Chapter 4 - 4

Chapter 5: Jinbe, the "Mere Four Emperors"

Chu Yang, who was contemplating his future, seemed somewhat dazed.

In Tiger's eyes, Chu Yang exuded a sense of bewilderment.

Tiger patted Chu Yang's shoulder and comforted him, "How about this, you come with me first, and then we'll make a plan later."

Chu Yang asked in surprise, "Where to? Fish-Man Island?"

"Do you think I can still return to Fish-Man Island?" Tiger said with a bitter smile, "After tonight, I'll probably be wanted by the Marine worldwide!"

"Under these circumstances, if I return to Fish-Man Island, it will bring immeasurable disaster to Fish-Man Island."

Chu Yang sighed, "Indeed."

Tiger asked, "Are you willing to set sail with me?"

The Sun Pirates?

Chu Yang's heart stirred, and thinking that he had no better place to go at the moment, he agreed to Tiger's invitation.

Then, the two of them stealthily made their way to the port, preparing to commandeer a pirate ship to set sail.

Every ship actually had crew members on guard.

However, at this time, they were all resting in their cabins.

Because there were only two of them, and considering that Chu Yang had no sailing experience, Tiger planned to get a small three-masted sailboat for easy handling.

Neither Chu Yang nor Tiger felt any moral burden about robbing a pirate ship; they considered it robbing the rich to help the poor, though the ones being helped were themselves.

After locking onto their target, Tiger and Chu Yang prepared to act. The number of pirates on a small three-masted sailboat was not large, and they were no match for them at all.

After dealing with these grunts, Tiger was about to sail the pirate ship away, but then he heard a familiar voice.

"Big Brother Tiger, I've been waiting for you for a long time. What are you doing?"

Chu Yang and Tiger turned around.

They saw a large group of Fish-Men standing on the shore, led by a burly blue fatty.

He looks very familiar…

Isn't this Jinbe, the "mere Four Emperors"!

Tiger's expression was serious.

To avoid implicating his companions, he chose to go to Mary Geoise alone, but he didn't expect them to follow.

Looking at the towering flames reflected from above the Red Line, Jinbe guessed that Tiger had succeeded, so he said, "I can't stop you from rescuing those slaves, but you can't stop us either."

"Jinbe!" Tiger was very angry!

But he was also helpless; he knew Jinbe was a very loyal guy.

"Big Brother Tiger, although we can't help you much, we can leave with you!" Jinbe's eyes revealed a deep light, like the ocean.

"That's right, Big Brother Tiger, even if the Marine wants to pursue you, they'll have to get past us first!"

"I've long disliked those humans; if one comes, I'll deal with one!"

The rest of the Fish-Men also started to clamor.

While touched, Tiger also felt that he couldn't argue with this group of people, so he could only agree to let them join him and set sail together.

"I'm sorry, Little brother, I'm afraid we'll have to take more people with us when we set sail." Tiger was a bit apologetic, because he knew that besides himself, the other Fish-Men would not look kindly upon the young man in front of them.

Only then did the Fish-Men notice Chu Yang, and everyone's expressions suddenly turned grim.

Jinbe was fine; although he didn't have much affection for humans, at least he wouldn't actively show malice.

At this moment, a tall Fishman stepped forward.

Staring coldly at Chu Yang, he asked, "Big Brother Tiger, who is this boy?"

Tiger stood in front of Chu Yang and said in a deep voice, "Arlong, he escaped from Mary Geoise with me and saved me once."

"Saved Big Brother Tiger?"

The still very young Arlong did not lessen his malice towards Chu Yang because of this. With a displeased expression, he said, "Big Brother, you're not really going to bring this human child to sea with us, are you?"

"Who knows if he'll betray us later."

As soon as these words were spoken, the remaining Fish-Men echoed them, their words filled with dissatisfaction towards Chu Yang's human identity.

Having experienced a near-death situation, Chu Yang's mindset had already changed.

Facing such blatant hostility, he coldly looked at these guys.

He could kill jailers, and naturally, he could also kill these guys.

"All of you, shut up!" Tiger uncharacteristically yelled at his companions, "Do you want me to do something ungrateful like those humans?"

At his roar, the Fish-Men led by Arlong immediately fell silent, but Arlong still glared fiercely at Chu Yang.

"You think you can easily manipulate me because I'm young?" Chu Yang smiled. It seemed that to gain a foothold in the Sun Pirates, he had to give Arlong a warning first.

Seeing the atmosphere become awkward, Jinbe stepped forward to mediate, "Big Brother Tiger, more or less, all of them have suffered persecution from humans, so their guard is higher. I hope you can understand."

