Actually, it was quite difficult to attend class with people who had hurt him. Unfortunately, Riki was in the same class as Anton and Hannah.
As soon as Riki arrived, his eyes were met with the sight of Anton cozying up to Hannah.
"Look who's here. I'm sure he sold his body to a wealthy old woman to get an apartment at The Manor Residence," Anton said in that annoying, mocking tone. It was like the buzzing of bees in his ears—no, even the buzzing of bees was more melodious than Anton's voice.
Hannah, who was sitting close to Anton, as if there was no empty space left, looked at Riki with a mocking smile.
"He must be desperate because he saw me with you, babe. So he's trying to make me jealous by acting like he has a lot of money. I agree, he must have sold his body to get the money," Hannah accused.
Riki couldn't believe he had ever cared for a girl with such a foul mouth.
[Your fourth mission is to sit in front of your ex-girlfriend. Make sure you sit with a girl and help her understand the lesson.]
[You will receive 500,000$ if successful]
Riki raised his eyebrows. An easy mission with a big reward. No problem at all for this mission.
Well, Riki was only at the bronze level, so it was impossible to get a difficult mission.
[You were complaining about this earlier, master]
Forget that, now Riki had to find a seat… oh!
Riki hurriedly sat next to a beautiful girl named Lizbeth. She was Kaivan's twin sister.
Kimberly Lizbeth Velhart.
Usually called Liz.
However, unlike Kaivan and Angeline, Liz is a quiet girl who often gets mocked by those around her just because she's a bit overweight.
Riki remembers when they were freshmen, Liz used to go everywhere with Angeline and Kaivan. She was a cheerful girl.
But after facing so much ridicule and being compared to Angeline, she became withdrawn. Her body also grew bigger, and she began to distance herself from Angeline and Kaivan.
Despite this, no one dared to bully her openly.
"Hey, can I sit here?" Riki asked.
Liz turned to Riki, then smiled, revealing the dimple on her left cheek. She was very beautiful despite being chubby.
Riki's gloomy mood from meeting Anton and Hannah quickly faded upon seeing Liz's beautiful smile.
"Of course, Riki."
Riki smiled too, then unconsciously just stared at the girl.
"Is there something on my face, Riki?" Liz asked.
Riki shook his head, "No, I'm just happy to see your smile."
"Are you flirting with me?"
Riki laughed, "Hahaha, of course not."
Liz turned back to face forward, as their professor had arrived.
"Of course not, right?" Liz muttered.
"Hmm, did you say something?" Riki asked.
Liz shook her head slowly and smiled bitterly.
"Look at that, two pathetic people sitting next to each other," Hannah said.
Riki turned around with a smile, "Oh, are you talking about yourselves? Hahaha, you both really are pathetic."
"Hey, jerk—"
"Enough, Anton, he's just entertaining himself right now."
Riki turned back to face forward and listened to the professor carefully. Right now, the lecture was more important than listening to the ramblings of those two annoying people.
An hour passed, and the professor assigned them a group task.
"Do you want to be in a group with me, Liz? I don't have any friends," Riki said.
Liz nodded quickly, as she wasn't close with anyone either.
"But do you understand the assignment? I'm not too sure," Liz muttered, which Riki almost didn't hear if he hadn't been focusing on the girl.
"Oh, sure, which part don't you understand?"
Seeing that Riki no longer cared about Hannah, Hannah began to feel annoyed at the closeness between Riki and Liz.
On purpose, Hannah pushed Liz, causing the slightly overweight girl to bump into Riki.
"Hey, what are you doing?" Riki protested, glaring at Hannah angrily.
"Oops! Even though you're as big as an elephant, you're still invisible," Hannah said with a mocking smile.
Anton came over and hugged Hannah, "You don't need to worry about them, dear, because you'll end up as pitiful as they are."
The shameless couple left, laughing mockingly.
Not only them, but some of the people still there also joined in the mocking laughter.
"They do fit together, though."
"One's a bum, the other's swollen."
Riki, who was about to scold them, was stopped by Liz.
"Riki, just let it go. Don't cause a scene. I understand our task; we'll discuss it later, okay? I have to go now."
Liz hurriedly left.
Riki knew the girl must be very sad hearing the harsh words from the people around her.
[You have successfully completed your fourth mission. 500,000$ has been transferred to your personal account.]
Riki then left the class. He had a date with Angeline, though he didn't know if Angeline wanted to go out with him or not.
On his way to Angeline's class, Riki saw Liz with Kaivan. Actually, Kaivan was chasing after her.
The twins who didn't look alike at all. Worse still, Kaivan was still friends with bullies like Anton.
But that wasn't Riki's business.
"Riki!"
Riki turned and was surprised to see Angeline approaching him, "Angel?"
"You said you wanted to take me somewhere?"
"Oh, right. Come on, let's go to the parking lot."
Angeline was confused when Riki took her to the parking lot. As far as she knew, Riki didn't have a motorcycle or a car.
"Did you borrow someone's motorcycle?" Angeline asked.
"Oh, no, I brought my own car, Angel. How could I take you if I didn't have a car? I'd be crazy to do that."
Angeline grew more curious about what kind of car Riki would show her. The girl clearly didn't have high expectations for the car Riki would show her.
They arrived at the parking lot, and Riki's brow furrowed at what was in front of him.
People were gathered around his car.
Riki approached the crowd.
"What are you guys doing?"
Riki's mood soured again when he saw Anton taking photos of Hannah posing in front of his car.
[Your fifth mission today is to drive them away from your car, make sure you embarrass them]
[As a reward, you will receive 10% of L.I Company's shares and +2 to all stats]
Riki furrowed his brow upon seeing the company owned by Angeline's father's family there.
L.I Company was the owner of the apartment building where Riki lived. The company had a high value on the stock market. And suddenly Riki could get it just by getting rid of those inconsiderate people?
Hell yeah!
"Is that car Anton's?"
"It seems like it, that's awesome!"
The people couldn't stop praising the car, knowing how expensive it was.
Would they still be amazed if they knew it was Riki's car?
"Get out of the way!" Riki shouted.
They started making way for Riki, but then, after Riki the one that asked them to move, they immediately mocked him.
"Huh, it's just Riki," Anton said.
"If you want to take a photo, get in line! You've probably never seen a car this nice before, have you? It costs 650,000 dollars. How many times would you have to sell yourself to get a car like this?" Hannah replied.
Riki laughed, leaving them confused. Usually, Riki would get angry if insulted, but now he was laughing. Has Riki lost his mind?
"Why are you laughing, you bastard!" Anton approached and was about to hit Riki. However, Riki quickly pushed him away.
"Get out of my car! Hey, Hannah, don't touch my car with your hands!"
The people laughed even harder after hearing Riki's words.
