanwhile, Koji is finally able to walk with the help of Junko and Momoe.
"Yeah, it's a kind of thing I found out from another world." Tsukasa explained. "A Superhero Festival essentially. It's a concert where various music artists come together and sing the praises of us Kamen Riders."
"What, like you guys are part of some Saturday cartoon lineup and the artists have theme songs for you guys?" Judai asked offhandedly.
"We're studying in a school to get better at a seemingly children's card game, I don't think we all got legs to stand on." Rex retorted as he arrived at the cafeteria.
"I see that you're enjoying running around again?" Tsukasa asked.
"Yep, looks like I didn't lose any speed from being cooped up in that body cast. Heck, I actually feel a little faster now." the mutt chuckled after doing some stretches.
"I see. But anyways, that's the gist of it. The Osiris Red dorm is going to be spearheading this project. Aruto and the others will gladly sponsor the concert as well as build the stage." Tsukasa said.
"Sweet! We get to see the Reiwa guys again!" Judai cheered.
"So… who's actually doing the singing?" Rika asked.
That's when Tsukasa held his tongue and just stared… at the students. It took everyone seconds to realize what he was implying.
"Is he… serious?" Misawa blinked.
"You want us to sing?" Asuka looked surprised.
"…This is awkward…" Rex muttered.
"Relax. It's just the entire student body and staff that's gonna listen in." Tsukasa smirked.
"What if one of us was tone deaf?" Jun asked dryly as everyone began looking at Judai with a stink-eye.
"What? I sing perfectly!"
"You singing in the shower was like nails on a chalkboard." Rex deadpanned.
"Trust me, that's just practice."
"Yeah, sure dude…" the disco fan scoffed.
"At any rate," Tsukasa interrupted, before holding up a few CD's. "I got a few songs you kids can choose from. Give them a listen, then you can decide who gets to sing what."
The group soon began to listen to the music as they chose which to play.
"Hey, these sound pretty good." Koji nodded with approval..
"Here's hoping we chose some good tracks." the ace hoped.
"So… what do you think, Asuka?" Kuromu asked with a sheepish smile. "Thinking of singing with me on this song?"
"It would be good." the Obelisk Queen affirmed with a smile of her own. "Sounds a lot of fun too."
The track choice process continued as everyone began to get jazzed up for the upcoming festival.
A few days later…
The Duel Monster Spirit Festival was finally underway. After days of preparation, the day was here. Students were out and about having fun. Some of them even dressed up as various Duel Monsters. The food stalls were filled to the brim with every kind of food that one would find, on the mainland. Needless to say, the atmosphere was lively, energetic, and cheerful. It was going to be a good day.
It was often stated that it was on this specific day that the barrier between the human world and the Duel Monsters worlds were at their weakest, allowing for Duel Spirits to walk around the various Duel Academias for a day, to experience this new world and even talk with other visitors from these varying worlds.
As the day went on, people were walking and talking with the many monsters that made up the legendary game. Some monsters were crowded around by various students due to their connection to the legendary Duelists that wielded their power, something Fubuki was currently experiencing…
"Uh, could you please not crowd around Red-Eyes please? I don't think he likes the attention." the elder Tenjoin stammered as the dragon in question was hiding behind some bushes to get away from the gaggle of students wanting to see it.
"Wow, who would've thought that Jounouchi-san's dragon would be shy?" Asuka murmured.
"I guess fame isn't really that particular Red-Eyes's best interest." Ryo thought.
"I just love the Duel Monsters Spirits Festival!" Rika smiled as she was outside the Ra Yellow Dorm at a booth, with her Foodons Fried Ricer, Sir Dumpling, Shrimp Daddy, Hot Doggone It, Omelet, and Burnt Meatballs helping out with her cooking.
"Yeah, this is the only me we can come out and play," One of the meatballs agreed.
"Uh-huh, we gotta make it the best day ever." Another meatball added in.
"Omelet!" Omelet agreed.
"Hot Doggone-It, you know it!" The hot dog Foodon joined in. "My hot dogs and burgers are gonna be the best ones anyone's ever eaten on the island! With a lil' kick from my ketchup and mustard! Yee-haw!"
"Fried Ricer!" The Fried Rice Foodon said happily.
"Sir Dumpling! Jolly good!" The dumpling Foodon added.
"Shrimp Daddy!" The Shrimp Foodon added.
"And it smells Kivat-delicious!" Kivat said as he was perched on Rika's shoulder.
"Pyun~ Pyun! I wanna eat now!" Tatsulot exclaimed.
"Calm down, daddy-o! You don't rush on good food." Koji added as he has his main Boogie Knights' DJ Flame, Aqua Mama, Tornado Hippie, Groove Stone, Thunder Roller, and Disco King with him.
"Has anyone seen Sho?" Misawa asked.
