Chapter 44 - Ten Years (Part 1)

Ten years pass like an arrow.

Time flies like water. Childhood is fleeting and never returns. The green and tender years of spring have quietly entered between the fingers of young boys and girls.

The gurgling spring water, clear and transparent, meanders and winds around the soft and smooth back of the girl's hand, and her fingers gently stroke water marks on the surface of the water. "Lingling" a few crisp sounds, from time to time, it drizzled the bright red wild fruit in the girl's slender fingers, and the water dew on the wild fruit was quickly wiped away by the girl's fingers.

The beautiful girl washed and rinsed the fruit in her hand in this way. She repeated this several times. Immediately, the wild fruit became bright red and fragrant with a sweet and mellow aroma.

With a soft, crisp "crack", the bright red fruit was instantly bitten out by the girl with a small mouthful of milky white flesh. A crystal-clear drop of juice slid down the girl's rosy and delicate lips. It gradually solidified on the girl's tiny chin, as if a pearl had fallen onto a jade plate.

The girl's delicate and charming face was faintly imprinted by the quiet brook. Like water, like jade, like the moon. In the big, shining eyes of the young girl, a wisp of clear and elegant black hair in the water shadow slipped down her eyelids quietly. The girl stretched out a delicate finger, gently brushing it over, and gracefully brushed the wisp of black hair to the base of her shy ear, which was as delicate as jade and orchid.

A faint smile had already curved her rosy lips. The girl picked up a few more bright red wild fruits from her scallion fingers. "Jia --" another crisp sound, the beautiful girl stood up gracefully. Under the pale blue dress, a graceful figure was gracefully set off, long, clear, graceful, and graceful...

The gentle breeze sweeps, and the "sasa" green bamboo is clear and bright. The warm sunlight shines in the bamboo grove, elegant and ethereal. The pale blue figure, bathed in the warm sunlight and set off against the dappled emerald bamboo grove, was like a budding fairy flower. Stepping along a "ding-dong" winding stone path and following the gurgling stream, I made my way lightly towards the bamboo grove.

The charming figure of the maiden receded and disappeared into the emerald bamboo grove.

The small wan wind blows the depths of the bamboo forest, sometimes from the "fast" strong breeze, with the cool and refreshing in the morning, seems a little out of place. Looking in the direction of the sound, the wind seemed to be faintly coming from the lower reaches of the stream. Through the thick bamboo, over the tinkling stone steps, and along the stream, it descended lightly.

Ahead, the green bamboo shadows gradually faded, and the stream opened up in front. It turns out that in the deep bamboo grove, there is an open space tightly enclosed. If one had not followed the stream and stepped along the stone path to find it, the tranquility here would have been extremely hard to discover.

In the middle of the clearing, there was a dashing young man, with curly hair, clear eyebrows and eyes, and a face as sharp as a knife, but he was very handsome. The figure rose in the air, swirling layers of green leaves in the open space, transforming like a dragon or a snake.

The young man had a bamboo about seven feet long in his hand, which he split, cut, flew and swirled. Sometimes like a dragon diving into the water, sometimes soaring like a dragon in the sky. Bamboo sweeps by, the wind bursts, the howling of the sky soars casually. The finger gesture flashed, the toe pointed, and the green shadows were pleasing to the heart.

The young man, dressed in a sky-blue robe with a pale black sleeve, moved his hands and feet, creating a fierce wind. Layer upon layer of green bamboo leaves, along with the seven-foot-long bamboo in the young man's hand, from time to time swirled in the air, invisible swordsmanship like a blade, lingering for a long time.

After a short while, the sword wind under the bamboo in the young man's hand swirled and then swirled again. The invisible sword qi, in an instant, forced the air currents to form swirling sword qi vortices in the air. Just looking at the layers of green leaves, in an instant, they were swallowed up by the vortices of sword qi.

"Whoosh --" The bamboo follows the hand, the sword is in the heart. Just as the young man gave a light glance, the sword vortex dispersed in a flash, and instantly chewed the bamboo leaf that had been swallowed into dust.

"Good!" In the distance, from the shadow of the green bamboo came a beautiful fairy praise like a silver bell, "Red sweet fruit - continue!"

The melodious sound flashed by like the light music of a bell. "Whoosh - whoosh!" Three red shadows, as swift as a flash, came in an instant from the shadows of the bamboo grove.

