Meanwhile at the Todoroki Office…
While the news was breaking of Deku's kidnapping of Katsuki Bakugou (Hero Name: Great Explosion Murder God Dynamite), Endeavor (Enji Todoroki) was furious. Even All Might's protege seemed to be getting all the glory and shit. A loud crash reverberated throughout the office as an explosion of anger came from the main office. As frightened sidekicks came to see what the commotion was, they quickly rethought the action as the entire office and the surrounding rooms were ablaze. An exaggerated sigh was heard in the background as a tall figure walked up behind the terrified sidekicks. They had seen Endeavor upset before, but he'd never reacted like this.
"Fun, now we have to rebuild...again" The voice was a dry, almost monotone drawl. That voice could only come from Endeavor's son, Shoto Todoroki. Shoto looked at the sidekicks and told them to go downstairs and keep an eye on the map. They kept a map of all of their properties and what was happening in case they needed to send muscle or collect money. They quickly obeyed. Anything to not be anywhere near Endeavor's rage. As they scurried down the stairs, Shoto outstretched his hand and rolled his eyes before icing over the room. He had the best of his mother and his father. His father's quirk, hellfire, and his mother's ice quirk. His red and white hair even displayed this. Red for his fire side and white for his ice.
"Shoto, do you know how fucking embarrassing it is to be shown up by a fucking kid?! I am the number two villain and All Might's fucking experiment is stealing the show."
With another roll of his eyes, Shoto leaned against the doorway as icicles fell from the ceiling as the ice began to melt. His father cared way too much about appearances, this would run so much smoother if he just ran the fucking office and stopped caring about who was getting more publicity.
"Like you said, he's a kid. Face it, you're an old man. We have more important things to worry about. We are expanding into Hosu and none of the shit we need to do is done because all you do is fucking stalk All Might!"
With a heavy sigh, Endeavor turned around and leaned against the smoking half burned, half frozen pile of wood that used to be his desk. For some reason, getting one over on All Might and coming out on top has been an all-consuming mission. Pfft, he should be number one. He'd been noticing how weak the man has gotten. He acts all tough and shit, but something was seriously wrong. He was going to find out what it is and exploit the shit out of it.
"That man has been the bane of my existence for as long as I can remember. I don't know why the fuck he is number one. We should be in the top spot. There's something about that Deku kid. I can't put my finger on it, but there's something not right."
Shoto shook his head as he pushed off against the wall. He couldn't stand here and listen to him ramble on about All Might again. He would snap.
"I don't know, dad. I have better shit to do than to worry about All Might. I have to go set up OUR fucking businesses because YOU have your head up All Might's ass"
With a soft growl, Shoto turned and quietly stormed downstairs to actually try and accomplish something. This left Endeavor at his desk fuming, but he had a soft spot for his son, even if he didn't really show it that often. He needed Shoto more than he knew. As he watched Shoto walk away he called out in vain.
"Shoto! Come back here!"
Shoto ignored his father and headed out of the building. Deku...he was always causing trouble. He was a problem that soon needed to be taken care of. Since the news broke, he'd been thinking. There was only one reason that Katsuki Bakugo was kidnapped. Out of all the heroes left, he had the most potential to be a villain. If Deku got Bakugo on his side, they would really be a problem. His father could never see past his mission of besting All Might. This was a problem that he would have to deal with on his own.