"He's currently acting as referee at the Osiris Dorm." Koji answered.
"For what though?"
"Go get it! Number 1!" An Osiris Red student wearing a Japanese cheer uniform called out as two dedicated cheer group dressed like red and blue cheer uniforms began cheering while the roar of the crowd was heard all throughout the dorm.
*DING! DING! DING!*
"Go! Go! Num~ber~ 1!" the students in the stands were cheering on.
"Alright Judai, let's see who's Winged Beast is Number 1!" Rex laughed as the two got ready to watch a big battle.
"Of course I know who's gonna win this one!" Judai grinned widely.
Sho then looked towards a fresh new stage built by Hiden Intelligence the day prior. Soon, the first of the two combatants landed, performing a three-point landing with his wings briefly splayed out.
"The skies are in the palm of my hand! I am the aerial ace of the Elemental HEROes! Elemental HERO Featherman! My wings will blow you away!" Featherman declared as the other Elemental HEROes cheered him on.
Then, his opponent then floated down with a small beam of light before taking up his own battle stance.
"Personally, I prefer the air! The Gladial Beasts' ace flier is here, Gladial Beast Bestrouli! Now, time to show you why we birds are kings of the sky!" the bird gladiator introduced himself to the roar of his fellow gladiators.
"Number 1 Battle! Ready… go!" Sho shouted.
As soon as he rang the bell, the two air-based monsters flew towards each other and began clashing fists. After a quick barrage of blasts, Featherman flew back and flapped his wings to fire out several super sharp feathers at his opponent. Bestrouli in turn, dodged each one and quickly fired off an arrow from his arm-mounted weapons.
As the battle waged on, the Osiris Red students were cheering both fighters on; which was the sight that Kuromu and the others were greeted by as they arrived. There were also some Ra Yellow and Obelisk Blue students there that were enjoying the battles and even cheering on the combatants in a dedicated cheer squad.
"Looks like they just started." Kuromu commented as he and the others arrived.
"What are they even doing?" Asuka questioned the dorm members as the two aerial warriors continued to clash.
"It's a Number 1 Battle." Jun explained as he went towards the group, "We've been having battles between everyone's Duel Spirits to see who's the best of the best in various categories, and right now Judai and Rex are having Featherman and Bestrouli fight to see who's the Number 1 Winged-Beast Monster."
The others nodded as they returned their gaze towards the fight, where Featherman quickly wrapped his wings around himself and began an aerial drill. Bestrouli saw this and quickly grabbed onto the drill. Feathers began to fly as he held on before he flew up and quickly brought the hero down in a seismic Izuna Drop.
However, that wasn't enough to put Featherman away as the avian hero quickly recovered and fired out another Feather Shot. In response, the bird gladiator rocketed forward and grabbed Featherman with his talons before lifting him up and spinning around like a mini-twister, smacking the avian hero around.
"Don't give up, Featherman!" Judai called out.
But that was when the Elemental HERO Duelist saw Featherman smirk. Like clockwork, the avian hero grabbed one of Bestrouli's arms and quickly landed a powerful judo throw to the ground. Bestrouli was able to right himself before he and Featherman began dashing into each other in a series of rapid aerial strikes. The crowd were amazed by the fight at hand as the two aerial monsters clashed in their home turf. However, as Bestrouli was about to fire a blast from his arm cannon, Featherman performed a barrel roll to get right behind the bird gladiator and grab him by the back of his neck. The bird gladiator didn't have any time to react before he was flung into the arena, shaking it but not breaking it.
Before the bird gladiator could get back to his feet, Featherman splayed out his wings which caused several feathers to appear before he flapped them forward, creating a vortex of feathers that knocked the bird gladiator around and finally took him out. After a bit, Bestrouli fell to his knees before finally crumpling to the ground.
"Winner: Elemental HERO Featherman!" Sho declared as the avian hero pointed to the sky, confirming his new status as Osiris Red's Number 1 Winged Beast.
"Oh yeah!" Judai cheered with a fist in the air. "How do ya like that, Rex?!"
"Ugh, damn it all!" the mutt groaned.
"Alright, let's get moving with the next Number 1 Battle! Time to see who's the Number 1 Warrior Fusion Monster!" Sho called out as Diecarii and Laquer helped Bestrouli off the arena and get healed up, "Can the two Duelists and their Monsters take to the battlefield?"
"Do you want to try, Kuro?" Asuka asked.
"Sure why not? Besides, I know a certain Imagin is itching for a fight anyways." Kuromu smirked. "Oi, Momotaros!"
"Yosha! Let's get on with the fight!" Momotaros declared as he dragged Ryotaro to the battlefield.
"Muri dayo, Momotaros!" Ryotaro complained.
"Aw come on, time for us to prove we're Number 1!" the oni Imagin chuckled as the other Imagin arrived on the battlefield.