The young man, with quick hands and eyes, saw that the three red fruits would strike heavily on his head. The "whoosh whoosh whoosh whoosh" in the wind seemed to be several times stronger than usual. The boy, of course, knew the pain of being hit.

"Whoosh - whoosh!" " The young man swept the long bamboo in his hand, but the formation had changed under his feet. Looking at the three invisible sword qi vortices, they instantly covered the three crimson wild fruits. The wild fruit was tightly wrapped in layers of sword qi, and the force of the swirling was gradually dissolved by the sword wind, gradually stopped and ceased. The three fruits were already firmly placed on the green bamboo pole in the young man's hand, neatly arranged in a row.

The young man giggled, full of confidence. A gentle warmth in his bright eyes was slowly cast upon the girl in the shadow of the bamboo. "Elara - I knew you would do this again! Hey --"

"Really?" There was a hint of teasing in the girl's coquettish voice. The young man just caught it and chuckled, "There's one more!" As soon as the giggling faded away, "whoosh" a red shadow flew over.

The young man's eyebrows were slightly furrowed, then he turned around with his feet, and the bamboo in his hand was just a light change of position, not startling the three wild fruits on the bamboo pole. With the other hand, he grabbed it out of nowhere, "Snap!" With a crisp sound of no small size, it quietly spread out through the bamboo grove. At first glance, the wild fruit had already landed in the young man's hand.

The young man lifted his sleeve and wiped it on his forehead, and a handful of sweat had silently moistened the sleeve. "Ga --" accompanied by the chewiness of the young man's mouth, "So sweet!" Two words of praise came out of the mouth. The young man took three wild fruits in his hand, and the green bamboo pole was already deeply planted under his feet.

At this moment, in the shadow of the bamboo, the pale blue figure of the girl, with light steps, chewing the sweet red sweet fruit, came over with a smile. Between the lotus steps, the elegance is lingering. A blush that rose above the bare face was more beautiful than a lotus. Such a fairy comes and goes, and one can't help but feel the heart flutter and the ripples.

"It's chosen so carefully, how could it not be sweet?" The girl's words were elegant, but the affection was deep, and it seemed to carry some kind of inexplicable tenderness. Such a bright red fruit, after being washed by the cool stream, is not only sweet and wonderful, but also refreshing. Of course, it was the girl who had put a lot of thought into it and sent it over quietly.

"Giggle... I mean, sweet fruit, how could it be sweeter than your smile?" The young man gazed deeply into the girl's beautiful eyes, and a tender whisper had already touched the girl's heart. Under the bright eyes, a blush instantly brightened the girl's delicate beauty, as if a hibiscus was slowly blooming, gorgeous and enchanting.

"Vulgar!" The girl, though her words are coquettish, is actually sweet in her heart. Under the dim and lowered eyelids, the crimson sweet fruit, which had already been attached to her red lips, was this time just a small bite taken by the girl, chewed carefully and savored quietly. Sweet, really sweet!

Then, looking up, I saw the young man staring at me in a daze. My heart stirred, I pursed my lips and said, "Kellen, Grandpa asked me to call you, saying there was something urgent, hurry over."

The young man frowned slightly and asked, "What is it?" Did Grandpa say anything?"

"I don't know. But this time Grandpa's smile was different from usual, and he looked rather odd, as if he really had something to say." The girl had stopped three steps away from the boy and raised her eyes with a smile.

"Is it the mother-in-law's body..." Just as the young man was about to go on, the young girl interrupted, "No, I've looked carefully. Your mother-in-law has been in good spirits recently. There's nothing different from before. You can rest assured about this."

The young man felt much relieved at once. "That's good! That's good -- "There was a hint of depth in his tone, and his deep eyes had already seen through the verdant forest in the distance.

The girl took it to heart and smiled faintly, "Well, don't think too much. Grandpa is waiting for us!"

"Well, let's go."

Two elegant figures drifted further and further away. For a moment, they disappeared into the bamboo grove. The young man was the Kellen of the past. The girl was, of course, Water Elara. I never expected that the two of them would be so wonderful now.

Suddenly, there was a rustling sound in the depths of the bamboo grove, and a huge orange-yellow python emerged from nowhere, meandering and following the two tiny figures. The python was, of course, Nine Spirits, who had been guarding Kellen since childhood.
