Several days had passed since the events at the ruins of Palmyra.
Inside the palace of Dominion, all the remaining members of the organization were gathered in the main hall. The room was large and dimly lit, with tall windows that allowed a pale gray light to enter from outside. Around the long table sat Sigmund, Lars, Klein, Frank, William, Amaya, Amelia, Viktor, and finally Marcus, who had been recounting everything that had happened beneath the hill.
Everyone listened in silence while Marcus spoke.
"It was horrible," he said, leaning slightly forward in his chair. "It looked almost like one of those apocalypses you see on television. Cities burning, buildings collapsing, people killing each other everywhere. Crime rising all over the world, poverty spreading across entire countries… it was chaos."
The room remained quiet as he continued.