"Wai wai, this is gonna be fun!" Ryuutaros cheered.
"Our strength will make whoever we face cry!" Kintaros gruffed, with a crack of his neck.
"It would be fun to see what it means to represent Fusion." Urataros mused.
"Haaaa… I guess there's no other choice." Ryotaro sighed, accepting his fate. "Alright then. Momotaros, let's go."
"Sweet! Pile on, everyone!" Momotaros called out before turning into spirit form and possessing Ryotaro, much to the surprise of the audience. Ryotaro's hair went spiky and had his red streak of hair, before putting on the Den-O belt. He then took out what appeared to be a red phone, opened it up, then dialed a set of numbers.

Afterwards, he pressed the silver button on the side and slapped it onto the front of his Driver.

As Den-O's base form appeared, his main chest armor was replaced by a red chest plate with rounded shoulders and a circular train track on the front. However that was going to last as the other Imagin became pieces of armor resembling their visors, though for Sieg he became a large set of wings, that quickly attached themselves to the train Rider. Both Urataros and Kintaros attached themselves onto Den-O's shoulders whilst Ryuutaros and Sieg attached to the front and back respectively. Finally, Den-O's helmet opened up to reveal a new red and yellow set of eyes with his normal red eyes now serving as side ornaments.
"Look at that!" Sho cried out in shock.
"Eh?" Momotaros blinked as he felt that something was on his back. "Nani? What's this fluttery thing?" He asked, before he realized in horror. "Tebayaro, omae ka?!"
"It's beautiful, is it not? Be grateful."
"Bakayaro! This is still awkward! Get out!"
"Wai, Tori-san's stuck on!" Ryuutaros cheered.
"Chotto, Kin-chan, don't push." Urataros complained.
"It's cramped, I don't have a choice!" Kintaros said.
"Retainers, do not distress."
"We are distressed!" Momotaros shouted angrily.
"Ahem…" a person cleared his throat as Den-O Chou Climax Form saw three individuals standing on the opposite end of the arena. The individuals in question were the three face card knights: Queen's Knight, King's Knight, and Jack's Knight. They made up part of the Duel King's best lineup of monsters when they required offense, defense, or even tribute.
"Are you finished?" Jack's Knight asked as he stepped forward.
"Oi, we're in the middle of something here, pipe down!" Momotaros said rudely.
"Momotaros, I think that guy's our opponent." Ryotaro pointed out.
"Wait, he is?" The train Rider asked before looking towards the young man.
That was when the elder King's Knight and his wife Queen's Knight quickly transformed into balls of orange and red lights that flew straight into Jack's Knight, transforming him.
Jack's Knight's armor had changed drastically now wearing black armor under a black bodysuit. He wore a black skirt over his black leg armor that was underneath, held by a golden belt ornament that spiked downward. His shoulder armor was over-decorated, having yellow frills under them and yellow gems on the side. His helmet was black with a golden crown with embedded jewels and his hair was purple, alongside a sword and shield he was equipped with.
"Woah! The heck happened to him?!" Den-O gasped.
"He fused with those other two knights." Ryotaro answered. "Sort of…"
Kuromu was ecstatic to see this appear, as he had learned about the card releasing in the most recent booster pack.
"Arcana Knight Joker…! This is awesome!"
"With the power of my king and queen, I will fight with everything I have! Arcana Knight Joker! Now, have at thee!" the powered-up Jack's Knight declared.
"O-re, sanjou! From start to finish, I'm at a climax! Kamen Rider Den-O… Chou Climax Form!" the train Rider declared.
"Are the fighters ready?" Sho asked the two combatants.
"Yeah, ring the bell already dammit!" Den-O said, unable to contain his urge to fight.
With that, the Roid Duelist took in a deep breath before shouting, "Number 1 Battle! Ready… go!"
"From start to finish, I'm at a climax! Ikuze, ikuze, ikuze!" Den-O shouted, before charging towards Arcana Knight Joker.
The two clashed blades as Kuromu and friends took their seats with the rest.
"So, what other Number 1 battles happened?" The Rider Duelist asked.
"Well, we had a Number 1 Dragon battle between Harpie's Pet Dragon and Thousand Dragon." Judai said, "Would have been cool to see Blue-Eyes vs Red-Eyes but there's no chance of that happening."
"I heard that Black Magician Girl and Silent Magician are going to do a Number 1 Spellcaster battle after this one." Rex recalled, "Since we just had a Number 1 Cutest battle between Critter for the Fiend side and Winged Kuriboh for the Fairy side."
"Yeah, my buddy Winged Kuriboh totally won that one!" Judai cheered.
"Kuri! Kuri!" the winged fuzzball cooed, landing on Judai's shoulder as it performed some strongman poses to prove its strength.
"That's swee- wait, Mana and Shizuka-sensei?" Kuromu got out, "They're fighting after this?!"
