Chapter 13 - The Arrogant Unrivaled

At the lower left side of the Kingdom of Knower, where the Meeting Hall is located...

All fifteen officials of the kingdom were summoned by the king.

All of them were men—aged far beyond the normal human lifespan. Each of them had lived for more than 500 years.

They entered an extremely tall building with fifty-five floors. At the very top floor, they gathered.

All were wearing high-quality garments and accessories—except for one.

Among the fifteen officials, there was a leader: an old man known for his intelligence and close friendship with the king.

They all sat around a large rectangular table made of diamond glass.

At the center of the table, a hologram of the king was projected.

Together, they spoke in unison:

"Our King."

Then the king began to speak.

"I have called you here for a very important matter.

I know all of you are aware by now—Entity 111 is far stronger than we thought. He has complete control over himself... and he hasn't lost his emotions.

The most terrifying thing is this: he is both a creator and a destroyer.

This is a serious problem. Without the System, we are powerless against him."

The king then told them what had happened—how he saw a simulation of another world where he was killed.

"What?! That's impossible!" one of the officials said in disbelief.

"Yes, it should be unknown to us—just a fantasy. The idea that there exists a parallel self... but I've seen it. I experienced everything until that version of me died.

Yeah… defeating him seems impossible. But— we have System Zero.

In that other world, she was the cause of my end. But I've seen what Anon's weakness is—his souls. There are many of them inside him.

They're all fighting for full control of his body.

And that's our target right now.

First, we must lure him into our territory. Don't harm him—not yet. Let's wait until we're fully prepared.

Then, we'll find a way to trigger those souls to awaken... and that's when we'll command System Zero to act."

Another official spoke up.

"My king, System Zero is still incomplete. There's a high chance she'll destroy us along with Anon."

The king replied, "Hmm… That's why we must do nothing until we have full control over System Zero."

One official stretched his arms and yawned loudly like a cow.

"This is so troublesome! We're lucky though… there are only two god-humans in this world. And only one is a threat."

The others turned to him, their faces filled with insult and disapproval.

After the plan was discussed, the king's hologram disappeared. The officials remained seated, talking amongst themselves. The air was thick with pressure.

Meanwhile, on an unknown Earth-like planet—

A place disconnected from Anon's world, a place where Anon and another version of himself from a different reality now sat on a vast, smooth grassy field.

"And that was when you used that first chant of yours," the man said thoughtfully.

Anon's eyes widened. "Whoa… so that's why there are so many people inside me?

I thought that chant was useless!"

That was the moment Anon first discovered his power and used it carelessly—unaware of its true effects.

"Yes. The chant pulls and throws realities. It ignores the boundaries of all universes.

The chant you used pulled—that means it merged central entities into one. The others, those it couldn't reach, were thrown away...

Including me," the man explained.

Anon heard this, not with regret or surprise, but with curiosity about the man's identity.

He asked, "Umm... may I ask something?"

The man nodded.

"Is your name the same as mine? And why don't I feel any sadness from you? I'm sure your loved ones died... and now you'll never see them again.

Why do your words feel... empty?"

Anon was just a curious child, but he understood the pain of losing someone.

And yet, from this man—he felt nothing.

Then the man laughed freely.

"Hahahah!…"

He stopped, looked at Anon's face… and laughed again.

"Ga-ga—Hahahahaha!

Yep. My name is Anon Xembo. The richest person in my story—and the most powerful of all. Even the Guardians couldn't defeat me!

You're kind of funny, you know?

Yeah, I lost them. I miss them… a little.

But remember these words, little Anon:

If life depends on power, then with power, life is brought.

I'm just here to inform you... don't do that again.

I'm capable of everything. Nothing is beyond my reach."

He said these words with pride, confidence—and arrogant self-assurance.

Anon frowned, annoyed.

"Ahh... you're one of the weirdest adults I've ever met."

"So, Xembo-bamboo arrogant-bob!

Can you send me back and get me out of here already?"

He asked with a twisted face.

"What?!" Xembo's mouth opened in shock.

"You're not even going to praise me? Or ask how I can do that?

Look around, kid!

This is my world. Sure, it's empty now, but I can restore it at any moment.

Let me explain just how impossible this feat was for someone like you to accomplish.

My story is a separate realm from yours—a different reality not connected to yours in any structural way.

And yet you destroyed it.

My universe was full of countless other universes and realms with massive, complex structures.

But you—you—with your power that ignores impossibility itself... destroyed everything. Nothing remains except me.

Just imagine it, boy.

I could bring it all back with just a thought.

So no, I'm not sad. Because I know how powerful I am.

Hahahaha!"

He rubbed his chin and smiled proudly.

He thought Anon would be amazed, maybe even beg for answers—or worship him.

But instead...

"You are...

Ahhhhhhhh...

Sleeping?!"

He shouted so loudly that the birds in the trees appeared and scattered into the sky in fright.

Anon had been wanting to sleep for a while, and Xembo's long-winded boasting just made him more tired.

Eventually, he fell asleep.

Xembo glared at him, then squatted down and picked him up.

With a nostalgic smile, he whispered, "Hehe… this is a familiar feeling."

As he looked up into the sky, more flying creatures appeared—covering the light of the glowing sun with their massive wings, casting wide shadows over the peaceful world.
