EPISODE 80 – The Playboy's Revenge
The King's Hotel restaurant, a haven of quiet elegance, was shattered by the arrival of a girl in a fancy, albeit not luxury, dress. Minjae and Jina, the jewelry CEO's daughter, stared in stunned silence as the girl sat down at their table.
Jina, her face a mask of annoyance, was the first to speak. "Excuse me? Who are you?"
The girl, who was in fact Micha, pushed her big glasses up her nose and offered a saccharine-sweet smile. "My name is Jessica," she said, her voice dripping with fake sweetness. "And I'm Minjae's long-time girlfriend. Though, he loves to have many girlfriends, he always comes back to me. But baby, why are you here with another girl?"
Minjae, stunned for a moment, suddenly burst into a silent, amused laugh, his mind already piecing together her plan. So, Miss Lollipop wants revenge, huh? Okay, I like it. Do your best!
Jina, however, was not amused. "What is this girl talking about, Minjae? Do you really have a girlfriend?"
Before Minjae could reply, Micha leaned in, her eyes fixed on his, a cold, challenging look on her face. "Of course I'm his girlfriend," she said, her voice dropping to a whisper. "And we just had a passionate French kiss in a motel yesterday, didn't we, baby?" Her eyes bore into his, a silent threat. Now, Minjae, what will you do? I'm ruining your date! Just wait and watch, I'm going to get you into more trouble than you can imagine!
To Micha's surprise, Minjae wasn't fazed. He was laughing, a low, rumbling sound that was both cruel and amused. He reached across the table and took her hand. "Oh, baby Jessica, I missed you," he said, playing along with surprising smoothness. "Why didn't you pick up my phone before? I thought you'd left me. Thank God you're back, my baby."
Micha, thrown off by his unexpected reaction, stuttered, "No, baby, I was just... tired from last night."
Jina, furious and shocked, stood up. "Minjae, you are a cheater!" she seethed, her voice echoing in the quiet restaurant. "My parents told me to give you a chance, but this is disgusting. I'll tell them everything. I'll never forgive either of you." With a final glare, she stormed out of the restaurant.
Micha, a triumphant smirk on her face, tried to get up and leave, but Minjae's grip on her wrist was like a steel trap. "So," he said, his smile now a cold, dangerous line. "You think you can ruin my date and just walk away happily?"
"I wanted revenge, and I got it," Micha said, pulling her hand away with a jerk. "You humiliated me. I did the same to you. We're even."
Minjae laughed, the sound a chilling contrast to the elegance of the restaurant. "You dummy girl," he said, pulling her closer. "Do you honestly think you can ruin me? I didn't even want this date. My parents forced me into it. I do it for them, but not because I care." His voice dropped to a low whisper. "I only like one-night stands."
Micha's eyes widened in fear. "If you come any closer, I'll scream!" she warned, her voice trembling.
Minjae's laughter filled the air. "Really? Do you think you can? This whole floor is booked by me. No one's coming to save you from me." He snatched her phone from her hand and put it in his pocket. "No phone. You said you had a French kiss in a motel last night. What about now, my little liar?"
"Let me go, Minjae! It's a crime! It's not fair! You said I helped you get out of the date, so why aren't you letting me go?" Micha pleaded, her voice rising in a panicked tone.
Minjae's smirk widened. "Don't try to change the subject. My parents wanted me to date Jina. They've wanted to arrange dates for me for a long time. There have been girls who wanted one-night stands, and girls who just wanted to show off. But you... you are different. You came here and ruined my date without my permission. And you wore that short dress. You look kind of sexy, and I want to have some fun. And I'm going to make you pay for this. Because nobody does anything to me without my permission."
With that, he lifted her onto his shoulder and carried her through the shocked crowd, ignoring her muffled protests. He walked into a private hotel room, threw her on the bed, and locked the door.
The Consequences
Micha scrambled to the corner of the bed, her body shaking with terror. Minjae, his expression unreadable, began unbuttoning his shirt. "Okay, okay, I get it!" Micha cried, her voice a desperate plea. "I'm sorry! I won't get revenge on you again! Please, please, just let me go! Don't do this to me, please!"
Minjae, half-naked, paid no attention to her pleas. He grabbed her legs and pulled her towards him, pinning her down. He kissed her wildly, brutally, "eating" the red lipstick from her mouth. As his lips moved to her neck, a thought flickered in his mind. I'm sorry, but you need this punishment, Micha. His intention was not to have sex, but to instill a deep, lasting fear in her. He wanted to make her understand the consequences of crossing him.
Just as he was about to kiss her neck, his phone buzzed. It was Kevin. An emergency CHIPER case. Minjae stopped, his body still looming over hers. He was about to get up when Micha, a sudden surge of adrenaline coursing through her, grabbed a glass from the bedside table and smashed it against his forehead.
Minjae let out a small cry of surprise and pain, a thin stream of blood running down his face. Just then, there was a knock on the door. He opened it, took a packet from the bellboy, and closed it again. He threw the packet at Micha.
"Get dressed," he said, his voice cold and hard. "Kevin called. Emergency case." He wiped the blood from his forehead with a handkerchief. "There's clothes in that packet. You have five minutes. I'll be in the car."
Micha, still sobbing, opened the packet to find her phone and purse, along with a set of clean, comfortable clothes. Her phone was buzzing with a text from Kevin, summoning her to the headquarters.
She changed her clothes, her hands still shaking, and went to the hotel entrance. She saw Minjae's car but tried to hail a taxi, wanting nothing more than to be as far away from him as possible. But Minjae, seeing her attempt, drove his car at a frightening speed towards her, stopping just inches away from her. Micha, in a panic, fell to the ground.
Minjae opened the window. "Get in the car," he said, his voice a low, dangerous growl. "I'm not going to ask again. And I swear, I will make you cry again if you don't get in this car."
Micha, her face pale with terror, got into the car. The silence was deafening, the air thick with fear and anger. Minjae just drove, a small, cruel smile on his lips. Their personal war had been put on hold, but the damage had been done.
