Chapter 141 - Chapter 139 Wrong Answer! Avada Kedavra Eats a Big Melon!

Although the battle outside the secret passage caused a great commotion, the sorcerers inside continued their work methodically.

Once they had completely dug through the passage, the fighting outside gradually subsided.

"Should we wait for the master?"

Olive asked.

Vita shook her head.

"The faster we act, the better. No need to wait.

Let's go in and clear away anything that might cause an obstacle.

Once the master has dealt with things outside, he can come in and take the things directly."

  "Okay."

Vita was one of Grindelwald's most trusted assistants.

The sorcerers listened to her.

They used their wands for light and then carefully entered the secret chamber.

The chamber was pitch black; even with the wands, it wasn't fully illuminated.

Vita took some small balls from her pocket, shook them, and then released them.

The balls began to float upwards, gradually brightening as they rose.

As the small spheres rose to the ceiling, they automatically drifted outwards, their light completely illuminating the previously dark chamber!

The sorcerers extinguished the light from their wands, but their attention was quickly drawn to a huge metal sphere in the distance.

Even from a distance, the sorcerers could feel a powerful magical fluctuation emanating from that sphere…like an ordinary person seeing a high-voltage electrical box flashing with dazzling electricity—it was incredibly oppressive.

The path leading to the metal sphere was littered with ruins.

Clearly, a fierce battle had taken place here…

"Let's go, let's go take a look…" Vita said, cautiously moving forward.

After carefully passing several collapsed stone pillars, they found nothing amiss.

Their vigilance gradually eased.

They all felt that even if there had been some kind of trap or mechanism, the battle of that year had surely dissipated them.

Just as they approached the metal sphere with relaxed hearts…

  Suddenly…

  "Pop!"

Vita heard a soft explosion from the stone pillar beside her, like a balloon being popped.

Just as Vita sensed something was wrong, the outermost few members of the sorcerer gang suddenly collapsed to the ground!

"Oh no!

Watch out!"

Vita warned the others while casting an Ironclad Charm on herself!

This place is in such a dilapidated state, yet there are still traps?

However, Vita was wrong.

What attacked them wasn't a magical trap, but an insidious sleeping potion.

Vita had only taken a few steps back when she felt dizzy, her body lost control, and she collapsed to the ground.

A wave of overwhelming drowsiness washed over her…

In the moment she drifted off to sleep, she saw all the sorcerers around her fall to the ground as well.

"It's over…"

These were her last thoughts.

Outside the secret passage.

Only Grindelwald and Headmaster Dipper remained standing.

The sorcerers and the professors who had come to their aid were all lying on the ground.

Headmaster Dipper was deeply shocked.

The Hogwarts professors were all exceptionally skilled, and the few sorcerers Grindelwald had trained were no match for them.

After taking down a few sorcerers, the professors swarmed in, launching a righteous multi-on-one attack!

At this moment, everyone felt victory was in sight…but only then did they truly witness just how terrifying Grindelwald's power, wielding the Elder Wand, really was…

It wasn't that Grindelwald could overwhelm them with magic; in a direct head-on clash, he could at best fight them to a draw.

However… the dark magic Grindelwald used was far too bizarre!

Many of the professors had never even seen the dark magic he used… so they had no idea how to defend against it!

With the Elder Wand's enhancement…

even the weakest professor, Professor Garrick, was knocked unconscious by Grindelwald in a single exchange.

Everyone was shocked and dared not be careless again, going all out…but even so, professors continued to be knocked down.

Even the strongest professors, Hicks and Slughorn, couldn't hold out for long…

Headmaster Dippert stood panting, looking at the nonchalant Grindelwald before him.

Currently, only Headmaster Dippert, the most knowledgeable person present, could barely withstand Grindelwald's bizarre attacks.

"Even if your behavior is despicable, I must say, your talent… is truly astonishing…" Headmaster Dippert exclaimed.

"I'll also put aside my earlier contempt for you, Professor Dippert," Grindelwald said gently.

"If you were younger, I would find it very troublesome."

"That compliment of yours is rather grating…" Headmaster Dippert smiled wryly and raised his wand again.

"Still not giving up, Professor?

Are you sure you still have enough strength?"

Grindelwald said.

