Amelia and Lars arrived at the apartment carrying the small vial of blood that Lars had taken from the pastor. As they entered, Klein was already seated at the dining table, completely focused on his computer, his hand moving the mouse while his eyes scanned the screen.
Without saying much, Lars stepped forward and placed the vial on the table in front of him. Klein glanced at it briefly, then looked up at Lars with a slight frown.
"What is that supposed to be?"
Lars pulled out a chair and sat down before answering. "The pastor we saw today wasn't Kevin. From what we found out, he hasn't shown up in weeks, and that man has been taking his place at the workshop."
Klein's gaze shifted back to the vial. "And that has to do with this… how?" he asked.
Lars leaned back slightly, his tone more serious. "It's blood. The pastor pricked one of the students in the neck and drew it without her noticing. It was fast… subtle."
