Child, don't mind him."
"No, Queen, what Odin said is correct. If I have time, I also want to visit you all."
Chu Yang readily agreed to Odin's suggestion, a win-win proposal, after all, Asgard still had many good things.
The library alone contained countless profound magic and technology.
Odin laughed heartily, winking at Frigga, showing not a trace of his dignity as a God King.
Frigga shook her head exasperatedly. Since Chu Yang didn't mind, there was no need for her to say anything more.
After leaving a kunai, Chu Yang slowly formed hand seals under their watchful eyes, and his figure abruptly disappeared into thin air.
"He just teleported away?"
Odin's eyes widened, "I didn't feel any magical fluctuations. How did he do that?"
Frigga also showed a bewildered expression.
Odin looked down at the strangely shaped kunai in his hand, thoughtfully: "I think I've found something very interesting…"
Earth.
In the dark night sky, a bolt of lightning streaked across the heavens.
Thor, following the lightning, landed on an airplane. Sitting in the cockpit was "Black Widow" Natasha Romanoff.
Inside the cabin, "Captain America" Steve Rogers and "Iron Man" Tony Stark were arguing fiercely.
Not long ago, the newly formed Avengers successfully captured Loki, but failed to find the tesseract.
To find the whereabouts of the tesseract, they planned to transport Loki to S.H.I.E.L.D.'s "Helicarrier."
However, during the transport, Steve questioned how easily Loki was captured, while Tony was indifferent and even mocked him a few times.
The two then got into an argument.
Until Natasha noticed Thor's arrival.
"Now is not a good time to argue. Open the hatch, I'm going out to see."
Tony put on his mask and strode out.
Who knew that the moment the hatch opened, Thor had already appeared at the doorway. He showed a friendly smile, "You must be Tony! I know you, I heard Yang…"
He hadn't finished speaking.
Thor was hit by a powerful beam of light and sent flying.
Steve was dumbfounded, muttering, "He seems to know you…"
"Bah!" Tony cursed furiously, "Who the hell knows him! An interstellar human trafficker, I'm going to beat the crap out of him today!"
With that, the Mark VI armor's thrusters immediately went to maximum power, and with a "boom," Tony shot out of the cabin.
Loki grinned gleefully, whistling and quipping, "I'm starting to like this iron guy!"
Steve, bewildered, asked, "Can anyone tell me why he's so angry?"
"Captain, you're new, so you don't know. A friend of Tony was taken away by this 'god' and hasn't returned yet," Natasha explained through the communication headset.
Steve heard a hint of inexplicable apology in Natasha's tone, so he asked curiously, "You also know his friend?"
Natasha took a deep breath and said with a wry smile, "To be precise, I also bear some responsibility for this matter."
"I remember Stark refused to join the Avengers Initiative because of that friend, right?" Steve suddenly recalled a scene where he saw Tony and Nick Fury cursing at each other, seemingly mentioning someone's name.
Natasha nodded, "Yes."
"Understood. It seems that was a very important friend," Steve picked up a parachute nearby and slowly walked to the hatch.
Natasha asked in surprise, "Captain, what are you doing?"
"Stopping Stark from doing something foolish!" Steve's eyes were deep, "I once had a very important friend too, and losing him made me feel desperate, so I can understand Stark's current feelings."
"But given the current situation, we cannot add more potential enemies, although I still don't know what purpose that person has in coming to Earth…"
With that, Steve leaped from the hatch, his figure quickly disappearing into the thick clouds.
Natasha sighed helplessly, opened her communication, and sent a distress signal to S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters, "The guy code-named 'Thor' has appeared, his attitude is still unclear. Tony Stark initiated an attack, and the Captain pursued him to stop his aggressive behavior."
After a while, the communicator crackled with static, followed by Nick Fury's voice, asking only one question.
"Where's Chu Yang?"
"Haven't seen him."
A heavy sigh sounded, Nick Fury seemed to have a headache.
Although he had explained to Tony long ago that Chu Yang wouldn't be in danger, after not seeing him for so long, Tony's patience was gradually running out.
If Chu Yang didn't appear soon, his withdrawal from the Avengers would probably only be a matter of time.
On the other side.
Tony and Thor landed in a forest, the atmosphere tense.
Thor raised both hands and quickly shouted, "Hey! Relax, I know you're in a hurry, but don't rush yet, listen to my explanation."
Tony also raised his hands, not responding to him, and energy cannons began to gather in his palms again.
"What a hot temper!" Thor cursed under his breath, holding back his anger for a long time, finally unable to resist. He gripped thor's hammer and summoned lightning.
The next moment.
Two beams of light collided violently!
Instantly, the world lit up!
