"The world was once alive... but it is no longer." All around is a desolate silence. Burnt trees, broken buildings, and a lone boy—Arav—walks slowly through the ruins of a deserted city. There is no dream in his eyes, only a glimpse of lost hope. "Is there anyone left alive? Will anyone really return?"
An old watchtower stands rusted but still upright. Arav is not alone in his mission; there is a weight on his shoulders—"I have to bring them all back." Arav murmurs to himself, "It's been ten years... I made a promise... and I will keep it."
In the darkness of the night, under the shining stars, Arav continues walking. Suddenly, something rustles behind the trees. He stops, slowly reaches behind him, and draws a knife. In his mind, he whispers, "Could it be that shadow again…?" But there is nothing behind the trees.
The next morning, Arav stands on a hill. The first ray of the sun touches his face. He says, "Not just morning, a new path. Maybe today... something will change." From there, Arav heads down to the village below the hill. What he sees is devastation—houses reduced to rubble, roofs fallen to the ground, and trees broken and scattered, as if an earthquake swept through. Arav moves forward.
Suddenly, he hears a girl's voice:
"Help… help… help… a tree has fallen on my leg, someone please save me!"
Arav listens and runs toward the voice. He finds a girl trapped under a fallen tree. She pleads, "Please save me." Arav says, "Wait, I'll get you out." He tries unsuccessfully to lift the tree but does not give up. The girl says, "Let me go, I can't be saved now, just leave me here." Arav smiles gently and replies, "I will save you." The girl blushes shyly. Finally, Arav lifts the tree off her.
The girl's leg is injured. She can't stand, so Arav lifts her onto his back and carries her to a safe place. As they walk, the girl says, "Thank you." Arav replies, "It's nothing… but how are you still here alone?" The girl explains, "When the red alert was declared in the sky, all the villagers quickly left their homes towards the yellow light. I wasn't there then. When I returned to the village, I saw it was empty. I called out, 'Is anyone there? Hello?' But after a while, I realized everyone had left me behind—my mom, dad, and all my friends—they all left me."
After a pause, Arav says softly, "I haven't even told you my name yet. I am Arav, and I have come to find those who remain in this world and bring them along with me."