"I am the headmaster of Hogwarts.

How can I give up in the face of an enemy?"

Headmaster Dippet's voice was weak, but his gaze remained firm.

"Move the stone statues…" Since the enemy had entered through the secret passage, many of Hogwarts' protective spells were ineffective.

Now, all he could do was awaken the stone statues in the castle to build the last line of defense for the students.

Even if this might not be effective against Grindelwald…and he himself… had no other choice but to use his last bit of magic…

"Why bother?

I clearly had no intention of harming the Hogwarts students.

I just wanted to take something and leave.

You must have heard of some of my principles… I generally don't lay a hand on wizards… As you can see, I haven't killed a single one of your subordinates."

Grindelwald said helplessly.

"Young man, even if you pretend to be a principled person now, you can't hide the countless crimes you've committed.

You don't naively think we don't know how many people you've killed, do you?"

Headmaster Dippet said coldly.

"Alright, since you misunderstand me so deeply, then there's nothing more to say…"

The battle erupted again, but this time, the exhausted Headmaster Dipper, though still fighting bravely, ultimately collapsed before Grindelwald.

Grindelwald slowly walked to the unconscious Headmaster Dipper and whispered, "While I might kill ruthlessly elsewhere, in England… at Hogwarts… get some sleep, Headmaster."

With that, Grindelwald re-entered the secret passage.

Now, no one could stop him.

The thought of absorbing all that power and becoming incredibly strong, even Dumbledore unable to subdue him, filled him with excitement.

Then, the whole world would grovel at his feet!

However, upon entering the secret passage, Grindelwald quickly realized something was amiss.

All the Witchcraftians he had been in the passage were gone!

Normally, even if they had discovered something inside, they would have left someone outside to wait for him.

Unless… they had encountered something while exploring inside!

Thinking this, Grindelwald gripped his Elder Wand tighter and slowly entered the Chamber of Secrets.

"Tap, tap, tap..."

The sound of his shoes echoed in the empty chamber.

Grindelwald narrowed his eyes as he looked at the fallen members of the Witchcraft Party.

His first thought was that Dumbledore had returned and had defeated all his men.

However, he quickly dismissed this possibility.

Based on his understanding of Dumbledore, if he had returned, he would never have allowed him to defeat Headmaster Depp!

He slowly approached his unconscious men.

Suddenly, he smelled a sweet fragrance, followed by a dizzying sensation!

Grindelwald abruptly waved his wand, and a gust of wind swept through, dispersing the strange scent in the air .

"A sleeping potion? Ha... I see."

Grindelwald began to look around. "I almost forgot, where are two people I want to see... Come out."

Grindelwald's voice echoed in the Chamber, but all was still quiet; no one appeared.

Seeing no one emerge, Grindelwald chuckled, "You didn't think I couldn't see through the invisibility cloak, did you?"

*Whoosh!*

Another gust of wind swept a shimmering silver invisibility cloak away!

In a corner, two young wizards stared palely at Grindelwald…

Grindelwald turned and saw that the two wizards were Tom and Annie.

He looked around, puzzled.

Grindelwald had clearly sensed someone there, which was why he removed the invisibility cloak.

But he had expected three people inside; why were there only two?

Where was the third?

Suddenly, Grindelwald felt a slight pain in his back, and then a childish voice came from behind.

"Mr. Grindelwald, were you looking for me?"

At that moment, Li Wade appeared behind Grindelwald, his wand pressed firmly against Grindelwald's back.

"Ah…it's been a while, and your abilities have improved again, Wade.

How did you manage to deceive my senses and appear behind me?" Grindelwald asked with a smile.

Li Wade's abilities surprised Grindelwald once again, and he sensed that the kid was quite vengeful.

Because this scene looked strangely familiar.

Last time, Grindelwald had also appeared silently behind Li Wade in the same way.

This time, the kid had returned the favor… though he didn't know how.

"Guess?"

Li Wade said calmly.

"Well, I guess… a Disillusionment Charm, plus a minor spell to erase footsteps?"

Grindelwald's expression relaxed, looking more like a professor discussing magic with a student than someone being threatened with a wand.

"Wrong answer, Avada Kedavra…"

"Ha!

You brat!"
