Night had already fallen over London.
The city lights stretched endlessly beyond the windows of the apartment where Klein, Amelia, and Lars would be staying for the next few months. The place was quiet, modern, and discreet—perfect for what they needed.
Inside one of the rooms, Lars stood beside the bed, unpacking his belongings. His suitcase lay open, clothes neatly folded as he began placing them one by one into the wardrobe.
A soft knock echoed against the door.
The door was already open.
Lars didn't turn around.
Klein stepped inside, resting his shoulder casually against the frame as he watched him.
"I need you fully focused from now on."
Lars continued unpacking without stopping.
"What do you mean by that?" he asked calmly. "When have I ever not been focused?"
Klein pushed himself off the door and walked further into the room.
