Lying together, two young women snuggled on a small bed in a cheap motel. The room was run-down, but they were together and quiet. One watched the other with a hint of concern on her face, deep in thought. A dim neon light fell on them both, and the sound of the busy street filled the room, making it feel crowded. It wasn't uncomfortable, but rather cozy. But today was different. If it were any other situation, the blue-haired girl would have been happy to spend time with her partner like this, but not today. So, wanting to clear the doubts that tormented her heart, she called out to the older woman.
"Hey, Lux, are you still awake?" She buried her face in the blonde's breasts.
"Um, yes, why?" she asked, curious about what the girl wanted.
"Nothing much, I just wanted to ask you something," she murmured, her voice trembling, almost tearful.
"What is it?"
"You're not going to leave me, are you?" she asked, trembling with tears in her eyes, tightening her embrace.
"No, Jinx, I'll never leave you. I'll never leave your side; we'll be together forever," She said, stroking the girl's hair and kissing her forehead.
This promise is both good and bad, but regardless of the outcome, there will be no regrets for either party, for the love they share goes beyond magic and metal.