"Someone's excited." Asuka smirked, making Kuromu flinch.
"A-Asuka, c'mon!" Kuromu cried out in dismay. "You know you're the only one for me!"
"Oh don't worry, I know that." Asuka smiled, leaning on him from the side. "Just a friendly reminder, that's all."
"You sure picked a good one, dude." Rex said, his eyes still on the fight as he gave a thumbs up to the Rider Duelist.
"Ehehe… yeah…" Kuromu smiled sheepishly with a sweat drop.
Back to the fight, Den-O quickly performed a series of wild swings towards the black armored knight. But, Arcana Knight Joker was quicker on the draw, blocking each of the train Rider's strikes with his shield before retaliating by grabbing Den-O mid swing and throwing him down to pop him into the air. He then performed an upwards slash to keep the train Rider airborne long enough to deliver a leaping spin slash to rack the damage up.
"Why you!" Den-O snarled before he gripped the DenGasher with both hands and brought it down on Arcana Knight Joker in a double-handed downwards slash maneuver.
This forced the black armored knight to block with his shield once again and safely land. He then put the DenGasher away as Urataros, Kintaros, and Ryuutaros moved their armor pieces to Den-O's right side, with the bear Imagin becoming a bladed knuckle weapon for the train Rider to wield. Using Sieg's flight ability, Den-O rocketed forward and socked Arcana Knight Joker with the blade and caused him to skid back. He then began to land punch after punch with his new weapon until the train Rider saw Arcana Knight Joker take a stance and quickly parry his attack to deliver a shield bash to knock him back to his normal form.
"Damn, they don't call Jack's Knight the ace of the Poker Knights for nothing." Koji commented.
"Especially since he has that boost from King's Knight and Queen's Knight." Rika added.
Soon, Arcana Knight Joker took a stance and quickly lifted his sword into the air, summoning astral versions of King's Knight and Queen's Knight before creating a magic circle made up of the four playing card suits to trap Den-O.
"Here it comes! The signature attack of the Poker Knights! Royal Straight!" Judai cheered.
With determination in his eyes, Arcana Knight Joker dashed forward and began swinging his blade wildly at his trapped opponent, each slash causing one of the four suits to appear. Then, after several swings, the black armored knight leaped back and ended the attack with a forward thrust that detonated the magic circle and sent Den-O flying. He staggered back to his feet however, the train Rider still raring to go.
"Kono yaro! I'm gonna finish this now!" Den-O said, before pressing the button on the phone, producing an epic ring tone before using his Rider Pass to scan.
CHARGE & UP!
With that, he leaped into the air as the back wings quickly grew in size whilst Urataros, Kintaros, and Ryuutaros' armor pieces moved to protect his left leg. Once he reached a good enough height, Den-O rocketed back down with a flying side kick, his foot glowing a rainbow aura. Arcana Knight Joker tried his best to counter this with another Royal Straight, but Den-O was able to break through the magic circle and quickly send the black armored knight to the ground; cancelling out his fusion as King's Knight and Queen's Knight landed on the field whilst Jack's Knight laid on the ground unconscious.
"Winner: Kamen Rider Den-O - Chou Climax Form!" Sho declared, and the crowd cheered. Den-O raised his sword in the air.
"YOSHA! That's how ya do it!" Den-O cheered as King's Knight walked up to him.
The two shook hands before he and Queen's Knight helped Jack's Knight back to his feet. The ace of the Poker Knights, after waking up, also gave his acknowledgement to the train Rider.
"Well, that was honorable as ever." Misawa commented.
After a few more Number 1 Battles, the group went back to the front of the Ra Yellow dorm where the food stall tents were set up. Rika and a few of the other culinary inclined students from the three dorms went back to helping out with the food stalls.
"Wow! There's so much good food!" Judai cheered.
"Quick, someone restrain him!" Rex panicked.
"On it!" Jun said, as he, Sho, and Misawa started holding his arms and legs.
"H-Hey! Let's not get too hasty, fellas!" Judai yelped.
"After last time, we're not taking any chances! You are going to be assigned to a corner of the picnic tables and you're going to stay there!" Misawa gritted, struggling to pull him away from the stands.
"It was just one time!" The Elemental HERO Duelist argued.
"You nearly left us all with scraps!" Jun growled.
"Aniki, this is for your own good!" Sho said.
"Nooooooooooooooo!" Judai cried out before he was taken away.
"I guess you say he got his… Just Desserts." Kuromu chuckled.
"Boooo! Get off the stage!" Rex groaned.
"Better than Aruto-san's jokes, that's for sure." Kuromu shrugged.
The group, sans Judai, Sho, Jun, and Misawa, soon arrived at Rika's food stand as she was cooking things with her Fighting Foodons. Everything was laid out for all the students to see. It was practically a banquet, full of any and everything that one could imagine when it comes to good food.