Tiger sighed. He certainly understood. Even his own good feelings towards humans had completely vanished. If Chu Yang hadn't truly helped him, he would most likely have stood by and done nothing.

Subsequently, in a strange atmosphere, Chu Yang boarded the huge pirate ship with the Fish-Men.

This was prepared by Jinbe before he arrived.

Tiger personally raised the legendary flag of the Sun Pirates.

The pirate flag danced in the wind in the dark night, and the ship slowly left the port, sailing towards the boundless sea.

Standing on the deck, Tiger smiled and asked Chu Yang's name for the first time.

"My name is Chu Yang!"

The boy's clear and confident voice echoed.

"A very special name." Tiger found it a bit difficult to pronounce but still remembered Chu Yang's name.

After a while of enjoying the wind on the deck, Chu Yang planned to rest, but Arlong suddenly volunteered to take Chu Yang to his room.

Arlong's sudden enthusiasm made Tiger think that his relationship with Chu Yang had eased. He readily agreed.

Chu Yang had a cold smile on his lips and did not expose Arlong's little scheme. It was a good opportunity for him to "talk" with the other party.

Arlong led Chu Yang into the cabin, going down, and soon bypassed the living quarters, heading straight to the storage warehouse on the bottom floor.

Standing outside the warehouse door, Arlong suddenly stopped, turned, and looked at Chu Yang with a cold expression, sneering, "Human child, you don't really think I'm taking you to rest, do you?"

Arlong expected to see a panicked expression on Chu Yang's face, but he only saw amusement.

The young Arlong was not yet the novice BOSS of Cocoyasi Village that he would become, and even if he were, he would certainly not be Chu Yang's opponent.

Arlong, failing to get his desired reaction, his expression turned ferocious, and he roared, "Kid, you'd better obediently get off the ship while I'm still talking to you nicely!"

"Noisy!" Chu Yang raised his right hand, and a large amount of Wood Release vines extended from his right arm, constantly expanding, instantly enveloping Arlong, making him unable to move.

The wood continuously squeezed Arlong's body, and the tight constriction made Arlong feel suffocated. He looked at Chu Yang in horror, "You're a Devil Fruit user?!"

Chu Yang did not answer him, only continuously increased the pressure until blood began to flow from Arlong's mouth and nose.

His internal organs were severely damaged!

Arlong's expression of agony made Chu Yang very excited, and he showed a very pure smile.

And Arlong, seeing this scene, was horrified!

Chapter 6: Fish-Man Karate

Arlong looked at the red-eyed Chu Yang, wanting to beg for mercy, but the fear of death made him too scared to speak.

Arlong's mouth was open, and he kept trembling.

Chu Yang looked at the blood continuously overflowing from Arlong's body and suddenly recalled the pain when the Celestial Dragons' branding iron was pressed hard against his chest.

The anger of being preyed upon because of his weakness ignited the killing intent deep within Chu Yang's heart.

He would never again allow others to trample on him!

"You… What do you want to do?!"

Arlong, who was about to faint, was stimulated by the chill emanating from Chu Yang, and his consciousness suddenly cleared.

"If you kill me, you won't be able to stay on the ship. Big Brother Tiger won't allow someone who kills a companion to remain!"

Arlong screamed hysterically, trying to awaken Chu Yang's reason.

"Just now…" Chu Yang said coldly, "If I didn't agree to you, would you have let me go? Would you have let an ordinary human go?"

Arlong was instantly speechless. As Chu Yang expected, he had no intention of letting Chu Yang go. Even if he didn't kill him, he would throw him into the sea and let him fend for himself.

Afterward, Arlong only needed to lie that Chu Yang left on his own. Although he might not be able to deceive Tiger, Tiger would have no way of dealing with him.

Arlong was certain that Tiger would not turn against his own kind for a human.

"You are no different in essence from those humans you despise…" Chu Yang sneered, giving up on the idea of killing Arlong and beginning to loosen the Wood Release vines that bound him.

It wasn't that Chu Yang was soft-hearted; if he killed Arlong here, Chu Yang indeed wouldn't be able to stay on the ship.

More importantly, someone was coming…

The burly blue fatty stood behind Chu Yang, his hands covered in Armament Haki resting on Chu Yang's shoulders, ready to save Arlong at any moment.

Chu Yang deactivated his Wood Release, turned to look at Jinbe, and calmly asked, "When did you arrive?"

Jinbe glanced at the blood-soaked Arlong, and a look of shock flashed in his eyes.

He tried to lower his voice, making himself appear calmer, "When Arlong said he was taking you to rest, I felt something was off. That's not like him. To be safe, I followed behind you two the whole time."

Jinbe gave a bitter smile, "I was afraid he would do something foolish, and it turns out I was right, but I didn't expect…"