The blinding light made it difficult to open one's eyes, and even Thor instinctively turned his head.
Tony, clad in his Iron Man suit, was fearless. He rushed directly in front of Thor and kicked him in the face.
"Fuck!"
Thor, in pain, cursed. After regaining his footing, he backhanded Tony with his hammer, sending him flying, and the armor immediately blared an alarm.
Just as the two were fighting fiercely, Steve descended from the sky, using his shield to push them apart.
"I hope you can calm down," Steve looked at Tony, "Especially you, Tony Stark, I can understand how you feel right now, but we shouldn't make the situation worse. Even if you win against him here, it doesn't mean your friend can come back."
Tony completely ignored Steve, turned and walked towards Thor, grabbing his collar and asking, "I'm only going to ask you once, listen carefully, big guy, where did you take Yang?"
Thor, not to be outdone, grabbed the mechanical arm of the Iron Man suit, which immediately sparked. He removed his hand before speaking: "Because of some special reasons, the Rainbow Bridge used for teleportation in Asgard was destroyed, which is why Yang is still there."
"He's studying magic every day and doing very well, you don't need to worry. He was supposed to come back with me, but Father King finds it difficult to teleport two people at once, so I came to Earth first."
Tony immediately said in a deep voice, "Why wasn't he the one to come back first?"
Thor said coldly, "Because I had to come back first to take Loki and the tesseract. If left unchecked, that guy will cause huge trouble!"
Steve interjected at the right time, "So, you're here to stop Loki, not to be our enemy."
Thor pushed Tony away and said naturally, "Of course, why would I be your enemy? This is Chu Yang's home, and he and I are still good friends. My mother also likes him very much and has taught him a lot of magic."
Steve and Tony exchanged glances, the former speaking first: "You heard his answer, don't keep making a fuss."
Tony snorted coldly, immediately activated his suit, and shot into the sky, disappearing in the blink of an eye.
Steve shook his head helplessly, pressed his communication headset, and whispered, "Natasha, come pick me up."
The next day.
In a large grassland somewhere in Africa, a pack of hyenas was Siege a lioness. The lioness seemed to have just given birth, looking dispirited, and beneath her emaciated body was a small lion cub, the size of a kitten.
Chu Yang appeared out of thin air, landing right in the center of the battlefield between the two sides.
The hyenas barked furiously at this uninvited guest, and the lioness also watched him warily.
Chu Yang frowned slightly.
He stretched out his hand, and lightning crackled in the void, instantly striking most of the hyenas.
After a few short, mournful yelps, the hyenas immediately tucked their tails and fled.
Chu Yang sighed.
Flying Thunder God Technique indeed has no distance limit, but compared to Asgard's teleportation magic, it still has drawbacks.
In ultra-long-distance teleportation, there is a certain delay, or rather, a time cost.
Chu Yang arrived more than three or four hours later than Thor.
Besides time, ultra-long-distance teleportation also consumes an alarming amount of Chakra.
Just teleporting from Asgard to Earth, Chu Yang consumed nearly two-thirds of his Chakra.
One must know that Chu Yang's Chakra reserves were at Tailed Beast level.
But compared to Odin's teleportation magic, Flying Thunder God Technique was still extremely cost-effective.
"I'll go back to Stark Tower first to check."
Chu Yang muttered lowly, just about to use Apparition, when he suddenly felt something tugging at his pant leg at his feet.
Looking down, it was the fluffy little lion cub. It seemed hungry, and also seemed to want to tell Chu Yang something.
Holding the cub by the scruff of its neck, Chu Yang went to the lioness and only then realized she had quietly died, seemingly from excessive blood loss due to the hyenas' attack.
In fact, even before Chu Yang arrived, the lioness was already at her last gasp. It was probably motherly love that made her hold on for so long.
The little cub whimpered, licking Chu Yang's palm, unaware of its mother's death.
Chu Yang stood for a long time, then lifted the little fella to his face, sighing, "I don't know if you're lucky or unlucky to have met me."
With that, he tucked the little lion cub into the inner lining of his clothes, preparing to take it with him.
Leaving the cub on the savanna would be equivalent to sentencing it to death.
Chu Yang silently recited the incantation for Apparition, his figure twisting with space. The next moment, he was back in the familiar laboratory.
Before he could even catch his breath, the sound of gunfire outside made his ears ache.
Opening the window, Chu Yang finally saw that the outside was swarming with Qitari, like a locust plague, covering the sky and earth.
"It really is a case of better late than never…"
Chu Yang complained helplessly, then opened a compartment made of rare metal, placed the little lion cub inside, and patted its head, saying, "Don't run around, I don't want a big dish added to my dinner."