"Damn, is this a school festival or a full-on party?" Koji chuckled.
"Yes." Rika smirked before noticing the lack of the Elemental HERO Duelist's presence.
"Impromptu restraining order." Kuromu jabbed a thumb at the struggling Judai, who was being tied to a tree… with chains.
"Oh my…" Shizuka muttered as she arrived.
"Ah, Shizuka-san." Rika noticed. "How did your bout with Mana go?"
"She put up quite the fight but I was able to come out the victor in the end." The Silent Magician mused as Mana arrived, a bit scuffed but okay.
"You really came a long way since the little girl you used to be." Mana smiled.
"Indeed." Shizuka nodded with a soft smile, "May we join you all for the feast?"
"Of course." Asuka nodded. "We don't mind. I'm sure Kuro would definitely like your company."
"You're really enjoying this, aren't you…" Kuromu deadpanned with a sweat drop before walking away, "I'm going to try and see what Misawa will allow Judai to eat."
"I think you may have taken the jest a bit too far." Shizuka smiled sheepishly at Asuka.
"I'm sorry…" she muttered.
"No need to apologize to me." Shizuka shook her head. "After all, his current demeanor proves that my apprentice still has eyes for you, and you alone."
This made Asuka blush.
Soon, everyone got their meal and sat at the picnic table nearest to the tree Judai was chained to. Luckily they didn't leave him starving as he had a bit more food than the rest, but the rest of the Osiris quartet made sure to keep an eye on him if he decides to go for seconds.
"So~ Sho, I hear you have quite the crush towards me." Mana smiled at the Roid Duelist, who did a double take.
"I-I-I well, I-I mean who doesn't? You're one of the most beautiful spellcasters in Duel Monsters!" Sho stuttered.
"Hey now, dude. She's taken, remember?" Rex chuckled before hearing some chains loosen, making him flinch.
"A man could always dream, y'know!" Sho huffed before noticing Rex's spooked expression.
"Judai's trying to escape!" The mutt yelped.
"Don't worry, I got it." Mana chirped, before waving her staff and magical chains re-secured the Elemental HERO Duelist.
"OH COME ON!" Judai shouted in dismay.
"Kuro, you got something on your face." Asuka said, taking a napkin and wiping BBQ sauce off the corner of his lips.
"Mou, Asuka, I'm not a kid," Kuromu pouted.
"Stop being pushy and let me clean you up." Asuka chided gently.
'They're squabbling like a married couple.' The group collectively thought with a knowing smirk.
"Hmhmhmhmhm, it is good to see this." Shizuka chuckled with a smile.
"No kidding." Rika agreed. "Given what he's been through, he really needs it."
"Dude needed a break." Rex added, "No one should experience the hell that Oogumo put him through."
Asuka finally got the sauce off of Kuromu's lips, "There, all clean."
"Mmmmmmm…" Kuromu pouted with a puffed cheek and a blush. "Thanks… I guess…" He then noticed the others staring at him. "What are you all looking at?"
Everyone quickly looked away and coyly acted like they saw nothing before going back to attacking their food. Or in the Osiris quartet's case, keeping a vigil on Judai.
Their next visit was at the Obelisk Blue dorm, which was one of the rare times where most of the Obelisk Blue students were tolerant of having the lower dorms, especially Osiris Red students, in the area. Ayukawa was handling the Cosplay Contest for this year, where any and everyone can dress up as their favorite Duel Monsters.
"Check it out, guys!" Judai chuckled, showing his costume of… a mish-mash of other Duel Monsters. A combination that involves the hat of Saggi the Dark Clown, the body suit of Magical Warrior Breaker, the boots of Executioner - Makyura, the shoulder pads of Elf Swordsman, and the shield of Gearfried the Iron Knight.
Jun was dressed as XYZ Dragon Cannon, but the costume was heavy and clunky as he had to walk a certain way to even move. He then noticed Judai's costume. "What the hell are you wearing?"
"Uhhh, I'm being creative?" Judai smiled sheepishly, "Still, sorry that I couldn't get those treads to work."
"Eh, you tried your best." the ace reassured him as he looked at his rather large boots, "It would have made this thing even heavier than it is now."
"Surprised you're going as one of David's Fusion monsters." Kuromu said as he soon walked out. To everyone's surprise, he was wearing a costume that made him resemble Contrast HERO Chaos, a half-and-half like Rider akin to W with a black and white side, two scarfs on each end, and a spiked helmet that had two horns and blue eyes, complete with helmet.
"Hey, not bad." Shotaro said, coming up to them, alongside Philip. "Reminds me of the Fang-Joker Form."
*ROAR!*
A mechanical toy-like raptor leaped onto Phillip's shoulder and let out a guitar riff-like roar to approve of Kuromu's costume.
"Looking slick dude." Rex said as he was in the middle of getting the head of his costume on.
