After John's session, Ethan's followed, leaving the trio still unaware of each other's backgrounds. Agent 10 subsequently gave each a summary of the other's past, excluding highly sensitive information.
Ethan: "Wow, Minami… Your life started great… but then it spiraled…"
Minami: "I know… but you, Ethan… your life is just a full roller coaster."
John: "Well, I gotta say… Everyone has had ups and downs… Especially Ethan…"
Ethan: "My life is MADE from ups and downs… I know… It's not average at all."
Agent 10: "Enough talking… let us train you… You are now a team… You should train and work together."
minami: "But we need a team name…"
agent 10: "No… we don't… let's call it team 3"
Ethan: "Wow… So creative… What about Hero Trio? No… Villain-busters?"
The team decided on the name villain-busters temporarily until they find a better name, and so Agent 10 practically dragged them all to an empty field to test their capabilities. First was John.
Agent 10 stood in front of John, a distance between them.
Agent 10: "Now… show me what you have… do NOT hold back"
John: "You sure you can handle it?"
Agent 10: "arrogance… the key ingredient for failure"
John flew towards Agent 10. His speed was impressive. He then summoned fire and shot it at Agent 10. Agent 10 dodged it, and chains came out of his body. The chains caught the fireball and threw it back at John.
John was barely able to dodge it, but he flew faster towards Agent 10. He grabbed John using his chains, then he leapt and climbed the chain, and then he got on top of John and pulled John upwards till he fell to the ground.
Just before crashing, Agent 10 jumped off of John and used the chain to increase John's velocity so he could make a bigger crash.
agent 10: "Such an amateur… You need to not only be stronger than the enemy but also smarter… not everything can be solved with brute force…"
It was now Minami's turn, Agent 10 got ready to fight her, and Minami was hesitant at first, but started to lift rocks to launch and shoot at Agent 10, but Agent 10 used his chain to wipe out every single rock…
Minami lifted a large, heavy rock and then turned the rock into spikes and launched all of the spikes at once at Agent 10, but Agent 10 used his chain to grab all the spikes and threw them back at Minami.
But Minami manipulated them to stop. Then she disappeared and tried to sneak-attack Agent 10 by teleporting behind him and using her powers to stop him from moving.
But Agent 10 anticipated it and caught her using his chain, then he turned to her and pulled her towards the ground, causing her to crash just like John.
Agent 10: "I see you tried to outsmart me? Well, at least you tried… but I noticed that we have a short-range and brawn-focused person… and a long-range and brain-focused person… You two will be perfect if you work together. now you… let's see how you work"
Ethan got ready, already knowing what to do, so he charged himself and launched himself at Agent 10 with a large blast. His speed was overwhelming to Agent 10.
So he was able to kick Agent 10 upwards, then, without waiting, he summoned lightning and made it strike Agent 10. Usually, that would be the end of a fight, but when Agent 10 hit the ground.
He got up and made his chain try to catch Ethan, but Ethan caught the chain and used the chain to throw Agent 10, then he sent electrical charges through the chain, causing Agent 10 to get electrified, but that was not the end.
Ethan focused his energy on his hands and created a ball of energy, then shot a beam out of his hand. The beam landed on Agent 10 and ended the fight. Agent 10 was now barely able to stand up.
Ethan: "I gotta say… You are the first one not to go unconscious from just two hits… haha!"
Agent 10: "You… your power is… too strong… how are you… this powerful…?"
Ethan just shrugged and helped Agent 10 up. The trio all followed as Agent 10 led them towards the hospital that is in the hero organization.
