Ruth took a deep breath, spat out the penis, and calmed herself down.
"What's wrong? It's so late and you're still not asleep. Don't stay up late with that big belly of yours."
"I was afraid Luis would come back in the middle of the night and sleep on the sofa without a blanket, so I brought a quilt down."
Lily said at the door, "Mom, big sister said you don't have to worry about her. She can handle it."
"Hmph, let's talk after she handles it. Is there anything else? Mom is using the bathroom."
Ruth resumed her impatient tone. Lily naturally wouldn't provoke her angry mother and immediately said, "Mom, I'm going back to sleep. Don't stay up too late either."