"Thanks, though it's a bit of a tight fit." Kuromu said "How do you feel?"
The mutt soon stepped out in a costume resembling Phantom Beast King Gazelle, though the mutt had the costume's upper jaw up so that he could see, "Like I want to walk down the Yellow Brick Road. Hey Misawa, Koji. What are you guys dressed up as?"
Misawa stepped out in a costume similar to Death Swordsman of Litmus, while Koji dressed up as Boogie Knight DJ Flame.
"Like the threads?" Koji grinned.
"Down to the T, Daddy-O!" DJ Flame gave a thumbs-up.
"Oooh~oh! Look at you, Sugah! Lookin' fine with that." Tornado Hippie swooned.
"Yeah dude, you look great!" Thunder Roller agreed.
That was when the group looked at Asuka, dressed up as a Harpie Lady, her hair having a temporary dye of purple hair. She also had faux pointy ears, as well as wearing fake talons on her hands and feet. But most strikingly noticeable was the golden armor she wore, particularly… er-hem… the pointed area to say the least.
"Is that Asuka?" Kuromu said before having a slight blush. He quickly snapped out of it, "T-That's a great look for ya, Asuka,"
"Thanks," the Obelisk blushed.
"So what're Junko, Momoe, and Rika going, as?" Judai asked.
"The same thing for Junko and Momoe. That way we'll be that Harpy Lady Sisters!" Asuka recalled.
Rex then looked to the disco fan and Rider Duelists, "You two are lucky dudes." The mouth of his Gazelle costume fell down, "Blasted mouth." Rex lifted the mouth up so that he could see again.
"Hey guys, check it out!" Rika called out. "Sorry, I had to consult with Emu-san on getting this one right."
Everyone looked to see Rika's costume, but to their surprise, it wasn't a Duel Monster.
She was wearing what looked to be an outfit suited for dancing, with a yellow and white short-sleeves shirt that sported a yellow collar, a short yellow scarf that had a couple of musical notes, a pair of yellow fingerless gloves, a skirt that had a pixel-like design to it, two pink patches on it, green stockings that had pink splotches as it's design, and finally yellow shoes with neon green soles. She was also wearing a short pink bob cut wig that had a small yellow and green hat on it.
"Rika, that…" Asuka trailed off. "That actually looks cute."
"Wait, that's the main girl from DoReMiFa Beat." Rex recognized.
"You know her?" Kuromu asked before remembering, "Wait, I forgot. Genm Corp fan. Of course you'd know her."
"It's still surprising how Genm Corp exists in this world too." Emu noted as he arrived. "I'm more surprised that the Kuroto Dan of this world is actually… normal."
"What do you mean by that?" Kuromu asked, confused, to which Emu looked uncharacteristically uncomfortable.
"Uhhhh… let's just say that he has a very loose screw to the point that his insanity has become something of an inside joke, between my friends and I."

"…Hah?" Kuromu and Rex got out.
"Trust me, you'll know when you see it." Emu told them.
"Ladies and gentlemen, your attention please! The Cosplay Contest is about to begin!" Ayukawa announced over the PA.
Everyone soon perked up as they made their way towards the gathering of students where Ayukawa, who was the only one not dressed, was addressing the students. "Welcome to this year's Cosplay Competition. I'm pretty sure everyone's already pumped up after the Number 1 Battles, but now it's time to fight not with weapons but with style! And this year's panel of judges are none other than our very own dorm heads!"
To everyone's surprise, Daitokuji, Kabeyama, and Chronos sporting his old Obelisk Blue jacket arrived and sat at the judge's table.
"Eh?! I thought he's sporting the red jacket for the rest of the year!" Kuromu protested.
"Guessing it's just for aesthetics, he's still technically Osiris Red, but he's just wearing the thing to make it seem less biased towards our dorm." the mutt had to guess.
"I'm gonna have a talk with the Principal later on…" Kuromu grumbled, but he could see Rex's point.
Once that was done, everyone returned to the Osiris Red dorm, where the arena had been cleaned up of the various battle scars created by the Number 1 Battles and was now outfitted to be more like a concert stage. Everyone had gathered at the front of the stage where everyone was waiting for the show to begin. Backstage, most of the people signing are handling it well.
"What do I do? What do I do? What do I do? What do I do?"
Well… almost everybody.
"Sho relax, we're gonna be fine." Kuromu sighed. "We've practiced these past few days, haven't we?"
"Yeah, when there's no people around." Sho pointed out.
"Come on, this is our chance to show what true unity between the dorms looks like." Koji encouraged the group.
"Yeah, we're gonna do great!" Rika added. "I don't know about Judai, but-"
"HEY!" Judai snapped. "I can sing just fine!"
"Alright then songbird, prove it!" Kuromu said, "You guys are going first!"
