Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The First Clue to The Lost Sword

Chapter 1: The First Clue to The Lost Sword

Azamgarh—a city where a mystery had been sleeping for centuries. But now, the time had come for it to awaken... and change everything.

The moon, hidden behind the clouds, had spread a blanket of darkness over the earth. In the midst of this darkness stood an old wooden cupboard, filled with ancient books and documents.

An old man was searching for something in that cupboard. His wrinkled fingers touched a very old book—a book that held a secret hidden for centuries.

His fingers paused on the dust-covered pages of the book. His eyes squinted in concern, and from his lips came a soft whisper—

"Shadowrix.... the time has come... the last heir will soon face his destiny..."

That old man was none other than 81-year-old Old Kaifon. He was well aware of the old mysteries of Azamgarh and the name DarkZael.

But Old Kaifon had no idea that someone was secretly listening to him.

However, that person couldn't hear everything, because Old Kaifon was reading in a very low voice. The man hiding near the door, listening to him, was none other than a spy of DarkZael.

The Conspiracy of DarkZael

DarkZael, the ruthless Sultan, whose eyes nurtured only one dream — an empire where only his name echoed.

He was in search of a dangerous thing—something that could give him invincible power.

Old Kaifon had finally found the clue—a worn, faded map, hidden in a centuries-old mysterious book.

It was the same enigmatic map that, until now, was only spoken of in whispers and legends—the one that was the key to reaching 'Shadowrix.'

But unfortunately, the spy also caught a glimpse of that map.

Old Kaifon immediately realized that someone was spying on him. But before he could take any action, the spy had already escaped and went straight to inform DarkZael.

As soon as DarkZael received the news, he gathered his soldiers and marched toward Old Kaifon's house.

DarkZael vs Old Kaifon

Though Old Kaifon had aged, there was still sharpness in his eyes and courage in his heart.

As soon as DarkZael entered the house—

Old Kaifon (casting a sharp glance) —

"You... how dare you cross the threshold of my house, DarkZael?"

DarkZael (bursting into laughter, with a strange gleam in his eyes) —

"You think you can stop me, old fakir?"

DarkZael moved forward with a cold laugh.

There was a strange gleam in his eyes—not of victory, but of the hunger for possession.

"Old Kaifon," he said firmly,

"Do you really think an exhausted old man like you can stand in my way?"

He took a few more steps closer.

"Alexander conquered the world with his sword... and I will reshape it with my mind.

But the difference is—he had a sword, and I will have ' ShadowRix '."

He leaned in and whispered:

"And the first step to this mystery... is you, old man.

Show me the way—or be ready to serve me forever."

Old Kaifon's eyes flared with anger—

"That dream of yours will remain just a dream! And what path are you talking about?"

DarkZael narrowed his eyes and said—

"Shadowrix... where is it... do you really think you're the only one who knows this secret?

I've been searching for it for ten years! My quest ends today!"

Old Kaifon (in a low but firm tone, locking eyes with DarkZael):

"You should think twice before uttering that name, DarkZael.

That sword was not made to satisfy your hunger for greed."

DarkZael (letting out a cold laugh):

"Your warnings can't stop me, old man. I will take what I want."

Old Kaifon (seriously):

"It is a legacy—for the heir who stands for justice and faith. And yes, that heir still breathes."

DarkZael (with a dangerous smile on his face):

"You're trying to scare me, but I'm not one of those who fear!"

Old Kaifon (calmly, then with a slight smile):

"I think... you should be afraid—not of him, but of the day when he realizes his true strength."

DarkZael demanded the location of the map, but Old Kaifon refused to give him any information.

But fortunately, Old Kaifon had already anticipated this turn of events.

He had hidden the map where no eyes could ever reach it—a place where only the breath of the true heir could find it.

DarkZael Attacks on Old Kaifon

DarkZael shouted in anger, "If you won't tell me, I'll make you spit out the truth by force!"

He ordered his soldiers, "Search every corner of the house!"

As the soldiers began searching the house, Old Kaifon tried to escape.

But DarkZael and his army immediately began chasing him as soon as they saw him fleeing.

The soldiers carried a dangerous weapon—a small, sharp pin that could paralyze anyone from a distance.

"Swishhh!"

With a sharp sound in the air, the small pins were thrown toward Old Kaifon, as if they would reach him at lightning speed!

"Ahh!"

Old Kaifon tried to protect himself, but three pins pierced his shoulder and back!

Blood started dripping, but he did not stop—staggering, he hid himself in the darkness.

DarkZael's soldiers couldn't find him and eventually left the place.

Now, Old Kaifon had only one mission left—to find the last heir, before it's too late.

Entry of Draxon

The next day — afternoon.

Draxon, the son of a merchant…. Honest…. Kind-hearted…. Always ready to help others.

But... was this truly his destiny?

Deep down, Draxon was never satisfied with his life.Every night, as he lay on the rooftop, he would stare at the sea of stars and dream.

He believed — he wasn't just an ordinary boy; there was something inside him... something far greater.

As Draxon was walking down the dusty road, a sudden scream echoed.

And then — an old man stumbled into the street and collapsed right in front of him... it was none other than Old Kaifon…

In a weak, trembling voice, Old Kaifon whispered,

"Draxon... listen carefully... you are the last heir... the sword... ShadowRix... you must protect it... before it's too late..."

Draxon froze in shock.

"What sword? What is 'ShadowRix'? The last heir? I don't understand anything!"

(Draxon's face was drenched in sweat, his heart pounding fiercely.)

He shook Old Kaifon, trying to get more answers from him.

But Old Kaifon, critically wounded, took his final breath... and left the world.

Now, a storm of countless questions began to rage inside Draxon's mind.

First Attack on Draxon

Within moments, a crowd started gathering around the square, as if someone had beaten a war drum.

From among the crowd, a middle-aged man pointed his finger and shouted—

"Hey! That's Draxon... did he attack this old man?"

Draxon desperately tried to explain that he was innocent.

For a few tense moments, silence filled the air... then a woman from the crowd softly said—

"Maybe he's telling the truth... that fear on his face looks like the fear of someone innocent."

But DarkZael's spies were already present, watching everything unfold.

Draxon hurried toward his home,

But as he turned into the narrow alleyways, silent shadows started creeping behind him—DarkZael's agents were now dangerously close.

The spies launched an attack.

Thud!

Draxon fell to the ground. Two masked men rushed toward him from the front.

"You can't run now!"

The first man lunged from the right, but Draxon ducked to his knees, dodging the grip, and slammed a punch into the man's stomach.

"Ugh!"

The man staggered back, but just as the second attacker was about to strike, Draxon pressed himself against the wall and slipped into the shadows of the alley.

The spies couldn't find him and eventually left the area.

Now, Draxon realized he was trapped in a deadly mystery.

Old Kaifon's last words still echoed in his mind: "ShadowRix... the last heir..."

:- Will Draxon find the answers to his questions?

:- Will DarkZael uncover the truth about the heir?
