Chapter 27 - Adventure Journey (5)

In the eyes of the giant venomous centipede and the snout fire-horned dragon, this fire ring is far too small. But in the eyes of Water Elara and Kellen, the fire ring was a hundred feet in size!

Seeing the huge flames gradually engulf the two opposing groups of monsters, the two children had to rush towards a nearby giant pine and use their psychic eyes.

After a short while, the giant ring of fire sank into the two groups of monsters. Gradually, only the huge beast's head was still flashing in the firelight, the mountain forest was still in turmoil, the rhinoceros was still running wildly, the fire illuminated the sky, and the fire ring was deep. In just a second, the huge ring of fire vanished on the flat surface of the steep slope of the forest.

"Kellen, they're gone! Look over there, there's only one big fire pit left, go and see!" Water Elara, with a childlike heart, was naturally curious about this game of Warcraft.

"Hey! No!" "It's very dangerous there. They might come at any time," warned Kellen, frowning tightly. But... We can go and see it there!" Kellen pointed to the huge branch on top of the fire pit and said to Elara, "Come, come with me!"

Kellen grabbed water Elara's little hand tightly, and with two swift movements, she leapt straight onto the towering branch she had just pointed to.

"Look!"

A giant venomous centipede, with a pair of serrated fangs, shoots out a swirling white fog straight at a snout fire-horned beast. In an instant, the nose-horned creature, enveloped by the fog, moved slowly and began to freeze over its body. With the creaking sound of ice, the already poisoned rhinoceros, from the sharp horns of the huge blades on its head to the steel-like claws and toes under its feet, seemed to be cracking with ice.

The fire blood was burning fiercely in the body of the rhinoceros, as if to melt the layers of frost. But the beast did not have enough patience. Its huge body, already bent down, was in a "bow" shape. The low front arm clung tightly to the ground, concentrating all its force on the sharp tip of its horns. The slightly backward pull of the buttocks, ready to strike, not only controls the accuracy of the instant thrust, but also creates a huge tension!

"Om!" With just one shot, the sharp tip of the horn pierced the venomous centipede's abdomen without a doubt. Clumps of milky-white venom, gurgling and slowly spreading, along a pair of horns, to the huge head of the snout fire-horned dragon, then to the neck, the front arm, the front claw, all the way to the ground.

The severely wounded centipede had no ability to struggle at all. Its entire standing body, in an instant, was like a broken ladder of the cloud, limp and unable to move on the back of the snout fire-horned creature.

At the same time. As the venom of the giant centipede spread, the two huge pupils of the snout fire-horned dragon, which were so red they turned purple, instantly shrank by more than ten times! It turned from purplish red to pale white and then turned into a cloud of white smoke and disappeared.

The dark red scales on the large head, after being frozen, began to turn into clumps of water vapor, evaporating rapidly. In a short while, there was only a protruding and upturned skeleton left, like a fossil of a giant skeleton, firmly fixed there, but still unable to escape death! The two children on the branch were stunned by the outcome of both losing and dying.

At this moment, the giant venomous centipedes seemed to go berserk collectively. After the "hissing" sound, white smoke rolled up and venom sprayed out in all directions. The huge fire pit, which was tens of feet in size, was instantly veiled by a mass of white mist. There was a clanging sound at the bottom of the "white mist" pit, and the whooshing flames broke through the billowing white smoke, shot out of the pit, paused briefly, and then died out. From time to time, the white smoke turned into a fiery red, "crackling" sound.

The two children, on the high branches, listened with great excitement, but their psychic eyes did not work. The firelight was mixed with a poisonous mist, the former being positive fire and the latter pure Yin poison. The convergence of Yin and Yang instantly destroyed the immature spiritual powers of the two children. As a result, the psychic eye failed for a moment, and they could only rely on their ears to judge who won and who lost.

Water Elara clung tightly to Kellen's little arm, staring fixedly at the mass of white mist and asked, "Kellen, what's the name of that fire beast?"

Kellen stared straight at the thick white mist and whispered, "Nose Fire Horned Dragon! It's terrible, no ordinary man can defeat it, but this time it's bad, the giant venomous centipede is its natural enemy!"

Water Elara whispered, "It seems the giant centipede will win this time?"

Kellen whispered, "I don't know. This time it's a huge disparity in strength. The rhinoceros is clearly more in number and, in size, it's hard to say who will win until the very end. But I hope the venomous centipede will win!"

Water Elara, looking puzzled, frowned and asked in a low voice, "Why?"

Kellen chuckled and replied, "Because you want to go to the Chishui Abyss! Think about it, if these dozen or so fire-horned dragons die here, then there will be a few less troublesome monsters in the Crimson Water abyss, and we can sneak into the Crimson Water abyss and then figure out how to approach the giant Beast tower, wouldn't that be great?"

As soon as Water Elara heard this, a smile immediately spread across her little face, and her two big eyes sparkled with sparkle as she looked at Kellen and said, "Yes!" Then we'll be more confident! Kellen, you are so smart! Let's hurry on our way while they are fighting!"

Kellen frowned immediately, warning: "No! Both of these monsters have extraordinary spirits, and don 't forget, this is the Hand Spirit Mountain! Once they discover it, we'll never be able to leave! Remember how pitiful the death of that snout fire-horned dragon was just now?"

Water Elara immediately opened her eyes wide and quickly covered Kellen's mouth with her little hand. Kellen followed Elara's dazed eyes and saw a huge venomous centipede crawling out of the crater! Kellen grabbed two giant broad-leaved leaves and stealthily hid her two small bodies within them. The pungent smell of the broadleaf instantly enveloped the two little ones.

The giant venomous centipede had just climbed up to the ground, straightened up with a hissing sound, and touched in the air with its long black venomous whiskers. It sent out the hissing signal again and crouched down. Immediately, two more venomous centipedes were seen climbing up from the bottom of the pit where white smoke was billowing. With a rustling sound, the three giant venomous centipedes slipped into the interlaced grass and disappeared.

The two children, still in a state of shock, were stunned for a long time under the tight wraps of the giant broad-leaved leaves. Until the white smoke at the bottom of the pit had dissipated, the five huge centipede corpses at the bottom lay still on the ground, motionless. Beside the centipede corpses were piles of huge white bones, like fossils, lying quietly on the ground as if thousands of years had passed. Of course, these fossilized bones are the special effects of the centipede venom.