"Wait, what?!" Sho panicked. "B-But I'm not ready!"
"No backing out now." Asuka giggled.
"HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, DUEL ACADEMIA!"
"Wait, what the fuck?!" Rex yelped as the audience cheered.
"Coming to you live from the Osiris Red Dorm, it's the first ever Duel Academia Chou Eiyuu Sai!" The voice announced. "I'm your host DJ Sagara where we're bringing you the best of the best songs ever sung by your fellow students!"
"Guessing he's one of your friends?" Kuromu asked Kouta, who had a huge smile on his face.
"You could say that."
"And now without further ado, ladies and gents! Our first song of the evening! Please give a huge round of applause for Yuki Judai, Marufuji Sho, Rex Taylor, and~ Manjoume Jun!"
The quartet soon got on stage as the Roid Duelist, mutt, and ace took up their stations on the instruments, leaving Judai alone on the mic stand.
"Hey there, everyone!" Judai called out to the crowd. "Hope you guys are ready for one awesome night! Because this is just the beginning! As one of Kuromu's Riders say, 'This is our stage now!'"
Everyone began to cheer while the others were slightly worried backstage.
"This is gonna suck…" Rika muttered.
The Elemental HERO Duelist took a deep breath. Kuromu and the others were prepared for the worst…

"If you could sing like that, why the heck does your shower singing sound like crap?!" Kuromu pointed out.
"Eh, didn't feel like putting the effort in." Judai shrugged off.
"Aw hell nah! We ain't gonna be upstaged like that!" Momotaros growled before looking at Urataros, Kintaros, and Ryuutaros, "Kameko, Kuma, Snot-Nosed Brat, let's go!"
"Yeah!" The other Imagin cheered.
"And now for our next group of singers!" DJ Sagara announced. "These four have been part of multiple Chou Eiyuu Sais of the past multiple times, so they know how to hype the crowd! Give your cheers for Momotaros, Urataros, Kintaros, and Ryuutaros, the Imagin!"
The four soon walked out on stage and everyone cheered for them.
"Yosha! What's up everyone?!" Momotaros called out to the crowd, to which they cheered. "We're here to rock your world!"
"So many lovely ladies here to see us today." Urataros said, "Dou? Boku ni tsurarete miru?" He swooned, to which the girls screamed loudly.
Kuromu sighed, "Of course he tries to flirt with the audience…"
"Our song is gonna be so great, it'll make everyone cry!" Kintaros nodded.
"Can you cheer any louder?! We can't hear you!" Ryuutaros said, to which the crowd cheered louder.
"Alright! From start to finish, we'll always go for the climax!" The oni Imagin declared.

"They absolutely loved it." Kintaros nodded with approval.
"Wai, wai, we rocked out there!" Ryuutaros cheered.
"Okay everyone, who's ready for the next song!?" DJ Sagara asked, to which the crowd cheered. "Good, now this next one is going to be sung by the freshman cook of Obelisk Blue! So please give your applause for the Fighting Foodon Master Chef, Ryuzaki Rika!"
"Welp, I'm up." Rika giggled nervously.
"Go get 'em, Rika." Asuka winked with a thumbs-up.
The chef nodded before running to the stage to greet the audience. "Hey guys! How are you all doing?!" She asked, to which they cheered. "I gotta admit, I'm a bit nervous, but I'll do my best for you all! Please enjoy the song!" She said, before getting ready.

"Yeah, you looked like you were having fun." Tsukasa smirked.
"Yeah, you were on fire!" Judai cheered.
"Hehe, thanks. I think." Rika smiled sheepishly.
"Alrighty, it's time for the next song! And this one is sung by one of your teachers no less! Well, sort of, but I won't get into that! Anyways, give it up for Kadoya Tsukasa!"
The dimensional Rider quickly walked onto the stage confidently. "Yo, everyone. You didn't expect a teacher like me to sing huh?" He asked, to which the crowd had a laugh. "Trust me I'm good at everything except taking photos." The crowd had another laughing fit.
"But you're not here for a comedy routine are you? You're here for music, right?" That callout got everyone pumped up once again. "Then listen to this!"

The crowd cheered at the end of the song, to which Tsukasa acknowledged with a thank you. With a smirk, Tsukasa walked to the back and was greeted by everyone being excited by his singing.
"Wow, that was awesome! Where did ya learn to sing like that?" Judai asked excitedly.
"Like I said, I'm good at everything but taking pictures." Tsukasa shrugged.
"And now ladies and gentlemen, it's time for our next song! Give it up for Shinamori Koji and Misawa Daichi!"
"Alright dudes and dudettes, wish us luck!" Koji grinned.
"You got this, you two." Sho smiled.
"Don't worry, it's all under control and fun." Misawa smiled, before the two Ra Yellows took to the stage.
"What's shakin' cool cats and foxy mamas?!" Koji asked, to which the crowd cheered.
"KOJIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!" Junko and Momoe cheered loudly.
"We hope you enjoy this next one!" Misawa said.
"Let's bring this next song to its peak! Hit it!" Koji declared.

After a brief tune, the guitars kicked in as both the disco fan and genius took a listen to the instrumental. Once their cue was up, they began to sing.

The song first became soft briefly, before going into a rocking solo, before the two sang their song again.

The song ended with a bang and the crowd once again cheered.
"Thank you! Thank you!" Koji waved to them.
"We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!" Misawa added.
With this, Koji and Misawa went backstage, gathering around the two. But more importantly, Junko and Momoe came rushing towards Koji, tackling him to the ground.
"Oof!"
"Ooooooh, Koji, you were cool out there!" Momoe gushed.
"Yeah, it was awesome!" Junko added.
"You're on." Koji simply told him as DJ Sagara began to hype up the crowd, "Alright! Well then, we have one more performance for you guys and it's our last performance of the night! And this song features two students you know very well! They're not a well-kept secret no matter how much they try to hide it! In fact, they might as well be Mr. and Mrs. Duel Academia!"
Kuromu sweat dropped, "That's a bit of stretch there, don't you think…?"
"Dude, have you seen how you two act around each other?" Koji pointed out.
"Yeah man, at this point, you got an entire student body planning your demise alongside old one-eye." the mutt pointed out, "Though thankfully for a lot more petty reasons than him."
"And now, ladies and gentlemen for our grand finale! Please welcome our pseudo-couple: The Comeback Rider, Kururugi Kuromu and the Obelisk Queen, Tenjoin Asuka!"
With that, Kuromu and Asuka took mics with the former having an electric guitar on him. "How's it going everybody?!" Kuromu asked as the audience cheered. "Great to hear! Well, as the DJ said, we got one last song for you!"
"Hopefully, we can end this festival with a bang!" Asuka said.
"I'd say we can. So let's do this! Hit it!"

The instrumental starts with a chord of notes from the keytar playing a ballpark organ sound, followed by a muted trumpet playing something that's detective noire theme, then the music started kicking up with the trumpets, guitars, and drums playing, and the crowd cheered.

At that point, Kuromu started playing a solo on the electric guitar and the crowd cheered wildly at that. When it was done, Asuka started singing again and W stepped up to a platform behind them, surprising the crowd.

As the song ended, the entire crowd once more erupted with applause and cheers, with everyone enjoying the performance. Though most of the boys grumbled something under their breaths.
"It should have been me, not him. It's not fair…" they collectively lamented.
Meanwhile, everyone else was watching the two hug and return backstage.
"Man, this has been so awesome!" Sho said excitedly.
"Nice teamwork, slick!" the mutt gave a thumbs up.
"Now that's how you end a concert!" Judai exclaimed.
"Thanks guys, that means a lot." Kuromu smiled.
After the concert settled down, staff members helped take the stage down and the area in front of the Osiris Red Dorm was replaced with a big bonfire and everyone was hanging out, and enjoying the afterparty.
Judai was chuckling as the group sat on the ground by the bonfire, "Dang, this is the best Duel Monster Spirits Festival ever!"
"Kuri! Kuri!" Winged Kuriboh cheered.
"It's too bad our parents couldn't watch it and the rest of the festival." Kuromu said. That's when Kuromu noticed Rex's sheepish look. The Rider Duelist became suspicious. "Rex, what did you do this time?"
"I may have asked a couple of students to livestream the concert…" the mutt chuckled.
"You what?" The Rider Duelist asked.
"It's nothing big, it's just the boys over at Osiris Red. No one big and fancy. I'm not made of money like lightning rod or Asuka." Rex reassured him, "Besides, not like anyone else is gonna see."
"Heh, well… much appreciated. At least they'll know we had fun." Kuromu chuckled before looking towards the bonfire.
However, that was when the group fell silent as they knew that their job wasn't done yet.
"One more…" The Rider Duelist said.
"And this whole madness ends." Asuka added.
"Frankly, I'm ready to put this war behind me once this is over." Rex muttered before leaning back onto the ground to stargaze. That's when the mutt noticed something that made him smirk, "The stars are shining bright tonight. Something tells me that's a good sign that we're coming out on top."
That is the hope of everyone on this island, especially for the Spirit Key Holders.
"Well well… that was quite the performance…" an unknown person mused as they watched the replay of the concert livestream. They were enthralled with the Osiris Red battles, dazzled by the Cosplay Contest held by Obelisk Blue, was left hungry by Ra Yellow's food, and finally cheering on during the Cho Eiyuu Sai concert. Yet one figure stood out for them.
They then zoomed in on the concert to this person, the unknown figure made a ring with their finger before grasping something out of thin air.
"I found you… my prey~."
